Just more than a year living here in Canada realizations:\n\n1. So cold. Not everytime you can be so productive because the weather is a big hindrance\n2. As an immigrant, you will start from scratch. There will be great opportunities, sometimes really fast promotions or salary increase but workplaces are always short staffed that the amount of work is not worth it with how much the salary is. \n3. Some people still have preferences and you will really feel discriminated.\n4. People are polite, I am very impressed but so individualistic, it's sad. Growing in a country with a very collective type of community, you will really fee the void once you try living in Canada. you can't fully relate to everyone, be free to talk to them about everything because you rarely have common ground or understanding. I feel bad for the Canadians, its so hard to build relationships here in this country. Some of them might never experienced living that everyone of their schoolmates understand and laughs at the same meme because all of them have the same backgrounds and can relate.\n5. Housing prices are so high, it is so surprising for a country with big land mass but with very few population. Like how can be the house this expensive when winter is long, houses are wood and not stone and groceries, mall and other recreational areas are far?\n\nOverall, it's like a big scam going here in Canada. The biggest thing positive here is how powerful the currency is and the country being part of G7 and neighbor of US. Also it has very well preserved environment, scenic views. Aside those, others you can live without.

Awww, it's so sad to hear u talk this way....... No country is perfect. Higher taxes means we can take care of the less fortunate and.....I can get an operation whenever I need one and it won't take my life savings to pay for it.\nMinimum wage here is much higher than in the US, so if u think having fun is better over there.....go c for yourself......as well has any kind of healthcare and medication.... nevermind when u have to c a Dr and u pay almost nothing.\nExactly what kind of fun r u missing out on living here??? If u have the means to pay for ur fun.....u can have it.\nThe pandemic def made almost everything more expensive......all around the world and it's going to take some time to get caught up again. But there r lots of greedy people everywhere and just want the extra cash so those prices will stay up.\n\nWas life that much better where u came from??? Canada will not keep u here if u want to go elsewhere, but while u r here, please don't trash my country. I'm an immigrant too and happy to be in CANADA, where for the most part, we take care of each other.\n\nI'd like to hear ur podcast on the differences between ur country and this country.......I honestly do. I'm an open minded person but I need an explanation....please....

I haved lived in Ontario Albert and Saskatchewan. My favorite was Albert sad we moved but I'm happy where I live now witch is manitoba. Those many be the facts about Manitoba I love it here winters are not that bad and people here are so friendly you get treated like family and were I live in Manitoba it's like everyone knows everyone to me it's safe and home.

After watching this video, i still want to make my move to canada in the next 1 to 2 years. Because canada is a big upgrade from usa. Im from texas and i hate the hot weather that lasts 11 months of basically summer. and always dreamed about cold cloudy weather instead. Im 21 and im planning to get my education there so it's not really a big problem for me compared to other people who already studied in their home country. Basically life quality is better and i dont have to worry about the sad things that happen here. I love canada and i want to be a proud Canadian.

It's so sad that the US spends so much more on health care than any nation in the world yet we have the worst healthcare in the world and then just up north is Canada who has among the best healthcare in the world and they spend so much less than we do

The sad part was that he was telling her daughter to hold the phone so that he should make her a way to go and was going to clear his vehicle.so sad brother. I think it's her anger issue and does not know how to handle this so she choose his race to abuse him.im not sad that he was racially abused but he was trying to help her but she get him completely wrong and starts mocking his accent?

wow amazing so true this made me sad too ? I came to Canada when I was 9 years old with my father and sister so in some ways I was young so it was easy in a way for me, but as I got older it hit me being Spanish dominican ?? the culture different it's quite obvious, you're absolutely right people stick together in their own Community or culture, and is kind of hard to make friends, I know Spanish people here in Canada Toronto but they seem to stick to themselves and you were to think because I'm also Spanish that would have been easy for me to talk to them, but is not so sadly, without offending anyone Canada is not for anyone, you gotta be strong, Brave, quick, and smart. Credit matter alot here in Canada or you're nobody, having reference matters a lot or you cannot get anything done, the level of education matter alot here in Canada, and many more.. I can go on but there pros and cons like every country, but in all honesty I don't see myself living here forever I'm planning to move.

I had to explain to my handicap sister that has cerebral palsy and walks with a walker that has the basket seat....that when she is shopping even when I am or not with her...not to use her walker basket to hold items she is going to buy. I told her to get a store basket and sit it on top of the seat to store the items she is going to purchase so she will not be accused of shoplifting. Because she also has a speech impediment and many people will be rude And not give her time to explain her situation. It's sad that I had to explain that scenario to her ...but she understands...and always uses the store basket placed on her walker seat.

To be honest, this whole video seems so biased. I couldn't watch it past the 10 minute mark.\n First of all, if the white guy had been the first to tell the manager that he was interested in the apartments, then of course that same manager is going to tell the 2nd person (asian guy) that the availability is limited. He already HAS a potential renter, why would he need more? The 1st guy already chose one of the apartments, so of course the Asian guy would have less options.\nSecondly, and I'm sorry to say this, but statistically there are more black shoplifting cases than with any other race. It's sad, but true. These retailers are just trying to protect their assets, and it's their right.\nThirdly, that lady was in the wrong, for one, because if a security person is asking to inspect your purse on THEIR retail grounds and you have nothing to hide, then why are you being uncooperative? That just makes you look worse.

I wish the United States would face this issue. I've been attacked in a store for unfair, and unfounded suspension. I am treated differently in no less than 75% of stores I go into. The employees stare me down, follow me... I'm going to start filming these people. It's not fair to be harrassed for S.W.B. It's sad, I was born this color, yet I am less than, or just plain bad before I even speak, or act in the minds of many, especially law enforcement. It's sad. It's depressing. It makes everything in life that I do in public, down to using the bathroom, getting to know new people, applying for work, buying food, or just walking down any street, so much harder. Like the world is mad I exist, and the people want me to go away.

Wow this is the first time seeing another race so discriminated other my own .. these are real natives of that country being discriminated.. its interesting that that test reveal that his preference is towards the people who discriminate against him .. it goes to show how conditioning goes a long way ... it's a little sickening and sad

Exactly stupid why the hell would they let them take over this beautiful country there country they can do whatever they want keep that stuff in there country that's why they should have put a border in Europe a wall so they couldn't migrate there now it's to late sad very sad to see this

If the Islamic followers want to be more accepted it would benefit for them to denounce the radical Islamic parts more openly and more often, also even the Christians have tone down or even speak against how some things in the Bible are written and or interpreted and have even fought against groups or individuals who would radicalize things from the Bible.\n\nBut it appears that even the moderate follower of Islamic faith may say something to a non believer just to appear helpful, but while later it seems those moderates talk different when around others of their faith, no longer ready to speak against their teachings or leadership. The groups or individuals I hear talk from the Islamic side of things, like Council on American-Islamic Relations is only the victimhood against Muslims, it seems that the Council avoids asking it's others how to fit into Western or American type culture/ life. Why does it seem that it's the community's etc that needs to change? If I went to Saudi Arabia could I expect the country to change to my standards? If even I went to the Vatican City and Said hey Pope I'm here now so you all need to change to my way of thinking? I truly think that there are some of the Muslim faith who exploit the western society kindness, generosity and laws to further their own goals, and it's a sad situation to be so deceitful.

This is so sad.. I am just blown away at how political this has become. Obama has deported way more people then trump FACT!\n I wish our military would go in Mexico like we did Afghanistanand revamp their government but we can't.\nHonestly the solution is for these people to stay, form together and fight corruption to the death. The problem is not the cartel or murders. The problem is their government, it's corrupt. That to, a FACT!

It's Islamists that are a blood stain on this country where thousands upon thousands of men and women gave their lives for our freedoms and rights but now look at what these people have brought to this beautiful country. It's a lot more negative than positive and its only going to get worse. They've brought grief with them everywhere they migrate to. After this video the good people of Canada have spoken, but who is really listening. It's just a crying shame. Their religion and ideologies are a disgrace not only unto them but unto the human race itself. Where is the goodness of this religion in our society, and where is the respectfulness and productivity when we allow these people into our country. I feel so very sad for this great country's future.
