I dont mind the indians since i dont live in an area with too many indians. Well i do (markham) but what annoys me (not tryna sound racist but i just need to say it) theres a lot of chinese here and markham's demographics is like 27-19% european and indians are 19% here but here we have nearly 50% chinese out of our like what 368,000 citizens.. i dont mind them but everywhere i go i hear people speaking chinese, posters in chinese, even some teachers have been teaching more chinese than canadian history at my sisters school. My PE class is 18 chinese kids, 3 white kids, 3 indians and 3 black people. See what i mean.. They're smart and keep to themselves but in my experience they're pretty loud and can often be a bit rude and a lot of the times a bit racist too. Edit: before anyone asks yes i am white. I am not trying to be racist but I would just like someone to hear me out. I think people in Brampton are having similar issues.

Punjabi Indians are crooks and very dishonest they will scam you if they can and if you work for them they will steal your hours and pay you less money. Canada wants immigrants so they can pay them cheap for meanial jobs that nobody wants to do. Period. All your efforts spent getting a degree in something will be worth nothing here. Period. Even if you consider yourself super smart with an IQ above average and think you can defy the system, think better: yes you can go to school here and get your degree recognized, but is gonna take a lot of time and money, you'll probably have to work two jobs under shitty weather and pay the rent for an apartment not bigger than a shoebox, not to mention the college fees. Is it worth it? After 15 years spent here first as an immigrant and now as a citizen, I still have to understand what makes Canada so appealing to people. But then I came from Europe, where life is easy and relaxed, so I guess my point of view is biased.

Came here 2.5 years ago and been working from my second week here onwards. As a European, I have seen how the different urbanistic priorities here make everyday life simply noisy, smelly and encourage a non healthy way of life. And whilst I believe that everyone should be respected, I also think that this respect should stop when respecting an old suburbanite means throwing away city's financial wellness and viability. \nHowever seeing how my colleagues, even the young ones, want to preserve that way of life, qualifying it as Free, discouraged me, and makes me want to invest in a future elsewhere.... Where cities are free to invest in smart development and not struggling to maintain the shitty car-suburban -centric one they made when the car industry brain-washed local authorities...
