Additionally after the schooling you are given a guaranteed work permit for the same duration as the schooling (if you went to school 2 years you get a 2 year permit, 4 years you get a 4 year permit, ect.) A Canada and immigration agencies (for some reason) basically advertised this to India as a guaranteed way to get permanent residence in Canada. Canadians hated the massive flood of people coming into Canada (about a million a year at its peak, which for a smaller country like canada is equivalent to 10 million people coming into the USA every year). This is really unpopular with voters of course (in part because of the housing, food, and low skill work shortages it created), and the next Canadian election is this year. I'm Canadian. This is absolute BS news. If it were true it would be major news here in Canada. Americans have got to stop believing all these lies.!! There ARE NOT 16,000 migrants trying to enter NYC.!!!!!

People forget that border is not the sole responsibility of Canada! Migrants and stuff flows both directions! So why is Canada being made to deal with the entire thing? Where were the Americans stopping the flow coming north? No where, being dropped off by the busload and directed north into Ontario and Quebec! This entire continent has this same issue. But I guess blaming Canada just makes it easier to swallow

If we stopped these people at the border and made them stay in the country they entered, Canada, and Mexico. How long do you think they would tolerate this before they stopped it. The cost to house, feed, medical, clothe, document, and get jobs for would mess up their economy. But because they want to come to the U.S.A. they do not have to worry about it.\nWe cannot solve the world's problems, all we can do is help without destroying our own country.

Please....Canadian borders account for less than 1% of the total people trying to get into the US. Over 99% come across the southern border. This is official accounting. Fox News is not a good source for this information. You make it sound like Canada had nothing in place until Trump came along and thousands of people are coming through Canada.

Americans have really drunk the koolaid and don't realize that they are the only ones who think their country is so amazing. There are some cool things about America but nothing worth moving there for especially from Canada. I think the only people that would think America is so great are people who are running from some terrible country (probably couldn't get into Canada). I use to enjoy visiting America every now and then but in this climate there's not a chance you'll catch me even visiting.

I saddens me that ordinary citizens (not wealthy) are stuck in this incredibly difficult life. We all slug to keep the wealthy bathed in riches and the government assists them. It is crazy that Canada has been rated #1 to #3 of the best places to live in this world. Tells you how other countries are facing even more hardship than we are. The 'let them eat cake' faction has got to be put back in place.

look we all share this world just embrace it nothing to fear but fear itself. \n by not understanding other people cultures and beliefs.\nit's not like Canada hasn't got the space yes of course cities are going to get overcrowded and maybe the government should concentrate expanding the suburbs and building villages outside of the cities. more investment is needed of course not migrants fault.\ndedicate a area for a village and you give the person half an acre of land free leasehold. half the cost of building supply by the government for a house or flat and you pay it back to the government of a maximum 10% interest over 30 years

I am of Indian heritage and from what I am seeing around the world its disgusting how Indians are behaving, its made me ashamed of having that heritage and its not just in Canada, they are destroying the reputation for all Indians, and you can't just say its only a small percentage. I was born and raised in England in the 60's, we respected the culture, and country we were in, and would never see this kind of behavior that we are seeing today. Indians were known for being quiet, and respectful, and especially never loud like the way they are today, this blame I put on India itself for not maintaining its culture and respect around the world, this is shameful to see I don't blame other cultures for this mess, this is why Indians are being rejected around the world, its not a coincident.

This is what USA thinks. The truth is, Canada has been on the list of better places to live in the world many years in a row. The USA has never been on that list.\nCanada is for people who wants to work and earn their living. tyler i don't think u realize how bad the usa education system really is. i'm canadian but have lost count of the number of usa teachers who have complained about how bad they are held back from teaching kids properly, how kids can't be failed or held back, how kids graduating gr 12 can't read or write past gr 6 level. in fact recently there was a statistic put out that something like 60% of ALL americans cant read or write past gr 6. considering all your universities that is terrifying. not to mention with gun violence, straight up violence among kids and at teachers, the disrespect and the severe lack of good parenting, kids are not being educated at all. u yourself have done videos on where someone interviews americans and asked them questions about canada and they haven't got a clue. not one clue. yet canadian kids are regularly taught all about their american neighbours. are kids know more about america then american kids do and thats shameful. u need to do some research on this because unless u live in a rich gated elite community and go to private school the public education system in the usa is very dismal and woefully inadequate. \nalso he's right about politics. here we can discuss it rationally and then move on to other topics. in the states ppl are shooting ppl over differences in politics. beating ppl up trashing their cars and property etc. and many police are definitely not presenting themselves with professionalism tons of racism going on. and so many police because everyone is armed. here in canada we are not allowed handguns and pretty much ppl only have hunting rifles. it takes a lot of work and clearance not to mention time and money to take the necessary classes and get the necessary permits to even own a hunting rifle. in the usa show a drivers license and wait 10 days u have a handgun no matter how mental u are. therefore u need way more police than here in canada. i think u have a well to do upbringing so u have not and do not see the true picture of the america u live in. \nalso i have talked to many american friends who had insurance and still cost them about $5000 per birth of a child. with good insurance and working full time. so thats about average. here in canada u pay nothing except maybe parking for hubby while he visits.
