Daily reminder that all the democrat border bill did was say that the president *may* take action to close the border only if the daily illegal crossings exceed 5000 a day, approximating 2 million a year.

The administration won’t deport every illegal immigrant, it won’t even come close. They’ll go after criminals and it will ramp up border security to slow the influx of new immigrants and allow the country to absorb the current immigrants

It really isn't a difficult matter to solve. 1) Get the actual border under control. 2) Tell Mexico; and demonstrate it to them if necessary, that you'll close the border entirely if they don't get a grip on their own southern border. The result = Poof, goes the Mexican economy. 3) Round up the criminals.\n\nDo those 3 things and you'll bring some sanity back into the system which is all anyone really wants. It won't mean 11M get deported; perhaps 1-2M at most, but if there's a sense of order again, I can't see anyone caring. Then we can talk about a possible path to citizenship for the rest.
