As a legal immigrant it’s kind of sad for me to see that people think they can just walk into the states. Our family had to jump through hoops to get in. I understand the situation in Venezuela because I live in Mexico now, but the fact of the matter is, many of them can stay in other countries and do just fine. I know many venenzuelans in Mexico who are making a living. Mexico is very generous with humanitarian visas, even for Haitians. They are prioritized more than any other groups. But they don’t want to stay in Latin America…. The US is some kind of fantasy for them. Why don’t they rush their capital this way?

Legal and educated people are suffering to get green card here and these people who does not have any document can easily get citizenship...where is America going.

This is an invasion of the United States. America has no obligation to take in people who live under governments that don't work. Canadians are far more critical of America than Americans are of Canada but that doesn’t mean We think Canada is better. The average American is better off as far as salary goes but the median American is very much worse off. You touched on it with the GINI - in America there are a large number of very wealthy people skewing all economic indicators. The rich get richer while the poor get poorer.
