I migrated to Canada in 2006. A decade later I went back to ny native country totally broken. A disastrous experience. Canadian immigration is a scam.

Too many politicians and activists have too many capitals on large number of immigrants. That is their business and career. Look at their eyes, you will know that they are lying. Canada had successfully historical record of immigration because we have a selective immigration system. It is broken now because too many want to live on the industry of immigration. They need to expand it. We, the test, suffer from it.

im a Canadian that is contemplating leaving Canada, car got broken into twice in the past 2 months here in Calgary. never happened in the 17 years i stayed here. mass immigration is fked up. it took us 5 years to migrate the right and some of these folks just walk in and get accepted

I live in BC, have lived in my community and owned a home here for 47 years. At my local Walmart I rarely hear English spoken, even by employees. One time, the cashier held up an item to the white woman in front of me, and asked her in broken English, “what is this called” to which she replied “celery” and he asks “how to spell?” so he could key it in. He did that with several items. While serving me, another Walmart employee comes over and speaks to him NOT in English, for 3 min, while I’m waiting to be served. I calmly said “excuse me, this is Canada and we speak English in Canada.” This happens all the time. Very annoying.

Canada is so broken now. I came here in 2010, it was amazing back then. Now, every single day I regret not moving out of Canada earlier and not changing my career on time. There is no living standard now and its about surviving now. Everything I am earning is just going towards bills and tickets. The cops are everywhere giving fines for smallest of mistakes to make sure refugees and asylum seekers get paid almost $2000 every month. Also, if you are making above $90K household wise, you are done, you cannot get so many benefits from the government. Basically, now working in Canada means paying for lifestyle of lazy people.

Canada needs people for low end/tough jobs, but also high end jobs. The problem is importing a bunch of people into a broken system is not going to do anything but cause problems for the most part. Canada should have invested in the people already here, change the laws and policies, get rid of the red tape and have common sense legislation.

Add in greed driven inflation by the oil & grocery giants and there is no extra money for rent. Now poilievre wants back in power, when he’s had 20 years and done nothing to increase housing, and pander to those exact same conglomerates. Meanwhile, our interest rates keep going down according to plan, the housing bubble has leveled, & progress is being made. Canada isn’t broken, we just have to keep working on it.

To anyone thinking about coming to Canada, DON'T. Everything in this video is true. Canada is broken mainly by our corrupt Liberal/NDP government.

I am going to tell you all the truth. I moved away from Canada in 2006 and lived in China up until 2019 (moved back to Canada). I saw China develop into a superpower, hiccups and inflation galore. But taxes are relatively fair and the opportunity to build something was always present. I find Canada has become a terrible choice especially now (totally neutral standpoint). If you didn't get into the housing market pre-pandemic, it will be harsh and you will be either a mortgage or tenant slave. The taxes are outrageous, utilities, insurance... these items are MUCH higher than China (and most countries). Owning a vehicle comes with high costs and you basically need one if you don't live in a top tier city. And then you are overpaying in living costs. Income tax (25-60%), property tax (about a month's salary), HST (13%)... and what do you get in return? A broken healthcare system, more freedoms (debatable), your children learning about woke agendas? An inadequate pension? If you are not in the top 5-10% (and I am), this is a very bad deal. My advice is to try to earn online with a passion and live in a location where you can actually save. Coming to Canada for the experience is great. But trying to build up in Canada is not a great choice. I am on the winning side warning you, Canada is saturated... look elsewhere.

Canada is a success story. It’s not broken, but our governance practices and our government institutions are in urgent need of repair. Over many years, successive federal governments and generations of public servants have played a key role in setting the nation’s policy direction, working productively with the private sector and provinces on shared issues, and delivering for Canadians. Why broken? They are coming to use the system by registering noncompetitive schools. Working in 3 jobs not going to school to pay the tuition? This is scam and against education visa conditions. If the public healthcare is broken then citizens can choose for private healthcare insurance just like in India,many employers cover this insurance, so that you don’t have to spend out of pocket. I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !! \nAnd the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. I really feel sorry for this country and the people of this country. \nI always respected my county, India but now I really feel that the sense of security, belongingness, our culture is amazing !!! \nIf anyone is planning to come to Canada for studies, please think again. My father in law got medical treatment in Canada worth $300000 CAD when he was on visitor status. Their medical system is not broken but problem is their system was not ready for too many people in short time and this is failure of internally miscordination between government departments from Trudeau administration .
