I am in the Midwest and it would be a disaster to do this... cut the energy. You can do it in steps, by selling it elsewhere, 5% this month, 10% the following... on and on. People are too comfortable and no one in the US will rise from their chairs until they are being harmed. Tapper it off quickly. I live in Los Angels and I did not vote for this. Canada has always helped us when we had natural disaster.
