It used to be known that at certain times during the day, various border crossing points weren’t manned just open. I can almost guarantee that’s not happening anymore. Years ago I was coming home from Montreal and waited for someone to come out and check my paperwork and license, someone heading north shouted over that no one was there until 6 so just go. I shouted back that I thought someone had to check my car and paperwork. The other guy said if you’re not worried about your stuff being checked, just go. I seriously waited weeks to hear something about it, nope, crickets…

There use to be a border patrol show for the Canadian border. I always hated that show because how difficult it was to even enter the country to visit. Very very strick and the agents did their jobs well. What happened to those standards. The illegals wouldn’t be crossing the border if Canada kept those strick standards. Unfortunately, the Indian tourists I've seen in Thailand have shown little respect and dont follow the rules. I saw many times tourists throwing their garbage onto the beach or making a mess and leaving it. I also saw Indian men approaching married women who were with their families and treating them prostitutes, It was disgusting behaviour. If that happened in India, there would be outrage. I believe etiquette must be taught before these types of people are allowed to travel representing your country.

Hi everyone, I'm just going to weigh in some experience here. These people have given up on their government to fix things. They had it good before when Venezuela was wealthy not so long ago. They want that back. Who wouldn't. They want a chance at a better life . They have in most cases already sold all possessions for traveling money and bribes or security. They are scared and tired of traveling. They got told to come to America by someone. I wish we could afford as a country to take them all and it be ok and they build a good life here. I wish it was like that. The system we have needs work for certain. The USA is being overwhelmed by too many coming. We have to slow the roll . But it's a bad situation for all involved. They will look for an illegal way if needed to make it. Hence the cartels step in and offer a way in exchange for money or drug smuggling and the trouble gets worse. There is no simple solution here. When I've gone into Emergency here in Canada, you first check in and then wait for about 10 minutes to go through triage. They ask you why you've come and go over your symptoms. Then you go back and wait again. I've gone in for pneumonia at least twice. Both times I was sent for a quick check of my heart (because one of my symptoms was chest pain). When that came out fine, I was sent back to wait more. After about 20-30- minutes I was called to come into a more interior waiting area. There I just sat and dozed for several hours. Once I was in and out in 3 hours, which was really fast! Generally I count on a minimum of 5-6 hours from entry to exit. But I haven't gone in with life threatening problems. One was an injured knee. I just know that if I have to wait a long time, then I'm probably ok! If I got in too quickly, I'd worry! But there was no charge except to rent crutches one time and for the antibiotics I needed to go and get at the pharmacy. \nMy brother's first child was born a bit early but was very tiny. He had to stay in the hospital for about a month. He was also born by emergency C-section. At the end of all this, my brother said that the biggest expense was their parking bill for visiting so often. That would probably have been about $15 per day.

Many immigrants I know are now realizing that you just can’t come here and live a life while sending money back home. Most of us are living paycheck to paycheck and they are finding out that this is not the land of milk and honey they thought it was. Since I was a kid and i saw people moving abroad and starting the new life, I only saw them going there in a better country to learn, adapt , and respect the laws and locals. We still do things or festival with our community or shared our cultures to create a multi-cultural events. We don’t lose who we are and our ethnic but we don’t bring them and force into new country. We can do our thing with families, in the house, or our embassy. We are welcoming people who wants to know our cultures but not like Indians. Indians are force and likes hey looks at me. This is how we are Indians. I found it’s so disgusting and disrespectful. When you go to live in another country because there are opportunities, you have to give back to them too. I think it depends on the individual . I'm no expert, but if a man or woman is fit to serve, and wants to serve, why limit yourself to just men ? If there were a draft, would you want your son serve because he was made to, or would you want someone that signed up because it's their dream to serve? I'd serve with Cmd. Was all 20 years of “her” service as a transgender, if not, then her case has no ground to stand on, because its even worse for the soldiers around “her” to have to deal with that shit. As a father it is my job to feed and house my family, I was able to do this but there were a lot of times that I just did it and I had nothing else to give. As a Brit I know many decent integrated Indians here. But none of them are recent arrivals. Older immigrants were respectful and wanted to be British and adopt British ways. But newer immigrants act as if we owe them something while acting in disrespectful dirty disgusting ways. For example in India I have to use Indian toilets as Indians do. I don’t pretend I don’t understand how to use them, I don’t need instructions on the door and I don’t break the toilet by standing on it, shytting up the walls and all over the floor and leave it there like that’s normal. I’ve worked in offices where this was routine when Indian contractors were brought in. Integrated Indian men seem to take great pride in dressing smartly and smelling good. But it’s really common for Indians to smell REALLY BAD. Poor personal hygiene plus excessive amounts of Indian food (you’re abroad ffs try some different food!) creates a truly vile odour. Some Indian men also think it acceptable to stare at and harass British girls (although to be fair they do not have as bad a reputation as their neighbours) they are also rude and racist to white people especially women. Some Indians in 2025 still seem to think they’re living under the Raj and Britain is ‘oppressing’ them. They’re not and we’re not. The empire brought benefits to India and left peacefully over 70 YEARS ago. We don’t owe you ANYTHING. This victim mentality means India will NEVER be a proper first world country. You can flood the world with sheer numbers but you will never be respected or improve the world in any way, you will only ever leech off the invention of others. What makes it worse, a lot of these Indians, especially in the prairies, already have their groceries subsidized by federal government, and they STILL abuse the food bank. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

I was in the Missouri when i got sick. I drove home and was diagnosed with a brainstem tumour. 10 hr surgery, 4 surgerical teams, icu, wks hospitalization. Months of rehab and homecare. The school even arranged a cab to take my 5 yr old to school. I have seen bills for pts who didn't make it home and had to have surgery in the US before being repatriated back to the icu i worked. In Canada, we give our pts a regular pillow, some iv morphine and tlc when it hurts when they cough, no fancy cartoon pillow, but no bill either lol. A lot of Indians treat white people really badly. Especially when there is money involved. Something kind of funny, I’ve heard many people say that Indians will often say they will refer tons of friends and family to a business if you give them an unreasonable discount (which they never do once they’ve gotten what they want), but what they don’t realize is that referring a bunch more Indians to them is the last thing that business wants. And really, some of the discounts they want on things are just ridiculous. When I was selling my car a few years ago, I had it listed for $55,000 and I got bombarded by Indians offering $20,000-$25,000 and every lie under the sun of why that’s all it was worth, other people are saying yes to offers like that for the same car, dealerships are selling them for that much and so on. Like come on. And I guess while I’m at it, I hate to say but it’s a common thing here to walk into a gas station and the smell of body odour just hits you like a brick. I’ve stopped going to 3 different stations because of it. I’m sure there’s some pungent white people out there but damn. This is on a whole other level. It literally fills the entire building.

Only the Indian news media and govt says India is rising in power, rest of the world still consider India a third world country. Another thing is when I was in school I had a subject called civic sense, where we were taught about how to behave in public, don't know if that is taught still, if that is not there make it a compulsory subject teach kids from childhood how to behave in public.

I've written similar comments elsewhere that were automatically deleted by the person who posted the video, and I found that disheartening. I first want to address the rumour about human feces and dirty diapers being found on Canadian beaches, and I want to stand up for the people who called out Indians for doing this. Somebody saw something. Maybe they weren't able to produce any legal proof of it, but they clearly saw something, and there is nothing racist about them calling out this behaviour. This practice is not only unhygienic. It is ILLEGAL in Canada; so, it absolutely should be called out publicly to prevent it from ever happening again. I have seen many videos about the culture of mass open defection in India. The videos I saw were posted by Indians themselves. One of those videos was a TEDx talk done by a woman named Sangita Vyas who discussed the truth about open defecation and that it is not limited to only the poor population. Even people who can afford to build latrines are not using them, and she explains why after interviewing Indians to ask why. I've watched Indian doctors talk online about how many Indian children die from something as simple as diarrhea every year as a direct result of the water contamination caused by open defecation. So, clearly, open defecation is legal in India, and perhaps some of these people think if it's legal at home then it must also be legal elsewhere. WRONG. It's illegal in Canada. It's unhygienic. It should never happen. Period. And there is NOTHING racist about a Canadian saying this out loud and reminding people that they must follow the rules and laws of the country they are in.

I was in Toronto months ago and my 10 year old son asked me as we walked a mall if anyone spoke English there. That says it all.

We were military so lived right across Canada, and I can tell you the worst province in Canada is Saskatchewan. I don't have enough thumbs to turn down. The people are Very unfriendly. Think there better than everyone else, and if you need compassion from the police you won't find it there. I was with a group of military wives once and we all had to say the best and worst posting we ever had. Everyone said Saskatchewan was the worst. Nova Scotia and B. C the best. . The rest of the country is great. The Maritime provinces are the friendliest. Retired widow now and live in a small town Ontario. It's very nice here.
