These “students” tried to by-pass another process to legally come to Canada as PR. If you really want to be PR go back to your country and apply as such. There are millions in your country who’s following this process and you’re trying to by-pass them. Plain and simple.

wow this is just an opinion video of sorts, but guess i'm proud to live in montreal. i own the last army surplus store here. 1423 st laurent. i love montreal as a city, the food is second to none for all of north america. um, weather is full winter during dec to feb. i also live near magog in the eastern townships which is beautiful.\ni've been to pei, love it there, great beaches and very quiet. never been to BC, and living here, i would never visit the middle of canada, just flat and boring and drugs are a big problem and homelessness. cabot trail in ( i did it on bicycle) is fabulous. quebec city, amazing.\ni'm a proud canadian and surely there are far worse countries in the world to live in. but when i retire full time , it will leave for a warmer climate (snow bird) in the winter. not florida, too busy and not nearly as nice as the Caribbean, i go to Curacao 1 month every winter. perfect weather and being dutch has great food and is safe island and beaches are second to none........

Why not try the legal way to enter a country? Does it always need to be a scam? Tougher boarder and immigration laws are coming as soon as Liberals running the USA and Canada are banished.

What everyone needs in Canada right now are as follows : 1) affordable housing; 2) decent employment; 3) reliable and dependable healthcare. \n\nI agree that immigration process needs to be made harder and stricter. Choose quality over quantity. \n\nFocus on getting new immigrants only in specified fields such as a) healthcare (doctors, nurses, healthcare workers); b) trades (construction/plumbing/carpentry/electricians/farmers); c) tech (IT/AI/Robotics...) and no need to bring students to do useless courses in management/finance and other fields.\n\n\nDevelop other provinces besides Ontario/Quebec/BC/Alberta; build new townships and create jobs in these new towns; build more airports, highways, break monopoly of state owned air carriers and increase competition; ban all labor unions; decrease bureaucracy and regulations and keep it at a bare minimum; increase and improve work efficiencies

These Indians need to face the fact that Canada doesn't want them, neither do our American neighbors. There is no point in running to the U.S. as they will capture and deport \nthese people. Starting around the year 2000, prices started to spike up, 25, 50, 100, 200, 300% while interest rates went to almost 0. Same with rent price increases.....crazy prices over the last 10 years....25, 50, over 100% price increases......Over 20 years of kaos. And now look at the mess you greedy government parasites, unions, bankers have created. Mass immigration, major government growth - spending – debt – control..., super low interest rates, mass immigration = crazy housing, rental prices......poor Canada, what a mess created by all you greedy governments, all political parties.....The only way housing prices get back to where they should be is a crash...bring it on.....the sooner the better. As a current international student I can say I am happy for all this changes Canada is doing in the immigration system sadly it was taken advantage by too many indians and people from africa that came here with not the best intentions, I can confidently say if in my case is not possible to stay I will happily return to central america with good memories and good friendships and start working again. thats life

Feels like we are overlooking the fact that Russia invaded Ukraine and Canada approved over a million asylum seekers fleeing the war. I am only 7 mins in, but seems like a huge part of the equation especially given the Youtubers sound like they natively came from that region of the world.

The fact that you could get the same amount of money on CERB as working a full time job that pays above minimum wage. I made $2 above minimum and I got about $100 above CERB over the month....... All this is why so many said no to working their backsides off to live paycheque to paycheque. Myself, I need to have a routine. So I went back to work ASAP after my job being eliminated at the start of the pandemic. Now everywhere I look I do not recognize Canada. I feel like i'm in a different country. The old way of life has been wiped out in a few years..... Learn Punjabi while you can, won't have a choice by the end of the decade.

Yeah the government is going hard after immigrants right now, which is good because there was a lot of abuse and the rate of immigration was far too high, but also it's not the root of the problem where housing is concerned. \n\nIn this way, immigrants are a scapegoat for the housing crisis. They're being offered up as sacrificial lambs to the slaughter by our politicians in the hopes that it will appease voters. But at the same time our politicians also hoping that we don't notice how little they're doing to actually solve the real fundamental problems.\n\nBut solving those problems will require a complete shift in our approach to the finance sector and the tax code, as well as towards city planning and housing policy in general. These are things we can achieve. But not without significant adjustments to the status quo. And if there's one thing the status quo hates, it's changes to the status quo.\n\nSo here's what I expect from our politicians in years to come: more of the same empty promises and half measures. They'll keep doing that until there's a massive market correction and everyone in Canada loses their shirt. The government knew of the loop holes; giving away student visas and temporary workers same status as people who applied and waited for permanent residence status. They even tried to expedite the citizenship as new voters, because they knew that Canada was leaning towards conservatism.

To put it simply, Canadians have swung too far to the left and have become naive and brainwashed to think that a part-time ski instructor and high school drama teacher with the last name Trudeau could make good decisions for Canada’s future. \nThat worked out as U.S. conservative pragmatists have predicted it would.
