Please don’t say ‘they’. Say ‘Trump’. Most of us don’t want this either…. Most of us understand how stupid this and do not understand the thought process of this dictator that somehow got back into office over here. He is embarrassing, uneducated and will hurt our country with his ridiculous rhetoric, lack of vocabulary and bullying tactics with our allies. It is inconceivable for many of us. I appreciate your every word. I wish you weee our president. Please know ‘We the people’ on both sides of the border are going to hurt from Trump’s stupid unfathomable decisions. I hope you can look through and see past the people here or not on the side of the decisions being made and know that once Trump is out Office, we can establish our ties with you and continue with the friendship we’ve had for so long and create agreements to profit both countries and caused the least of services in the most stability for each other. It’s a shame for what is happening and completely unnecessary.

We (most of the American people) don't want this, either! I call and write to my two Senators and my Congresswoman at least four times a week. Compare Trump and Mr Trudeau purely on their demeanour and the words that they speak. Mr Trudeau has demonstrated here that he is a skilled statesman, he can speak coherently and powerfully. He's not spouting ridiculous insults in the face of Trump's tariffs. He may have fallen out of favour in Canada, but as a British citizen looking in, he stands head and shoulders above Trump and Vance. Thank you for your service Mr Trudeau.

Canada is not America's ally or friend. Ally/friend suggests equal partner. Canada is America's junior partner, a sidekick at the best. Canada blindly signed up for whatever war America was in, regardless of how ridiculous the war was, such as the 2003 invasion of Iraq. There is a simple solution to the trade war: join US as the 51st state and all tariffs will be gone. This is what Trump wants and he is serious.

Don’t forget that this prime minister is the actual reason why Canada is so dependent on US, he’s the reason why Canadian oil was sold to US on discount. The reason why most Canadians can’t afford groceries, why rent is unaffordable, so as real estate. He’s the reason why Canadians are underpaid, and why Canada is underdeveloped, compared to the US. He’s the reason why farmers go out of business because of his ridiculous taxes!

Trudeau is a WEF puppet. A tariff war between Canada and the U.S. is ridiculous to begin with, and it will certainly have negative consequences for the U.S., but much more so for Canada. Let's face it, the U.S. internal market is several times that of Canada. Many businesses in Canada exist only because of their trade with the U.S. The same is not true for the U.S. Trudeau can paint whatever picture he wants to Canadians, but the Trump administration is not made of fools and they are very much aware of the reasons they have for having enforced the tariffs.

Those of us US citizens who didn’t vote for this knew this was going to happen, but others thought they knew better. If you want to see a circus go to the nation’s capital you’ll see a bunch of clowns there most notable two of the biggest clowns of them all. This is just ridiculous
