I'm American and yes this will affect me but I honestly hope that Canada brings this country and Maga to its knees!!! I want the pain to be so great that's is never forgotten. If there was anyway I could help Canada I would! Let them feel the consequences of their choices.

I'm just going to clarify something remember when they said Trump had allies with Russia now you see what the Democrats were talking about. Trump always blames democrats for his faults. Trump had you guys convinced not to vote for Democrat. Now are allies don't even want to deal with the US anymore which is understandable because of what the whole nation seen with their own eyes and heard with their own ears. Trump says he wants to make America Great American dream not for Americans maybe for you Republicans I guarantee a lot of Republicans don't agree with him but they all are scared to say anything to Trump and his team which that is disturbing within itself. Trump needs to be impeached he's causing to much chaos and still getting away with people's lives in real life situations this is not a joke. As for JD Vance his vice president he was laughing and asking Zelenskyy why was he not wear a suit what about Elon musk he wasn't wearing a suit? And when you ask another person to come from another country to the White House they are dressed in their traditional clothing to be mocked by these men is despicable. Real people lost their jobs, real people are dying that need aid,for them to shut down the military aid was a slap in the face,mind you they sit back and laugh about it.. Russia is the last person Trump should be nice Putin is not on the US side it's obvious but Trump laughs with him, communicate better with Putin which is disturbing as well. Having the power and money makes people so entwined into their own world,Trump should think about Americans first and not act like a disrespectful person he ruined his chance not Zelenskyy. Now We the people are looking at our President and vice President like the are unhinged, disrespectful, uncompassionate, and down right rude. Kamala,Tim warned everyone Barak, Michelle, Biden did also y'all should have listened. I voted for Kamala and Tim. If Trump wants peace he needs to stop with all the madness and focus fixing the US.

I really believe that it just comes down to Trump feeling resentment that he will never be part of a perceived 'inner circle' of establishment world leaders. It's probably over that one time when they were caught on a hot mic dissing him with Trudeau kind of leading the pack. Over the years Trump has shown over and over again that he is that petty and all of his decisions have an absolutely childish basis, yet the American people voted him in a second time. I've run out of patience with the American people too. They're not really doing anything about this except saying online that they support Canada just so they can feel a little better about themselves. If you guys want a dumpy predator for president that's your business but I will be doing my part to fight him and his unjust attacks against my country.

How could Trump and his thugs attack President Zelensky ?? on live T.V. for the world ? to see how disrespectful, cruel, a total lack of compassion for a president who has had his country destroyed he's losing his people and that shirt President Zelensky was wearing was from a young girl back in Ukraine the U.S. ?? played Judge, Jury and executioner on live T.V. They are punishing President Zelensky for absolutely no reason by stalling aid to Ukraine his people are being slaughtered and they want Ukraine to give up territory and that's not acceptable under any circumstances Trump is trying to force President Zelensky ?? into a deal with Russia ?? by stalling aid. So let's punish people in a country that has been destroyed even more to force them into a deal with Russia ?? that would require Ukraine to give up territory absolutely not! Ukraine must remain in tact and return to its former glory ?? the United States of America ?? can no longer be trusted especially if they attacked their closest allies and insulted us continually did WW1 and WW2 mean absolutely nothing to the U.S.?? when Iran ?? took American hostages Canadians ?? worked tirelessly to devise a plan to get them back to the U.S. and succeeded in doing Just that the Canadians brought back the Americans safely. When 9/11 happened and Canada ?? took on thousands of passengers in Gander Newfoundland Canada ?? we opened our airspace and landed each and every one of them safely then when Americans couldn't get their medication, Gander gave it to them free of charge when Americans went shopping for clothes the stores gave it to them free of charge everything they needed was provided free of charge they were fed housed offered compassion and opened their homes so Americans could shower and clean up. So Canadians has always been there for the U.S.?? and this is how Canada ?? is repaid for its sacrifices made during both wars and other historical events that involved both countries ????? So if the world ? sees the U.S. attacking it closest allie for no reason and insulting Canada ?? at every turn and spreading complete lies about Canadians saying we want to be the 51 St State! No Canadians want that I can tell you, not for anything or any amount of Gold or currency would Canadians want to be part of the U.S.?? we'll the world ? has seen the 2 faces of the United States ?? now and you can bet the confidence in all aspects in that country will plummet! I am American independent voter who vote against Treasonous Trump this past election of 2024 in favor of Kamala Harris. While many of my fellow Americans voted for Trump many others like me did not. Now so many good and event Americans are going to suffer because of many Maga or Maga supporting Americans who foolishly chose to support Trump and his lies. Any pain and suffering Anti Trump supporting Americans, along international American Allies and theuir people, suffer will be squarely on the shoulders of Maga and Maga supporting Americans.\n\nHow Trumps first term wasn’t a wake up call and eye opener to how terrible he was and is as president is beyond me. He, treasonous Trump, did nothing to help our economy which essentially stalled or went into generally neutral state with essentially no growth positively or negatively, followed by a near complete nose dive due to Treasonous Trump’s poor handling and equally poor response to the Covid-!9 Pandemic. How people could seemed to forget that Treasonous Trump, not Joe Biden, was responsible for the current sate of things following the pandemic is beyond me. \n\nMaga and Maga supporting Americans have been conned again by Treasonous Trump, who not only failed to properly respond to the Covid pandemic but also incited and or encouraged many of Maga supporters to essentially attack the US Capitol in hopes of stopping Joe Biden’s Presidential Certification. Those in the Inter national world are not alone in their condemnation of the disgrace and embarrassment that sis current US President Trump. True Americans who believe in our constitution and rule of law as decreed by the founding fathers of our nation must unfortunately bare part of the shame Maga America has brought upon our country as a whole.Truly good and decent Americans must bare the shame of now living in a country that much International world now no longer trusts and has lost respect for. The US isn't launching a trade war against anyone. We are closing up shop and are getting ready to take care of our own. There is a massive difference. We cannot be expected to continue supporting other countries economies and defense obligations, when we have 2 generations of working class citizens unable to afford a home or have children. We have entire countries we could fill with the homeless and incarcerated, and veterans who see little to no positive treatment or respect within the job market. Things are already very very bad here in the states. I don't think many Americans realize how bad the economy is. Tariffs will force US companies to reduce the outsourcing of jobs, and force other countries who are over-reliant on trade from the States, to cultivate their own self-sufficiency. This may seem hypocritical when it comes to China, but that isn't a problem you can solve overnight. \n\nTo make it clear, Americans are going to suffer in the wake of this tariff decision, but that is the price we pay to force ourselves to change. We have made ourselves into a very weak country because of overreliance on other countries trade, and other countries overreliance on our intelligence, infrastructure, medical advancements, technological advancements, and defense capabilities. The american consumer and taxpayer front the bills for all of this, and they are suffering. This isn't a war on the rest of the world. It us telling everyone else that we can no longer be relied upon because we are weak. \n\nI didnt' even vote Trump the first two times he ran. But things have now gotten so bad that I was forced into voting for him this time. Why? Because he's a bull in a china shop. I expect him to tear every damn thing apart he can within our government. I want everything destroyed so it can be rebuilt by people who aren't complacent.

Trump is a horrible, horrible human. I am devastated over what he is doing. I've never once given Trump my vote and I'm not a lefty liberal. I knew if he was voted in he was going to cause world wide chaos. He has shown his character over and over and over...yet a large portion of American's just ignored it. This election wasn't about republicans or democrats or independents. This election was about humanity and global security. American's ignored the writing on the wall for their own singular wants/opinions. They stand with their Trump flags but only a few of them can actually explain any accurate information about his policy or legal issues and they condone his behavior. The majority of Trumpers claim to be 'Christians'. Christians voting for a man who is a bully, abuser, liar, predator, monger of power, impedes freedom of press and speech and aligns himself with a dictator. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Or is it because you are so short sighted that you can't even see the valuable contribution that non American born people provide this country. Yes, Biden fell asleep at the wheel. Yet many of you still believed the better choice was a psychopath. This election was important. We failed as a country by putting this man in office. No matter what party you align with, we failed. Yes, I want cheaper eggs. Yes, I really need cheaper groceries. But not over the safety of the globe. Not over the lives of the people and children being killed in an unprovoked war. Not over the safety of Europe. Not over ripping off our closest and favorite country that borders us. Not over losing our democracy and our allies. I stand with Ukraine, Canada, Mexico and Europe and the Gulf of Mexico. You should ask yourself what you really stand for.

I want out of this country, I'm watching my retirement lose money. I don't want to be in a trade war, I'm going to have to close my newly opened buisness. I did not vote for this administration, so many of us didn't. I'm sorry world.

Children?! And I want to ask you a question: will you be a silent bystander watching the world plummet into the hatred, redivisions of borders and the rule of heartless convicted “deal makers”? Now with 20% tariffs on China , the iPhone full import price $700 (sale price). is taxed(tariffs) x 20% = $140. Trump wants 20% corporate rate extended and ultimate 15% corporate rate. Most all the overseas US mfg might come home to moma. \nI would advise Trump to selectively wave tariffs on some items like lumber from Canada and food from mexico. As for oil from Canada I think Trump will let Chevron develop and buy heavy oil from Venezuela. If not might have to wave/reduce tariffs on Canadian diluted bitumen oil.

I really want to be a part of Canada. They have the most educated culture and the largest middle class in the world right now. And I respect them as a people. Damn in America, what the hell is wrong with us? Our people are so ignorant that we think that the Richard just took over who very clearly have been doing as harm for 50 years are going to solve our problems by alienating us from the world and costing us more money?
