As far as healthcare goes the US is a 3rd world country, where, only the rich can afford to see a doctor, or visit a hospital. Border control and immigration are absolutely a major issue that needs to be addressed. For instance, Canada should have been on top of border control a long time ago. It’s called desperation folks. Do a little research and find out what these people are trying to get away from! What would you do if you believed that this was the only way to protect your children, your family? The reason why you are leaving Canada is because we have had 50 years of NeoLiberalism. We can't even imagine a government that provides us with good service. A lot of Indians treat white people really badly. Especially when there is money involved. It’s now extremely common that people here hate dealing with Indians as customers of their business and will go as far as avoid it altogether. They will often relentlessly try to negotiate services, lie and say anything to get get their way, pester businesses until they cave to their demands and even leave bad reviews which they say they will change if you give them a good deal. None of this is the way things are done in Canada and that needs to be respected. Something kind of funny, I’ve heard many people say that Indians will often say they will refer tons of friends and family to a business if you give them an unreasonable discount (which they never do once they’ve gotten what they want), but what they don’t realize is that referring a bunch more Indians to them is the last thing that business wants. And really, some of the discounts they want on things are just ridiculous. When I was selling my car a few years ago, I had it listed for $55,000 and I got bombarded by Indians offering $20,000-$25,000 and every lie under the sun of why that’s all it was worth, other people are saying yes to offers like that for the same car, dealerships are selling them for that much and so on. Like come on. And I guess while I’m at it, I hate to say but it’s a common thing here to walk into a gas station and the smell of body odour just hits you like a brick. I’ve stopped going to 3 different stations because of it. I’m sure there’s some pungent white people out there but damn. This is on a whole other level. It literally fills the entire building.

The best advice I ever got was to rent rooms and share the common areas. That way they are boarders and not tennants and they don't have the same rights. People come to the USA because there's opportunities here, so why not make opportunities abroad?\n\nIf the USA were to remove benefits of dealing with china while offering massive incentives for moving manufacturing away from china directly to Latin America, not only would we be countering our Chinese dependency but we would also provide jobs at home and stem immigration. Not only that, but the businesses would be American and be controlled by Americans - a huge incentive to stay friendly to the USA.\n\nI don't know, just seems like our current policy and especially what Trump is suggesting are counter productive and stuck in a bygone way of thinking.

I don't know how a 2nd Trump Administration can really pull it off, but I do know a better way to deal with illegal migrants that have done terrible things in the states. Don't return them to their home country, return the to the earth.

My Nani died longing to go back to her haveli in Rawalpindi. She used to burst out in tears and blamed Jinnah and Gandhi for separation from her homeland. It was really sad to hear her stories. They lost everything. She lost two of her daughters on the way up the riots. They went searching for them but never found anything. But it’s evident from history Dr Ishtisk Ahmed quotes it was Muslim who started the riots first in bihar, bengal and Jinnah originally supported uprising in parts of Punjab, he wanted to show that we can’t live together to justify for separate state. Sadly now we have more Muslims in India then Pakistan and they live happily in our own neighbourhood. We attend each others functions and study in same schools, sit on same benches, use same school bus. It was all to fulfil Jinnahs desire to be supreme leader of Pakistan.

How exactly do you expect me to fit in? I've spoken English and lived here since the age of 2. I celebrate Halloween and Christmas but not Pride Month, and I don’t eat Canadian food regularly. Ah yes, the perfect man is going to fix everything. That's Trump's genius - that he can promise the world , fix nothing and convince people he did. Right now he's trying to fix the war in Ukraine and bring peace. Forgetting he's negotiating with a guy who doesn't fix things, he just breaks them and the last thing Putin is going to do is take Trump seriously. There's a a reason why Putin did not congratulate Trump -- he knows he's dealing with an idiot. \n\nTrump has surrounded himself with dunderheads just like him because competence makes him feel insecure. Intelligence gives him hives and common sense ED. \n\nHe got what he wanted from the elections now he wants to play golf and become the richest man in the world. All those grand plans and ideas except his retribution will have to wait because there's no money. It's all in his pocket. Try a mass deportation of millions when you have a no budget to work with. \n\nHe'll try to deport a few who have pissed him off but end up having it thrown out after the targets hire competent lawyers and sue him. The great legal minds will jump at the chance. Trumps lawyers haven't won a case yet. And so it will go until midterms swing the other way because Trump has accomplished zilch. We Canadians don't want fake American asylum seekers - we have our problems to solve. America had given way-in to them, now, America should deal with them.

Anyone reading this that is planning on crossing the border. I'm gonna be frank with ya. Aside from the fact that you probably shouldn't be trying to circumvent our laws just to avoid a situation you don't like in the USA right now... you also shouldn't be trying to cross our border in what is becoming our winter season. \n\nThere are plenty who try, and many do meet a grim fate due to the elements they are just not prepared for. And even if you think you can do it, or prepare enough to do it, you still shouldn't. There isn't much you can do when you have fallen into one of the many sloughs that hide beneath the snow and ice during winter, waiting to make you a popsicle. And if you get out of that, you still have to somehow get warm again. But let's say you avoid that, what then? Well, we have these really cold biting winds that make the -30 temps feel like -40 or worse. But you came prepared, so let's say you can handle that for a bit. Well, you sweat. You will get damp, then wet, over time. Then your fancy clothing doesn't do much for you anymore. Ya dig?\n\nOh but wait, there's more. So we have this wildlife eh', and it likes to do this thing that wild life does... and it eats you. Coyotes are one such kind of wildlife. Bears are another. Both are prolific in certain areas, all the way down to the border in some cases. \n\nGranted, coyotes usually aren't a huge problem for us up here, but that's cause we know how to deal with them usually. Bears are another issue, that even we have problems with at times. You'll probably run into a black bear if you run into one. Grizzlies tend to be further north and to the west. You're gone too far somehow if you find Polar bears. \n\nThere are other critters to mention, but they're more active in the summer, like rattle snakes. (Yes, we have them)\n\nOkay, so you got past the border, and you actually somehow managed to survive the winter temps in your trek to some sort of civilization. Now you have to somehow find a place to live. This is of course assuming you decided to try to bypass all our border security of course. You could go to an embassy and declare asylum I guess. But right now, you're more likely to be given a ticket back to where you came from initially. So that's not something in the game plan for you. What then?\n\nWelcome to being homeless. Oh, and you're still having to deal with our winter temperatures. \n\nSuffice to say, right now is not a good time to be trying to ignore our laws just to do whatever you want. Consider this a fair warning, as this about all the F's I have to give over it all in regards to your safety. I just am dismayed that some of you mouth breathers are going to get your kids harmed because of it all as well.

Now that we know how you Cubans feel. I hope for generations you understand that you have cost yourself millions and billions of potential dollars in tourism for your communities in the future. That’s why the south and Texas will have to cry their own river to deal with what they have created for themselves. The future citizens of the world who look down on Trump and the type of people who vote for him don’t want to come to Florida anymore. We’ll fly all the way to Italy or Africa or the Caribbean. \nSame for other warm states. I could visit them as a wealthier American, but I simply won’t and never will now. That’s okay. \n\nNew York and liberal blue states will always be loved by the world and you all will be looked at as the trash no nothing drop outs who can’t make it in big cities because you’re just not good enough.\n\nIt’s fine to be upset about that, but giving the country over to someone who is cozy with Putin and our enemies? When Russia sits on our national grid again and threatens to turn it off if we don’t follow its demands we’ll see how in control of your country you really are.
