Born here too and yes Canada has changed for the worst I'm not racist either but I do notice there is less jobs and less homes and dirt messy places too! Like Vancouver not the island even Burnaby has changed it uses to be peaceful and now it's full of crime and I was born there! I no longer live there and everything has changed my old home gone😢 the beautiful trees gone😢 and like you said the issue with the price hike freaking killing us on disability, my family all adults have to buy noodles which if you have heartburn issues is a no no but it's cheap and the 1 thing we can afford but iits cause us to need the doctor to give us medication for heartburn. The good food like rice is almost 3 dollars a bag in knorrs that gives you 1 meal.. we can't afford that, hence why we go to snack isle because you could get a 3 dollar snack that will last you way longer than the other.. I'm always worrying.

Excellent video my friend! I am first Nations. Aboriginal. My family has been in Canada for approximately 500 to 700 generations give or take. Which is about 5000 or 10,000 years. I am Inuit. I believe that it will get to a point where Canadians will not be passive anymore. There is going to be a breaking point and I don't know when that will be. But I do believe Canadians are strong enough and they will not allow it to get to a certain point after that breaking point. I can already see the tensions happening. I can already see the uneasiness of Canadians and it's bound to hit a boiling point. Just in the past 10 years I have watched my country morph into something that's almost unrecognizable.

I worked since I was 14, (A lot of times evenings and weekends, several times, two jobs)! I am now 63, I got hurt at work! First I had to fight compensation for a year, ZERO $$$! Then I had to apply to get Disability Canada Pension because I can't physically work anymore.. (damaged back, head injury, I have to use a cane and knee braces to walk)! I spent my savings just surviving while being forced to fight for MY money from my own government for 5 years just to get a measly $300. a month! THAT'S IT! Luckily my spouse works , we paid off our house ten years ago! But, we still barely get by! Every person I speak to about my case with the government on the phone, can barely speak English and yell at me or are VERY impatient with me, because I can't understand THEM, they usually hang up! When I ask to please speak to someone IN Canada, they hang up, then I have to wait another hour to talk to someone else! (I went to 4 government funded agencies to see if I could possibly get a job working from home, because I have trouble getting out! All sent me somewhere else! One agency who is supposed to help disabled people in WPG, REES, the agent refused to talk to me or look me in the eye, * he got a supervisor to talk to me! Because he's Muslim and I'm Gay! They were continuously hostile/aggressive towards me without reason??? I volunteer at 2 different food banks , I've met TONS of people who have never worked a day in their lives, their family, parents, grandparents have never worked... EVER! Yet they have brand new trucks??? Still go to food banks? AND, several new Canadians who I've met, have never worked a day in Canada... Some with new cars??? Yet everyone else receives 10 times what I receive to live on??? I PAID TAXES ALL OF MY LIFE! We can't afford a car! Yet... I don't blame them! I would take it they offered! I blame our government (NDP, Libs, AND CONservatives) who don't give a crap about disabled and seniors in Canada! Or if you paid taxes all of your life , into a system that's supposed to help when you need it! ALL politicians in Canada just whore out their votes! I've volunteered for almost 40 years, also holding down jobs, helping others, I've never seen so may seniors and disabled people forced to access food banks and soup kitchens than the last few years! EVER! Disabled people have to constantly prove they are disabled enough to get kitchen scraps from sociopathic politicians who are over paid and under worked! Fees go up, taxes go up, housing goes up, property taxes go up, bus fairs go up, etc.. Services go WAY down! We can afford trillion$ in corporate welfare, but not help our own? Seniors can't afford to live in their homes anymore! YOU'RE WELCOME for paying for YOUR golden pensions pig politicians, and NOT helping us when we need it! POS!

I'm a born and raised Canadian, as well as my husband. Even before our country was completely taken over, employment was hard to come by because of the fw's. 8 years ago, my husband had enough with trying to find a job, he stopped counting at over 450 resumes that were ignored, so he decided that we should start our own company, a small delivery company that 2 years later, we added a safe ride service to (driving drunk people home in their own vehicle). I was the manager of a little pizza place, which was run by immigrants, but good ones. I was hired because my husband approached them about doing deliveries, and they wanted to meet me. I had no idea I was going for an interview but they begged me to work for them, their reason; although they could speak English, they weren't fluent in it, so they wanted an English speaking employee who could easily understand the customer's. Within days, I was promoted to manager, and I loved my job and all of them. They treated everyone with such kindness and generosity. I found out just how much support they got from our government, when I broke down one day because I couldn't afford my prescription. My boss was so confused because he and his family got free prescriptions, dental, eye care, etc and they thought everyone got that. My boss paid for my prescription and actually apologized to me for how our own government treated us. He also showed me that they get $2,500 every 2 weeks, funding to start or buy businesses, but if they don't hire other fw's or immigrants, that funding changes to a grant and they have to pay it back. They are given money for housing, and vehicles. He was pushed out of that business by his 2 partners, and the partner's promised him I would keep my job. That was a complete lie. They stopped putting me on the schedule, claiming financial problems (bs), but hired not one but two new full time immigrant employees. I lost it and quit. Our town isn't that big, and word spread fast, especially when everyone found out that I was still owed over $2,000, which I will never see because no government agency will help me. Their business is actually struggling now and I love that for them. As for my husband and I's business, it's going strong but I came unglued when we recieved a letter from the government "suggesting" that we hire immigrants. I wrote back, telling them in no uncertain terms would that ever happen, and it will be a cold day in hell when one of us steps back so one of the government's favored people can take that money from us because we are the only 2 employees and we're not sacrificing a damn thing for someone who already gets everything.

(This can be viewed as assumptions but it's factual) Was at a A&W last night me and my fiancee were the only Canadians there... went to Walmart after.... Now sure I wasn't in every part of Walmart but I only seen one actual Canadian born worker... Sure it can be said it's assumption on my part but I am confident with my assumption based on what I saw. Our public transportation ( bus ) there's only 4 Canadians left. Now our busses speed, don't give time for people to get on safely.... accidents almost daily. And from what I heard there has to be a shuttle bus on standby because the new drivers just make false claims of accidents and issues so shuttle has to come and pick up the people on the bus to finish the route. Our rental market is far and thin. Our homeless is Canadians NOT foreign. And we are seeking illicit activities and mind altering chemicals to deal with the stress of life more and more each day. Concerns me my son and daughter have to grow up like this. I fear for them and their future in a country that I once believed in. I'm not racist I try my best to treat everyone fairly and equally. But Canada is changing and it's causing great impact we can't handle.

Now that you’re here, you refuse to integrate with this country’s rules and way of life. You bring your religion with you and that fine BUT, practice it in your places of worship and not force it down our throats. If I was there and seen them blocking roads or gathering like this, I would throw my jingle dress on and pray to god and jesus and then take my drum and start singing my first nations music 🎶 super loudly and get all my brother's and sister's to join. Enough is enough. I lost my job to corporate restructuring and running out of ei now, and I am beyond pissed off! All the years worked and contributing to my ei insurance, should equal how many months of ei i should actually be eligible for, but nope, its only for a certain amount of weeks according to their unemployment rate, which is severely flawed, because how can their unemployment rate remain unchanged for so many years, when you hear of thousands losing their jobs. We are being lied to and deceived, and I am sick and tired of it and me and some of my family members have even contemplated changing our names to an indian name, just to get a job!!! That's when you know it's a serious problem! Immigrants need to go back to their own country! Our families are suffering, especially our youth and children! And I am so worried for my daughter's and granddaughter's. Their belief system isn't kind to us females.

My grandfather fought in wwII. It's sad but I'm so happy he is not here to see what has become of this country he fought and risked his life for. Its so pathetic . India is not our #1 culture here in Canada, I hate calling a store & the person on the other end can not speak english, it's the most frustrating thing. My g/f daughter applied @ a tim Horton's & get this one, do you speak Punjabi-honest to god - enough. Subway, 7-11's, gas stations, Value Village etc. everywhere you turn. They can be rude no not all but again if I have to ask you 3 times the same question because I do not understand your answer - we have a problem. Here's the root of most of the problems, its gov. policy, you take in a million new people a year, give them everything and your dollar ends up losing value, so even though your working hard, you cannot get ahead in this country. So you end up going into a debt that you can't pay off and the problems increase. Taxes go up value of the dollar keeps going down, so in the end its a no win situation for most of the general population and its the same when you retire, you get an income that's not enough even to pay for rent in the city you were brought up in. This is a very serious problem and gov. does not seem to do anything about it, food banks are overwhelmed along with medical staff, food prices and rents have gone out of sight as far as prices are concerned. We have a national debt that never gets paid and a gov. that spends more money than it takes in in taxes. And a dollar thats going to H in a handbasket. Too much crime, too much violence, too many traffic jams and too much drug use. I have written to this liberal gov. and told them how to fix these problems but they don't listen, their agenda is with the WEF, you will have nothing and you will be happy, right, no. Canada is now a bankrupt country and going to a third world status, I guess you get what you vote for and I did not vote for this gov. to ruin the country. Hey note that this is just the start, its going to get a whole lot worse down the road as we all suffer another great depression, then things really get bad.

As a multi-generational, born-and-raised Canadian citizen. Recently, I have been unemployed for 1 year and 2 months, which is the longest I have ever gone without a job in my entire life. My EI has run out, and during this stressful time, I have only had 4 actual interviews with real human beings. I am also a caregiver for both of my parents, and working remotely has been my profession for the last 7 years. Remote work allows me to both care for them and bring in a full-time income. Despite having 30 years of customer service experience, I find myself being overlooked. Many companies now use AI to prescreen resumes, so if your resume isn’t ATS-friendly, it often never gets seen by a human. Even if you make it past that stage, there are endless AI-driven assessments before you even have a chance to speak with someone. And when you finally do, it’s often yet another layer of screening rather than a real interview. I know I bring value — I consistently receive compliments from customers across cultures for speaking clearly, precisely, and making their experience enjoyable. Yet I find myself competing with younger candidates who can work longer hours, or new immigrants that companies often prioritize, sometimes with government incentives. At 55, I feel like I’m being overlooked despite my proven skills and professionalism. Right now, I live with my retired parents and should be caring for them. Instead, my father is helping me pay my bills so I don’t ruin the credit I worked so hard to build. If I don’t secure a job soon, I fear I’ll lose everything else I’ve managed to hold onto. The stress is overwhelming — I cry daily, and on top of everything, I also face health issues of my own, but I have no space to focus on them because survival takes priority. Canada today feels very different from the country I grew up in. Since the pandemic, things have become harder in every way — jobs, housing, and simply living. Even if I manage to secure work, rent alone now takes up nearly 75% of what I’d earn, not even including other basic bills. It’s disheartening to feel like no matter how hard I push, I can’t get ahead.

I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. Why should I (and other's like me) be crucified with the sins of other immigrants? It's like hating all your neighbors in a burning building, when the management has been lighting the fire.

Um so tired of going to a store all immigrants working. Make a phone call it's answered by an immigrant. You can't understand them . I love on ccpd I don't get old age pension yet. I'm too old to get the child tax credit and I'm on a Canada pension disability. I get 713.00 a min to live on. Period. That's it. 😢😢😢 I struggle every day. I live in a seniors housing complex..so my rent is adjusted to fit my income. Thank God for housing I'd be homeless if it wasn't for them. 😢😢 But the immigrants have money. Have jobs. Drive new cars. Get free rent for a year. I waited 9.5 hours at the emergency😢😢 not the Indians they have Indian drs that work there for them. How in the hell is this ok. I ended up leaving the emergency I couldn't wait any longer. I sat there in pain all that time and two Indian families came in during that time and within 20 min at the most they were in and out. They even have an advertisement in the emergency room in their language with all the Indian drs working there. Wtf is going on. I'm tired of seeing these people. They are opening businesses here. Everything you see now is written in English, French and Indian. They call it our third language now. There are building going up that have only immigrants in them. A d I live in a small town but the city. Come on. They stopped saying the Lord's prayer in schools. They can't say Merry Christmas. Christmas concerts are called Holliday concerts now. Our kids don't know the national a them they stopped that. They don't know the Lord's prayer they stopped that. The schools are changed to not make other nationalities feel bad. They get their Holliday's off and our Holliday's off..why? We don't get their off. Yeah I'm just a plain white person who lived in Canada all my life. 64 years. I've never seen this in my days. Never. Everything is destroyed. This feels like India 😢😢😢. We have to stop this. They need to leave. They are not here because of war or danger for their lives. They are here to take the jobs, take over our culture and country. Now we have to be careful what we say or were called racist. I'm white I lived in the hood all my life. With black people. I don't hate the immigrants themselves, but the way our country handles immigration. I'll be the first to admit it's getting harder to keep those two things separate. What compounds that hate is since I've been looking at moving out of this country... it's disheartening that most countries (rightfully so) make you have to be able to both assimilate and afford to fend for yourself to get a immigrants visa. And I guess Canada isn't enough of a shithole to get refugee status... yet. Like many Canadians now, I'm living cheque to cheque to make ends meet. So not only do I hate it here, but am essentially trapped. Next time you want to get pissed off at an immigrant, save it for a Liberal. It's a good chance he/she will be one in the same anyways.

I am so happy people are starting to speak up. Sadly, I am changing. I am becoming angry. Angry at immigrants and the system. Am I becoming racist? Or just so lost at how things seem so wrong. My main upset is for my teen son. Turned 16 after Christmas. So excited about looking for a part-time job, earning some money, getting experiences and (unbeknownst to him ) expanding his social circle. This excitement came from me. LIke all us Canadians who remember our first part-time jobs (mine was at a McDonalds), I regaled my son in stories of that first part-time job. How much I learned from it, and the so many benefits it would have for me as I got older. He listened, and couldn't wait to turn 16. Also, like most parents, I raised him on the benefits of working hard in school, getting good grades, learning, getting involved, etc. Do these things son, and you will have a good future. He listened. Honours student all his life. Played on school teams. Performed in talent shows, Volunteered his time, etc., etc. Not a bad resume for a first time teen seeking a job. It is now heading into September. He has applied at all the traditional teen job hotspots, (all the fast food joints, grocery stores, drug stores, etc). Dozens of resumes, online and in-person applications. Not a single response. Then I walk into the local Burger King. Not a single Caucasian, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, or Far Eastern employee. All East Indian (or Pakistani). Suddenly I am really noticing this trend everywhere, especially in the franchise fast food industry; especially upsetting when I even see it in a Harvey's (even more Canadian than Timmies). It's either East Indians or Arabs. I don't know for how long I have been hearing about diversity and fair hiring practices (which I have always supported); but to see this trend makes me furious. Are the owners of these franchise exempt from fair hiring practices? Are they not taught we are a diverse country? This is wrong. I want to finish with two sad situations which we should all be concerned about. When my eldest was looking for part-time work after the pandemic, he walked into a Mr. Submarine. He asked if he could leave his resume or fill out an application. The Arab cashier told him in broken English they were not hiring. As he was walking out, a young Arab man walked in. He approached the same cashier and asked for an application. She gave him one. WTF. My last comment, is the most concerning of all. My 16 year old, who works so hard at school, and at everything he does, recently commented, after yet another non-reply after handing out a slew of resumes, "Dad... what's the use of working so hard if I can't even get a job at McDonalds." I wonder how many other Canadian teens are feeling the same way. Not just white teens. Black, Hispanic, Indigenous and East Asian teens. Seems the broken English East Indian and Arab teens and young adults aren't asking themselves that. How long until my son thinks I am just spewing BS about this hard work thing? This is not about racism. This is about fair hiring practices, especially in more and more franchises; however, I do find myself listening to more and more of these videos, and find myself developing sucb negative feelings towards these two cultures. This is not Canadian. To be thinking this way, especially, is not Canadian. What do we do? Speak up, and we are racist. Stay quiet, and our teen kids move into adulthood without job experience, money put away, or just having a life experience that any of us over 30 (no matter our race) experienced. Something has to change; but I haven't a clue how to do that.

Healthcare in Canada is only a promise, the reality is the wait-list, every step of the way. I took a 17-month wait for a mri and cut it down to 17 hours, cutting a multi-year process down to 6 days. To get a mri in Canada is not easy there are only a smattering of private options if you want to pay, but you still have to wait 3 weeks, and it will cost $3500. I said screw it, bought a plane ticket, flew to Bangkok arriving on a Saturday, saw a doctor on Sunday, had a mri on Monday, and got the results on Friday. Then I spent the next week sitting on a beach. The total cost all in was $1900. I am not fussy, I'll accept any hospital in any country that will accept me.

I became homeless after spending over 2 months in the ICU of a Toronto hospital barely walking in was taken to a Toronto city shelter and for 5 years I've been in 5 different Toronto shelters in what seemed like a blink of a eye every shelter became 80% north African Muslim men ,they were given cash allowances to buy their own food $80 a day plus welfare cheques once a month boosted up with TTC allowance $157 clothing allowances and yes they were all given money to buy laptops and smart phones apparently so they can keep in touch with their families back in Africa, in the last shelter I stayed in there was only 6 white Canadian born homeless people living there and 94 north Africans whom we started to notice were being housed only to have the next one take up their cott space housed yes and when we started looking into how they were getting housed so fast when we were apparently on a 37,000 name waiting list for housing with our housing workers telling us it will take 10 years if we are lucky then we found out about the secret housing program that these fresh off the boat immigrants were getting market value apartments of their choice you pick the government pays one African we befriended ( he wasn't a believer in Islam shush or they'll kill him) got a 1 bedroom condo apartment over looking Toronto's Island airport $2,700 a month and the government payed for all his furnishings, so now we knew and we approached the on site housing workers asking why we weren't told about COHB at first they tried to deny it existed but researching we had all the information first these COHB forms were to be handed out to those with seniority length of stay so as to cut out on abuse being that they are worth over $250,000 after ten years of paying your rent as in free housing for life , then we discovered the staff were making false entries on our files claiming some of us lost our seniority for fighting claiming we were kicked out for 14 days others for smoking violations what they didn't think we knew was on admission to any shelter you sign a agreement that they are videoing you and keeping a file on you that also stated we are allowed to have up to date copies of our files then during the 2 weeks we were supposedly kicked out we asked for the videos from that period once they realized we had a advocate working for us who a l so supplies lawyers to us should we need so they got caught then management called us all up for a meeting and that's when we hit him with a bombshell yes the shelters are staffed with immigrants from the same African countries this Hoard is coming from and we have a sworn statement saying they are charging $10,000 for these guaranteed housing forms yes $10,000 that's what our none Muslim African shelter friend payed for his form and why he's now living free in easily close to a million dollar condo and believe me the cars parked there show it, ok so after we busted them guess what 6 whites who were all born in Canada and have lived a average of 3.5 years in a shelter all got housed in apartments of our choosing mind we did get ours fully furnished by the government like all these illegal Christian hating islamists get free housing free food free clothing free medical free dental free prescription drugs and a free huge monthly welfare cheque Rebel news please contact us we want every Canadian to know what's going on and how we Canadians are being left out, p.s just go to any money transfer business at the end of the month and you'll see line ups of these north Africans wiring money back to their wives and families even boxing up all the mountains of free clothing sending it to Africa same what they're doing with all the prescription drugs they are getting for free everything is about making money taking taking taking not putting anything back , now I sleep soundly no one stealing my belongings no more catching a different cold every week no more being called a filthy infidel which seems to be their favorite word COHB look that up and if your living paycheck to paycheck working 2 jobs just get to a shelter say one with 94 Africans who will all be housed shortly leaving you the most seniority easy peasy but remember to keep a eye on your file for false entries or borrow $10,000 to buy one

As you can tell from my name I am an immigrant from India. Been in this part of the world for almost 40 years. Educated from kindergarten with English as medium of instruction, a post graduate degree, in IT - one of the first things I did was watch, listen and learn how things are done here. Quickly acquired accent neutrality. Please and thank you . Not litter every where. I came here on my own. Nobody requested me to come here. I considered it a privilege and I took it as my obligation to integrate, not import my values or culture here. I worked, paid my taxes and never expected a handout from anybody or from the government. I loved to be the brown dot in a sea of white. I loved my new country. After the pandemic years, things have changed. There has been a sudden browning of Canada. I didn't leave India 40 odd years ago for India to come to me. NO, I am not being racist and it is not just the visual browning either. The loud, non English speaking, profusely littering, rude, entitlement-minded, anti-social, riffraff that seem to have found their way here displacing the native, white Canadians. I so miss the "eh". I miss the polite society. Wherever I go, I see a sea of immigrants speaking their own tongue. Rude, misbehaved. Cutting you off in line. Discarding the shopping cart any where they please. I am getting older every year and I do not want to die in a country that is suddenly so foreign to me. I would love my old Canada back, please. I want my "eh"s back please. I did my part in the last elections, but lost out to "them". Are we at a point, where we can never get the old Canada back??????

I agree with over percent with what the white women said at th e beginning.. The part that she actually does have to hear and accept is the truth..Her ancestors were and are colonizers, those are basic truths.. But the Government must turn the taps down on immigration right away, it is totally out of control.. Things are at the point where no one Zero more immigrants from India and Pakistan should be allowed to enter the country, for at least the next few years , until the government can get a true handle on things.. I really don't think the government officials have any idea of the pace at which Canada is rapidly changing.. It is mind boggling the rapid changes and that's from every single nook and cranny of this once beautiful country you will see new immigrants.. There are places i went to as a child with my folks, where you would never have seen nothing but white people, maybe a few native people, a couple of black and oriental folks and that was it.. Now there are car loads of east Indians running around some actually living in those communities.. I am not a racist person, but that's my own observation on the ground.. I think every single Canadian in this country would have the exact reaction..

My Granparents, parents, settled the homestead in 1896 near Rossland BC. How it used to work, how things are supposed to work, is the Government serves the needs and demands of the people. The people don't serve the Government nor any Corporation or Public/Private Partnership. This means that the Government doesn't prevent people from doing what they do and they don't use force to extort the fruit of everyone's labor to the point of enslavement. In 1896 and throughout my Grandfather's life from 1902 to 1976, one would do for themselves if they weren't working for someone else. In other words, you found something needed be done, something the community around you required or was lacking, you opened shop and got after it. You can't work today because you require licensing for everything, you require permission for everything, everything is regulated. People have it in their minds that it's so much better today then it was then, that it's "safer". But it's not, that's a lie. My family, although never wealthy, ate good food, always had a roof over their heads, plenty of family around and always had something to do or at least could always find something to work at. Most importantly, they always had hope because they had freedom. No one has any hope anymore and the people coming here aren't just bringing their culture to overtake our culture, they are coming with anger. With envy, resentment and malice. My family didn't come here with those things, they came to Canada with hope and determination to integrate and prosper with freedom. The other side of my family fled Bolshevism when they left Russia and came here and that side had the exact same hope in freedom to work hard and prosper. Now all generational wealth, freedom, prosperity and hope is all but completely stolen. We don't need more regulations. We don't need more benefits. We don't need more Government. We need less, we need it all to go away because I know for a fact, you give people the freedom to go about their lives, the society or community they form, always tends towards peaceful, prosperous organization. You give people the freedom to build and produce and they'll get after it immediately and that opens the door for all other manner of trades and skills that just fill any hole in a community or society. And that's a fact about the organizational tendencies of human beings. There's nothing stopping us from providing for ourselves but a cartel Government in the business of extortion and human enslavement. They foment chaos and division in order to justify the revoking of more freedoms to enslave more people. People themselves, they look to get along, get to work, raise families and, as best they can, enjoy life. Once we start expecting a Government to take care of us we've institutionalized prisoners who have lost all human dignity. When you "buy in" to all the rhetoric of so called autonomy, ask yourself, how autonomous are you without a family? Just because you're alone in a box in a city, stacked one on top of the other, weighted down by a landslide of rules, collecting benefits from the Government, doesn't make you autonomous. People say, "no one can afford a family". Yet those coming in have large families and they seem to be making out just fine. It's the brainwashing of our culture that set us up. Over time we've convinced the proper way to do things is everyone to grow up and go their own way, leaving each other relying on benefits from the government in old age or illness or whatever calamity might strike in life. There's always something that comes along. With family you have human resource, a plethora of skills and you have your "insurance", free of extortion. Everything that comes from a government is conditional and sooner or later their conditions rule over our condition, even though it's our labor that provides for them. The answer isn't more benefits, as I've said. The answer is simply less government, so we can all get to the business of providing for ourselves and helping our communities prosper. We need to do this with family because alone, we are all isolated and powerless. No one stands alone and a house divided cannot stand.

The sad reality is that if our government wasn't taxing our young Canadians to death from the moment they get started at attempting to build a future for themselves, the young Canadians would actually be putting thought into having children and starting families. But the reality is they can't afford it and everyone knows that our young Canadians don't make the list of government handouts. As a child immigrant to Canada, I am absolutely disgusted with what we've turned into and how easy it is for today's immigrants to come here, it's like spitting in the faces of immigrants like my parents and many others who had to work their asses off to be here and make a life for themselves and their kids. Every older generation immigrant I have spoken with says they feel like all of their sacrifice was for nothing. When we immigrated here, we kept our traditions, but we also embraced Canadian traditions and I passed our traditions onto my child, but she was raised Canadian and she embraces both. Our whole family has been proudly Canadian since the day we came here and it breaks our hearts to see what our Canada has become. I’ve lived in Canada for 30 years, but I became unemployed in 2021. This is the first time I’ve been out of work for more than a year and a half. I’ve applied online for over 20 jobs, but unfortunately I haven’t received any responses. This has never happened to me before. When I first came to Canada, it felt very safe—you could even leave your door unlocked at night. Things have changed a lot since then. Nowadays, there are many new immigrants and refugees, which has also changed the job market. I’ve noticed that many companies prefer hiring workers with student visas, because the government subsidizes part of their wages. That makes it more cost-effective for companies compared to hiring Canadian workers. I heard this directly from my former manager. As a result, some of my old colleagues now only get one or two days of work per week, while companies continue bringing in new employees.

Canada is literally being invaded. Hey dont get me wrong , I believe in immigration but the right immigration. I'm pretty much exactly where that lady in the car is at. Enough to make rent, pay my monthly cell phone bill, and internet, but the rest? Not enough for food, no emergency funds if something breaks or needs replacing, etc. Can't even save and put money away. I sat down and balanced my budget, looking at what I could keep or toss. Figured out what to do for cheapening food costs as much as I could (without doing food bank), and the most I can afford for rent is $700 a month. That's basically a room in someone's house. That's it. As an Adult, I'm disgusted it's come to this. But what angers me MOST of all, is the Landlord's I gotta argue with. Surrey, BC used to be the cheap end of Vancouver. The welfare type housing, and low-income area. Then we had this huge book of Middle Eastern people come flying in at top speed, steam roll the community and make it theirs. They bought up all the cheap housing, ripped it down even though it was not that bad of a house, then built these custom 5-6 room mini mansions. The standards for the area skyrocketed, and the cost of their mortgage is likely also sky high because of what they built... So what do they do? Rent the rooms, force people 2 to a room with no privacy, and if you WANT a private room? Nearly $1000. Oh... And let's not forget the discrimination issues. If you're not going to temple or Gudwara, forget it. If you aren't pure vegetarian, forget it. And because all the other renters are "brown" and under 30yrs old, Adults are considered unwelcome. If you have a disability and don't work, you're automatically labelled a drug user (which isn't always truth). Even if you offer proof of income, and resources or phone numbers to call, they won't bother. Too much work. This sh*t needs to stop. I look in other cities near by, and it's happening in ALL OF THEM. I cant even relocate to get away from this crap. I'm done. I have no car to live out of, so that's not an option. I'm not a drug user, never will be but and all the shelters are now "low barrier". Screw that. So now what? Go back to work with a broken lower back?? Desk job search when I should be recovering and resting? Like, the suggestions are welcome, but be realistic. I'm in constant pain on heavy duty drugs to get by right now. No spouce. No parents or friends to leech off of. I feel utterly abandoned by our government.

As a non affiliated american i hate this is happening, economy is horrible enough that i didn't even think it could get worse but i guess it can. We can barely afford necessities with the minimum wage we get. This is just a game for the rich and the rest of the people are suffering due to the their greed.

I almost completely support everything he says. My problem comes with his comments on Fentanyl. Please, this medication is a game changer for so many suffering daily in agony with chronic pain or deadly conditions. For those who need it medically, it is strictly controlled and monitored. Fentanyl is “eaten” by pain, so for those who need it there is no high, just relief.\nThose on it legally already have to deal with a great amount of prejudice, being treated as addicts and dealers when they are just trying to find a way to survive immense pain everyday. This medication allows them to get out of bed, to attend school or work, to have a life. It gives them hope and relief. \nThe opioid crisis is real, but those on a prescription are not the cause. Canada already has some of the strictest protocols in the world for this medication, leaving many people in agony as they loose access to it. \nDon’t take away something that is saving them. The drug is not wrong, those selling it illegally are in the wrong.

I effectively spent a chunk of my childhood in America with relatives. I treasured these memories, but now all the feelings of wonder and happiness when thinking of my visits to America have faded. Now I just think of how selfish it was to sabotage Canada. American private equities want to rock our system and buy up all they can and so I am happy we are watching for this. This is not anti-American, it is just fighting back from an unnecessary trade war. It does however break my heart because many Canadians have family on the U.S. side. I know it would also break my father’s heart as he grew up in New England and had a lifetime affection for the U.S. I despise politics and have not been a proud Canadian for a few years but I have to admit that this speech is getting me going again. Canada needs to get its act together and rebuild its military, not to fend off the U.S. but to hold its own should other countries decide we are ripe for the picking. I want U.S.-Canada relations to be tight again. We’re neighbor. We will have our disagreements and that’s fine but these trade wars will hurt everyone and, if it lasts, may leave lasting grievances.

I think this effect has already been anticipated by the current US administration and I surmise they will shift their trade relations with Russia perhaps they can get a better deal with Russia. Sad but perhaps true. I hope not as it is going to be an end to liberal democracy ushering the age of authoritarianism and empire building.

I believe when truckers had something to say was it not Trudeau who instead of listening to his citizens did he not freeze truckers personal bank accounts. I can't believe he is siding with Russia. I don't get why he would want to risk having Canada as a potential enemy. I'm not sure to what extent, but still. I don't know much about politics but I hope for our sake, this isn't permanent. Why do that to an ally that we have been working with together for decades? Makes no sense. That's the thing, though. If we are going to be an authoritarian, antidemocratic, fascist dictatorship, we have to shed our old friends who would get all judgy about the the human rights abuses. So, step one, destroy relationships with friends. I think it is time to use all the unused land to grow our vegetation and any thing else that gets planted to use for the Canadian. We do have the brain and the finances to grow our own fruit even if it takes a couple of years for the plants to produce the vegetation to supply the need. We need to manufacture our own goods. It is only one simple issue we will face but it is one we can handle! Oil, gas, car parts and cars...do it here and get some of the unemployed individuals Living on Provincial Checks off their butts and put them to work. I get all the commentary lifting Trudeau up but when i heard that he is like on his last couple of days of his term i couldn't help but feel that noone so far anyways has come out and let lose with the hard hitting, proper Grammer and clean nice language be dammed, no not anyone to speak to this wannabe hard guy which this guy absolutely is not - trust me , and i get it he is 80 years old, but if you watch him in his 60s and 50's and going back to his youth he never could bust a grape; just all bluster , daddy's money, and when it came time to pay some rent .. he'd pay someone else to do it. Have any of you Canadians looked into what Canada imports vs exports .......... remeber all those new green deal garbage is out the window here in the USA, so lumber is going back up , mining , etc . And don't take it personal , this isn't about you as a country but more about American calling out americna companies who build factories only your side , get great deals for taxes and then import the products back to American at a premium retail price and then profit off the American people while offering nothing back .........the end goal is to either make thise companies pay more to get products over the boarder , or bring the factories back here and employee americans .........and last I check the Canadian government doesn't own or produce any products so the things that will be imported to usa will be the ones with a cost rise to the companies that are producing them ........ them............

aren't there ANY possible legal ways at all to stop them in their tracks?, english is not my first language and i learnt it late in life, but words like impeachment come to mind, along with criminal offences, felony charges for corruption, espionage and so on. Street protests?, mass complainings to your representatives?... i do not really know what you can do in your country (i'm in europe), but please do something, get your country back!... thanks for reading
