Canadian here ????????!! To any Americans reading this comment, my disgust over this whole tariff situation is not on the USA, it’s not Americans, IT’S TRUMP!!! Period!!! There is no doubt millions of you are very angry and embarrassed about what he wants to do. I want our 2 nations to be friends and allies forever. Any animosity between us is just extremely pointless. \n\nI want to thank the Americans who are wishing Canada and us Canadians the best and who are totally against what Trump wants to do!!!

Trudeau does not represent Canadians. He has had a minority government for years. Trudeau was finally forced to resign months ago. He should not be speaking on our behalf. He suspended parliament and refuses to call an election. No decision / agreement can be made re. Tariffs, etc. because technically we have no leadership right now. Tariffs have been threaten for months, and the Liberals have made no moves to do what’s right for Canada. He is using this as an opportunity to regqin power. He is not a man of the people.

Trudeau has had his up and downs in Canadian politics over the years, with the ever present divide between Conservatives and Liberals here in Canada, but one thing is for sure, he's a true statesman, who speaks with wisdom from the heart, and for that is respected around the world. Trump would be smart to take notes from Trudeau, a man with considerably more skill, etiquette and experience in the field of political leadership, both hear at home, and on the world stage.
