How are trans people serving in the the US? Exceptions are being made that’s how. It’s a hard pill to swallow for someone who lost their career because I was non deployable to see folks get an exception to that. A lot of trans folks are non-deployable and are still active.

When it comes to United States, they can get away with a lot of stuff and some people come to United States illegally but do right and then some people come to United States and do to United States and event benefits that American people should have. My wife is a immigrant. We had been married 2 years before I was finally able to get her here with me. Even with being a veteran it didn't give us no entitlement with the legal immigration policy. I had to prove that I could financially support us. This was during Trumps last term & she is still waiting to be awarded citizenship. I have no pity for these illegal immigrants. They shouldn't b awarded no special treatment. Get in line with the rest of us legal immigrants.

I have a lot of sympathy for these people, especially considering many gave up everything they had to pay smugglers to get this far while our government was effectively letting everyone in while offering additional incentives such as money and temporary housing. That said, if we don't have borders we don't have a country. Add on the massive welfare state that they will all become burdens on, either immediately or eventually, and it becomes clear to anyone with a little bit knowledge and common sense that the policies of the Biden administration that allowed things to get this bad, if not stopped immediately, would mean the end of the middle class, the further impoverishment of the lower class and massive benefits for the wealthiest among us. And when I say wealthy I'm not talking about the guy making 7 figures. I mean those who control billions, either directly or indirectly. You know, the same people who have the power to influence political parties to enact such policies and push narratives by the corporate media that state anyone who questions the policy is racist, greedy, heartless, or xenophobic.

My husband is from Turkey we've been going through the Immigration process for years it's not easy but we're doing it. I see my husband get up and work hard everyday. He's never gotten a handout so to see this is frustrating to the both of us!!!!!

No one made the social net in Canada for us, we made it for each other. That's democracy. Having said, that, I use the healthcare system as little as possible while others are breaking its back with minor colds, especially since Covid. Fear of lack of healthcare was not the Canadian norm, but seems to have become that way resulting in people destroying a good thing and getting lazier about personal responsibility! So much talk about politics everywhere now and not much talk about responsibility for ourselves let alone our neighbours. Politicians are not gods!
