Mexico has allowed to be exploited by greedy American corporations, to the demise of both countries, I have seen first hand what NAFTA has mede in TIJUANA, all that profit from exploiting Mexican labor, and the massive environmental crisis, because lack of infrastructure to support all the influx of people to work for miserable wages, electricity, water, sewer systems are a joke, no innovation, no support, where had all that profit gone?! \nTo the pockets of corrupt government both in Mexico and USA, despicable greed! \nDo it President Trump! \nBoth countries need to face consequences for bad government, poor people always get trampled, sadly, but we will prevail by GOD’S grace.

Mexico is indeed a failed State. If the state cannot stop drug trafficking and illegal migration, then it does not have the resources or the desire to change the situation. But there is another option. The Mexican Government deliberately turns a blind eye to migration flows in order to reduce social tension in its own country. Mexico is thus getting rid of thousands of angry young people, redirecting their energy towards the United States.

As a Mexican American it's crazy how this woman has forgotten how it was easier for Mexicans to get a visa as far back as the 90s. Back then circumstances were different.

The number one problem with deporting undocumented people. Where to?\n\nLatino, speaking Spanish, sure must be Mexican!\n\nI'm grabbing my popcorn for when the deported numbers are turning out way lower than people expect.\n\nDifficult questions don't get solved with simple solutions. But I guess it's hard to understand if you vote for populists.

They won’t deport to countries of origin. They will just shuttle them all across the USA-Mexico border. That will get send a message to the Mexican government to stop enabling this nonsense

As someone who formerly worked with the DHS, and by extent, ICE, the real headache that comes with deporting someone is verifying a derpotee's nationality/country of origin, and getting said country to also verify the deportee's nationality. Information one with nothing to lose will most likely not give up willingly. Contrary to popular belief, you can't just take any illegal and throw them over the Mexican border (unless you're actually Mexican by Nationality.). If they're from any country that doesn't border the US, i.e Mexico or Canada, they must be repatriated to their countries via charter flights. Which is another diplomatic headache unto itself.

It really isn't a difficult matter to solve. 1) Get the actual border under control. 2) Tell Mexico; and demonstrate it to them if necessary, that you'll close the border entirely if they don't get a grip on their own southern border. The result = Poof, goes the Mexican economy. 3) Round up the criminals.\n\nDo those 3 things and you'll bring some sanity back into the system which is all anyone really wants. It won't mean 11M get deported; perhaps 1-2M at most, but if there's a sense of order again, I can't see anyone caring. Then we can talk about a possible path to citizenship for the rest.

Do it President Trump. We need to get rid of people who voted for their own deportation. 1000s of mexicans and latinos\nDo it, I support you 100%. We cant have people who cant see their own loss.\nThats the worse kind.

And another thing she don't realize is. They don't just come to your house and say okay. You guys get together and get your stuff. We're gonna put you in a bus and take you back to the border. No, they violently arrest you like your criminal. And throw you in jail for months sometimes years at a time waiting to be deported. And if you think you'll all be deported at once, you got another thing coming. The man might go and jump. The woman might go in July. The kids might go separately next year. If you don't believe me. I saw it with my own eyes in 2019. I was locked up in Colorado. I watched them raid construction sites hospitals. Numerous other businesses arresting hard work in Mexican people. Imagine all the nurses and workers at hospitals that are from other countries. I watched them arresting nurses. Arresting tab drivers Uber drivers. I watched them raid schools and arrest children. I watched them put these poor people in jails with real criminals. All the immigrants loved me. I was actually in a federal and ICE facility. So I literally saw all of the immigrants. I protected them from the racist white people. I'm from Tampa Florida, so I'm used to the jails and prisons being majority, black guys. But in Colorado, it's white supremace, gangs and Mexican gangs. What's even more sickening? Is people from Washington would come in and take some of the Indians out. And when they came back, I would ask them questions and they said that the government people would get information on their family back in India and see if they could pay 50k to stay in America. It was sickening. I found out that what they were doing was deporting. Poor people and the people that have money back in their country. They have their families send money and let them stay. I saw it with my own eyes.

You said your Mexican American then your loyalty lies with your Mexican half. Get the hell back to your home country if that's what you identify with primarily country I'm an American / English/ German/ Hungarian/ Ukrainian/. But I'm American first!! And I don't have an accent! A dialect but no accent, so your not American your a foreigner an alien invader!!

She has been trying to get her visa to VISIT the United States since my 10 year old daughter was a baby. Her next appointment is in 2025. It can be a very long and tedious process.\nPeople make it sound so easy. “Just do it the right way!” They have no idea what they’re talking about.\nMy sister-in-law doesn’t even want to move here, she just wants to visit her nieces and nephews and they make her jump through so many hoops.\nAt her last appointment, she answered a question honestly when they asked why she wanted to visit the United States, she said, “to visit my family.”\nThe interviewer told her, “ok, that is fine, but do NOT ever mention this again in any other interview. Say that you want to go to Disneyland or the malls or something. Do not let them know that you have family there, or they will think that you will try to stay!”\nThey have a script that you need to follow. They’re not looking for honesty.

I am Mexican, I went to College and worked legally in the US, and I am living in Mexico right now. I am totally against illegal immigration, but what I oppossed the most is the racism between Latinos. I can tell you that most of the people who treated me the worst were my own people. Latinos don't like other Latinos there and even less illegal immigrants, even if they were once illegal, 'cause they are not gonna take away what was so hard for them to get !! so so sad, I guess they are ashamed of where they come ???? and that's a big reason why they voted for Trump!!

Doing it the right way means needing a beneficiary or money. You don’t get a green card for a job. You need to be married or have money and buy one. It’s super expensive. Instead of kicking them out they should be given work or student visas until they earn their place here. But kicking them out helps no one really. This lady is super privileged. It literally takes YEARS, DECADES for so many people to even get citizenship. But this lady is okay deciding the lives of other people because for her, getting her citizenship was easy. I'm Hispanic, 3rd gen American. My great grandparents were born in Mexico, my grandparents were born in Texas in the 1920s. Anyway, I grew up an hour from the Mexican border. I don't know any family that lives in Mexico. IDK why these media pundits feel that because I'm Hispanic, I would want an open border. I'm as American as anyone else. There is a legal way to get into this country. Follow the law like this lady did.
