Who is here in 2025 during the Great American War to Annex Canada?

I have spent quite a bit of time in USA and I always find my experience split. For the most part the people and places are great. As a filmmaker I have shot in NYC, California, Mississippi to name a few. The people were always accommodating and friendly. One time a gentlemen and his wife that allowed us to film in his property would bring us hot chocolate at night, then offered to shoot anyone who got in our way. I was also filming in the desert in 2009 and I almost got shot in the face by a group of police officers that charged in guns out and tempers raging, before realizing that we had film permits and were scheduled to be on site. Only to have the crew say that if I was black they would have shot first and asked questions later. As tensions rise between Canada and USA with Trump's trade war and attempt to ANNEX Canada I think I will do my filming in other parts of the world, if not in Canada. I have plenty of American friends and know a lot of Canadians that live in the US. I just hope things settle between our two nations soon. Where do you live? Interested to see what part of the States you live in.

It’s about debt and power, the former growing, the latter fading. Trump himself has said tariffs are a means to make America wealthy and to abolish income tax. It’s got to do with America living outside its means with massive deficits and ballooning debt, and rather than take responsibility for that, the US thinks others should pay (when US consumers will) for it to continue to live outside its means, while it cuts taxes largely to the benefit of the wealthy... \nRemember when Iraq invaded Kuwait, how it said it was because Kuwait (and the United Arab Emirates) caused a drop in oil prices with the overproduction of crude oil, thus impacting Iraq’s ability to pay its debts and recover from the Iran-Iraq war, but really it was about seizing Kuwait’s large oil reserves, canceling the debt it owed Kuwait, and expanding its power in the region… Sound similar?

Together let’s do something about it instead of leaving. Canada isn’t a country like China where no changes can be made by its citizens. I’m an immigrant, first arrived here in Canada in 2014. Once I heard the US wants to annex us I asked myself what can I do to help prevent this. I think the quickest way is we need a stronger military. I looked up the Canadian military website and found out me as a permanent resident can also be qualified to apply. Although the compensation isn’t that great, if the US really start being unwise I will definitely apply.

People will fight back. The more you block them off, the stronger the resistance becomes. What do you do now? It looks like things were better when there was some form of controlled flow of immigrants than this utter chaos. Even if I want to think that this invasion is not okay, it was the US who invaded all their ancestral lands first. Mexico used to be all the way to California extending to Texas. Now, US wants to annex Canada and Greenland.

In most of history, a country would consider this an act of war. Another country can’t just allow a massive flood of foreign entities into another nations borders and not have it be considered an act of aggression. The USA should annex Canada. Clearly, they are not capable of running their own nation and protecting their own borders.\n\nIf the US were to annex Canada controlling the borders would be easy in the north if you just shut down the ports and airports. I've seen your other sketches, but this is the funniest of the bunch because, being an American, Everything you say about Canadians is absolutely true: everybody who's on t v or in the movies turns out to be Canadian. We just assume they are americans because they sound just like us. True historical fact for you guys: after the revolution, the American one that is, Benjamin Franklin, wanted to annex Canada as part of the United States, but the British turned it down. otherwise, you would have been Americans.

I don't know why USA is not trying to annex Canada. 1st USA Constitution had open invitation to join & USA tried to conquer Canada in War of 1812.
