Poutine is indeed consumed best under drunkenness. It also prevent you from being sick after too many drinks... or make it waaaay worse, really depends.

I missed out on another FAHbulous Dublin weekend but now I'm suddenly in the mood for travelling to Canada to see you guys ;) Btw, reaching the adequate state of drunkenness for consuming Poutine was made easy for my by my Québecois friends as they seriously put maple sirup in the booze.

Stuff Americans do or have that is totally different from Canadians. \n1. Americans put their macaroni & cheese in the oven, Canadians just cook it over the stove in a pot and stir in the seasoning after \n2. Americans have to pay a whole lot of money for their medications, in Canada it's mostly covered \n3. Americans talk with a weird slang dependin on which part their from, in Canada its plain english or french. (but nothing like the UK english at all) \n4. Americans don't make their poutine fries properly, in Canada its done the finest \n5. Americans have access to some of the best shopping malls in the world, Canada has to basically get everything shipped from there at extra cost.\n6. Americans well a good majority of the states can open carry firearms, in Canada that is completely illegal (but you could have a hunting rifle or crossbow if the RCMP license you to)\n7. Americans federal system is the FEDS and the ATF (correct me if i'm wrong), in Canada its the RCMP. (an NO they do not ride horses everywhere.)\n8. Americans have a much warmer weather all year around, in Canada its freezing most of the year and only get 3 ~ 4 months of warm weather.\n9. Americans well mostly in New York they have awesome chopped cheese sandwiches and cheesesteaks, in Canada you could never find that at Subway.\n10. Americans have Target, Chik-Fil-A, and Walgreens, in Canada we have Tim Hortons, Mary Browns, and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Hello from Quebec and ye it is amazing to live here. The Poutine (succulent fries with thick gravy and that squeaky cheese ) is the best in Canada :)

Holy cow, are we really the safest?? It's true that news buzz don't do that justice and sometimes makes us wonder if our crime rate is actually increasing... although it has likely increased all around the world due to stress caused by COVID now that I think about it.\n\nI did not expect us to become number 1 still lol, we have a lack of manpower that makes our healthcare suffer (all of our jobs suffer... we NEED NEW PEOPLE!!) which is enough to make an old senior's house close permanently and because of history and current nationalism, immigration can be a super challenge for people of color. I don't know if about the same things happen to other provinces, but... oh well.\n\n\n\nBtw, poutine.

After over a year a little bit finally I was able to travel to Canada just this week. I damn ate 6 Poutine in 3 days lol . (Quebec Province) . I hope restrictions get smoother in near future. Like drop the PCR test if we are driving. But all good. Thank you Canada for giving us beautiful dish such Poutine <3 .

Sorry Drew, but you should visit Québec to see how different we are than the rest of Canada and the USA. We watch our own Québec TV shows, work and live in French, have our own Québécois singers - Céline Dion est well known, but who of you know: Ginette Reno, Les Cowboys Fringants, Bruno Pelletier, Robert Charlebois, Isabelle Boulay and hundred of others? You mentionned poutine, which was created over 50 years ago in a small Québec village. But what anglo Canadians knows about : tourtière, pâté chinois, grand-père dans le sirop, etc.? Voilà! As a Canadian, the food part is a bit exaggerated lol. Although poutine and maple syrup are very Canadian, pizza and burgers definitely are important here in Canada, and arguably more popular.
