What's it about? It's about money. It's about a gangster family in the Whitehouse, and oligarchs in the administration, all trying to make as much money as possible. There's no other explanation possible. That's the only explanation that comes close to making any sense. Now more than ever, even if these tariffs are short-lived, Canada needs to move away from U.S. trade. This is necessary for the long term survival and prosperity of Canada. We need to make every effort to increase trade with the pacific rim, Europe and South America. There may be some short-term pain, but it has to happen. Given the events of the last few years in the U.S., Canadians have to realize that things can get even worse, and will likely never be the same. There is very little reason to believe that the ties Canada has had with the U.S. will ever be what they were, or indeed any reason to believe that that is even desirable now.

I never ever was on the Trump train. I am an American Citizen and I think he is deranged. I hope those that voted for him are starting to pick up on his madness after these past few weeks. Also Canada has been subsidizing their lumber mills for years, not charging them for The timber so they have an unfair advantage. Maybe building a Boarder Wall on America's Northern Boarder would be a good idea. Canada is responsible to guard our boarders and allow in only those who we feel qualify.
