I’m from Miami and moved up to Toronto in 2012. I’ve slowly watched this city decline in every way possible. Gun crime, drugs, prostitution etc. The whole gay and trans movement is outta control too. That being said the violence isn’t even close to what I grew up around back home. There’s a lot of wannabe gangs out here. I used be gang affiliated and I’ve met ALOT of fake thugs out here. Claiming crip and rocking 6 point starts and bloods rocking 5 point starts and so forth. It’s ridiculous. That being said the city and country is going to straight shit

Great video guys I really enjoyed it. I wish I knew how many different towns you guys have really tested the tap water up there, because in the US the tap water changes drastically depending on where you go, in California they import a lot of their water so it travels a long way from the source, and it has to be treated, usually with chemicals, to keep it safe to drink. But there are many places where you can get better tasting water if its somewhere that doesnt import, and doesnt have heavy treatment for the water. Even in california it can chance from town to town, I know I lived in Dublin, CA for a while and they have such fresh tasting water but if you go just a couple towns over it taste nasty again. Also apartments are notorious for having worse tasting water cause it has to go through all sorts of plumbing to get up to your floor and that can effect it. Anyways Thanks guys, peace

The CBC is a huge issue in Canada. It’s funded ENTIRELY with tax dollars therefore the government decides what we watch, even if no one wants to watch it at all, and the CBC is 100% in love with the Liberal government and all of their news is blatant propaganda. Why not? The Liberals increased the CBC budget to 1.6 Billion a year of course they want to spin the news to help them especially when you consider the fact that many Conservatives want it defunded completely because they are tired of the spin. \nAnother issue is that some areas of Canada make the decisions for the rest of the country. Ontario and Quebec have large populations therefore when it comes to federal elections they basically always get their way even if everyone in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba disagrees. \nAlso, Quebec gets treated completely differently than the rest of the country. They have special deals when it comes to university tuition and child care, they have their own political party that no one else can vote for, and they force the rest of the country to have French all over the place and on everything which is mostly pointless and very few people in Canada can only speak French and can’t understand the English. The amount of crappy, unwatchable French TV/radio shows we outside Quebec have to pay for with tax dollars is beyond ridiculous.\nI know this comment will get hate especially since I mentioned Quebec which is a touchy subject.

The analysis about Healthcare is correct about demand being more than supply. But what is not really understood is that the Canadian rules make it that way, not lack of medical professionals. In other countries with national health care like UK, you can legally pay for extra care. In Canada, doctors are fined if they try to provide extra care or even want to work extra medical jobs. So you have to ration medical care and care is fixed, cannot grow or increase except by whatever the govt plans. Any additional care can only be obtained outside of Canada or else illegally/on the black market if in Canada.

I suggest you visit Richmond BC, Surrey BC, or Vancouver Downtown, so many successful Asian and brown people there. Whites (especially white males) are the only group in Canada that can be openly discriminated against in hiring and school applications, as diversity quotas require a minimal number of women and non-whites to be chosen, over whites (and men)who may meet the criteria. one of my cousin is been living in canada for the past 20+years, about the healthcare, it is much worst even compared to countries like Pakistan or India, my cousin was suffering from renal kidney disease and he had to make a kidney transplant but he was not able to get on that surgery, first he was refused of getting any donor in canada and then finally when he arranged his own donor from Pakistan, they did not give the visa to the donor and finally my cousin had to travel all the way back to Pakistan and get his treatment done here, despite all this the Canadian government after all the rush never replied to a single email from my cousin or his donor and finally he had to take a huge risk of travelling miles back home!!so the healthcare in Canada really sucks big time...thumbs up for making this video!!best of luck!!happy holidays!

Canada is an olygarchy dictatorship, literally a slave camp .the economy is setup in a way to leave canadians with no options but to slave themselves .you cant break out of the system when you have to work two jobs just to afford a one bedroom apartment.the criminal government of canada spends billions on false advertisements online to get more immigrants in and rip them off all their life savings , same for international students who are used as a cash grab for private colleges and universities. First let me say that every country and I do mean every single one has their pluses and minuses Canada's major plus is the fact that crime is almost nonexistent as opposed to the United States where there is a mass murder every single day and a mass murder defined as four or more people killed in One Time by one person this does not even count where there is just two or three people killed at one time they're not included in the statistics the United States is out of control with violence guns you name it and I've lived here for 40 years I spent the first 20 years in Canada in my life was so perfect that I can't even dream of a better life the problem with most people is they move to the larger cities Vancouver Toronto I grew up 40 miles outside of Montreal on the great Majestic St Lawrence River one of the truly great rivers in this world my parents had a summer home on the river and every summer it was water skiing fishing boating golfing swimming you name it growing up 40 miles outside of Montreal if you wanted The Nightlife of Montreal one of the great International cities in this world then you could just drive there in less than an hour and enjoy the great nightlife that is Montreal as someone who is French and Italian I loved the winters because ice hockey was my favorite sport and I played all the sports nothing even comes close to the speed skill and excitement of ice hockey it is like soccer on steroids they're only two cold months during the winter January and February and even then it's really enjoyable as long as the temperature stayed below 32° I was happy because that meant that they could make outdoor ice rinks and I could enjoy my favorite sport of ice hockey all winter long Outdoors as someone who's lived all over the United States over the last 40 years I wouldn't trade Canada for any place else the United States is full of scammers I've been in all kinds of businesses working for different companies and there's rarely a company that I didn't get cheated by and had to take to the labor board for justice and compensation I trust nobody the main thing here is stay away from the major cities of Vancouver and Toronto and you will be able to have a great life with affordable housing and if you're into the outdoors Sports Canada is the greatest and best secondly Canada has the third largest oil reserves in the world and so there are a lot of Natural Resources that Canada has that is wealth for the country that will filter down to the average person what people don't realize is it when you live I've lived in Southern United States and most places the summers are unbelievably excruciatingly suffocatingly miserably hot hot hot at least in the Colder Weather you just put on some great looking ski wear and you can be outdoors and not be bothered by the cold because you eventually a climatize yourself to it Canada is the second largest country in the world by land area and has only a 35 million population there is a lot of room for growth and opportunity and in a safe safe environment to raise a family and at the end of the day that's what it's all about I wish I could say the same for the United States being safe but no it is not and Mexico is they have six out of the top 10 most dangerous cities in the world and Tijuana is the most dangerous city in the world with almost 2000 murders and the year is not over don't believe me just Google it the reality is that the drug cartels control everything in Mexico and the police and politicians are afraid because the cartels are so ruthless there is way too much money to be made in selling drugs and the cartels will stop at nothing to make sure they get their money by the way most of my family still lives in Canada and are doing extremely well for themselves and I am the only fool that moved to the US

Every single topic discussed on this video is not only accurate but they are things i deal with every day.\n\nI work at a hotel downtown and with all the Homelessness and mental illness my job often seems more about keeping people out of the hotel than letting people in.\n\nWe were one of the last hotels to take cash and debit and we found out the hard way it just doesnt work and now we need credit cards like the other hotels which isnt fool proof and is unfair to people who dont use credit cards (like me) but its better than nothing.\n\nA lot of people are free to move around but they do not function in a way that is compatible with modern society for which there is no escape. A lot of homeless people lead miserable lives it seems and sometimes two people having a bad day end up colliding.\n\nI have a nice home with a roomate but our landlady likes us and isnt as concerned about money as having good tenants. She is 80 something and when she is done with having tenants then i will be in a very tough position and will probably...i dont even know.\n\nTook me years to get a doctor but i have one now and getting pushed out asap is a real thing due to time concerns so have lots of solid facts about your problem and avoid poetry or drama.\n\nEverything in this video are things i think about everyday and its even getting a bit scary.\n\nI love my country and its values but we have a lot of hard work to do i think.\n\nPS i had an accident at work where a chair broke and it tipped backwards and the back of my head hit a protrusion resulting in a minor cut but there was lots of blood.\n\nI called the 811 service and they said to have it checked out and i almost didnt gonto the hospital because i wasnt sure if i could stand waiting for 10 hours.\n\nI was lucky because it took only 2 hours with a bonus tetanus shot. im from newfoundland. i can say that the weather is quite bad,but the people here are real nice and our accents are hillarious to other provinces,we have strength but not so much intelligence. we also have one of the few viking settlements in north america,lanse aux meadows. aswell as a supposed viking location known as point rosee. also i should mention that newfoundland is incredibly historical just to list a few things we have:beothuks,viking settlements,4 different anscestors being france england scotland and ireland hints the hillarious accent,we also have lots of prehistoric fossils dating all the way back to 570 million bc,we also were the place that started and was one of the main reasons the french and indian/seven year war was formed,oh and dont even get me started on how much resources we have. in total we have 60 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and so much wind you could probably power all of america using windmills from newfoundland. but i dont advise you live here,its more of a historian/paleontologists dream to visit this place overall on a scale without any biasty i rate nefoundland and labrador a solid 7/10 for its amount of good jobs but its high gas prices,bad premier,bad weather,freezing tempatures,sparse and rugged land,no biodiversity and a it being a good spot for a country to invade if going to war.its not looking good for newfoundland and labrador,ESPECIALLY NEWFOUNDLAND

The way I see this after watching this documentary for which I am not even an international student, that there are no consequences at all from Canada to those colleges. Life in Canada is isolating, lonely, depressing. People are very closed and guarded, many are snobby, elitist and passive aggressive. It is not an amazing place as it is umfriendly, gray, damp and cold most of the time. The bigger cities got hordes of meth heads and mentally ill vagrants who pollute downtown areas. Canadians like to hole up in their apartments or houses and escape into smoking weed and video games. Many young men can't get girlfriends as the women are stuck up, unapproachable or just plain wrong for long term relationship. 80% of the women chase the 15% alpha males and complain constantly that they can't get a decent guy. Oh and yes, taxes are socialist paradise high. The more you earn the more you are taxed, thus removing the incentive of even trying. Too many laws and regulations hamper development. After your family doctor retires forget finding another. Forget getting medical care unless you got a life threatening issue and even then you might just go south of the border and pay your way.\nI could go on and on, but frankly I don't care. It's a lot easier to move. It's just my opinion, because, supposedly it's a free country. However, a country is only as free as it's people and many Canadians love the prison they created.

I do watch many videos about the topic. First of all there's no place like home. As a human we will have tendency to resist to change. Choosing to leave a country whatever the reason will always be hard, you left a culture, family and so many good things. Diversity in a country like Canada is a good thing sometimes because somewhere somehow you find link to home. Imagine as a French Canadian like I am, I am consider as an immigrant in my own country. The natives came first from Asia, English took over the country which left us with no country we can call home. Many immigrants will say that French is an obstacle and don't understand why we need laws to keep it, we took our place following negotiations with the native not by conquest and always need to fight to keep that space because we're not making babies anymore and do need immigration like the rest of the country. That being said it brings the sensitive topic of jobs. There's types of jobs you do need Canadian experience, in Canada the construction codes are different from even a region versus another one. Do you know that St-Lawrence river is sitting on a tectonic plate and you need to construct a building which can resist a earthquake? What Canada need to do because we do lack of people on those job, is to provide fast track to help them having Canadian experience. They don't need anatomy courses, human here are pretty much the same but they need to know what medication is legal in Canada. Finally, all is on setting expectations, don't expect to feel at home in here, it take in average 3 generations to really feel at home, so be ready to feel pushed aside, be ready to live in a area where you will find mostly people of common cultural background. You will feel left over and pretty much alone. The only solution to be happy in here is embrasse change, go out of your comfort zone, embrace the local culture, talk to people from different backgrounds. There's a difference between multi cultural and integration. Sharing is caring, share your culture and your food, and most of all don't think you have the best way of life and other people don't understand. When you think everyone is wrong is usually a sign that you're the one who is wrong. Racism weirdly don't have a culture, a race or a religion, it's individual.

Nothing is the way it was years ago ,Today our society has changed , Certain things that were accepted years ago are no longer accepted in todays society .Its new Governments and new Generations of people that think differently than the ones in the past .Things are different ,Besides that, you cant blame people of today for things that happened in the past by people the generations of today didnt even know. I live in a city neighbourhood that is immigrant central & can say confidently from immediate & personal experience that the majority here are not fleeing anything, popping from country to country to grab money & send it back home then, when they have enough, they retire back to their homeland. Most have no respect for private property nor for any of the norms of a polite society, they don't even wish to learn our language sufficiently to understand & respond. Most of my life I supported immigration but not this way, not with zero oversight. All political parties support it for the sake of getting more votes but the Liberals are the worst.

Yeah it's hard to find a job and keep the job in Canada. Even with a job that doesn't require education and anybody can do, I come across someone who is not happy with me being there and they try to find reasons why I shouldn't work there ?it happened 16 years ago when I first got into workforce and it happened not too long ago again. I was inventory clerk counting products at different stores. I believe I was an accurate counter and someone who recounted them told my manager I wasn't good. She said many of them I counted were either off or she couldn't understand my writing. And the manager had to have a talk with me. I can honestly say I was better counter than she was. And I feel very confident I was very careful with counting that day too. But she thought otherwise. I couldn't bear working with someone or some people who didn't appreciate my work or my presence there so I had to quit. It will happen again and I thought it wouldn't matter how accurate I am at counting. One of my Canadian colleagues once told me that it's okay for immigrants to live in Canada but it's not okay to work with them. I don't know if that's a fact but in my experience I have encountered some people like that along the way.

This is what happens when people live in La La Land instead of living in the reality. Living in a fairy tale in a way that not even this and other Fifth State documentaries would wake them up. The difference between the first and fifth world. Build your countries, your universities, prosper and grow. Stop living in fairy tales! It sounds harsh but I'd rather give it to you straight.

Most of these problems are not just Canadian problems but are immigrant problems and some are just developed nations problems , most people will face them in every country they go to!! The uk, us, Australia mention others are all expensive with just a 0.4 difference! Getting a Canadian passport and moving to another country which is not your native country will solve nothing and it’s not easy to move to a new country unless you have someone to sponsor you!! A Canadian passport will not allow you to work in the US or UK you will need sponsorship for a visa _ all it offers is a free visit visa for about 6 months I guess but not allowed to work! Work visas are complicated and depend more on skills than passport you hold! As a US citizen I can’t work in Canada visa free I can only visit_ the same with Canadians coming to the US or the UK ! \nFor the weather I feel you! We’re lucky In the US cos every type of weather you want you can get it without sacrificing living in a big city But other problems are quite similar everywhere! You have to walk around them and create ways to enjoy the beauty your country has to offer! Running away from from a country your a citizen of cos of loneliness or boredom is not a solution especially when you moving to a country your not even a resident of! Cos establishing residence is never easy unless you have a community there already! Otherwise it will be worse than where your running from!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. However, the issues you have faced in Australia will haunt you in some way in Canada too. I am a Canadian PR and just love Canada. The people are very nice, landscape is amazing, and it is cheaper than Australia. But it is just as hard in Canada to find a good job as it is in Australia. I am a Petroleum Engineer with over 10 years of experience working in a fortune 500 company, yet I cannot even get an interview for a related job in Canada. I also realized that lots of immigrants who came here through express entry and have years of experience work overseas despite staying in Canada for years due to the lack of opportunities. Africans being forced into slavery by their own people is greedy and heartbreaking and that cruelty is exactly what we have today. The cruelty of some blacks is outrageous, ask any elderly man or woman who was punched in the face by one of these cruel ones. What I don't dig is how every black person with a mediocre platform MUST talk about something black. In one way it was a blessing when blacks were brought to the states. In Africa many blacks had to suffer through famine and had to eat insects, there have been many cases of genocide, slave trade and HIV. After the Republicans died freeing the slaves, blacks were afforded a whole new life. It hasn't been easy but for blacks, life before BLM was encouraging blacks to attend college and get great jobs and the people in these companies accepted and even made friends with them. These motivated blacks were a minority though and the reality is that many backs wasted their life wanting to be rap stars and gangsters...the latter has increased this stupidity a hundred fold since BLM. Stop talking about blacks, how you perceive they are being treated, slavery, reparations and what ever else you have up your sleeve and start focusing on the very youth who will be on this planet when we are are old and helpless..

Whe you're in a different country, the responsibility is yours to know or find out what the laws of the land are. You cannot expect a whole nation of others to suddenly become educated about your religious practices and make way for you . If they do, that great, but it's not their responsibility. Also, having a weapon on you in an environment where others don't will put them at unease and also give you the advantage over them, in case of an altercation. How do they know if you are mentally sane or not and that you will not suddenly use it on them. Most Sikhs are wonderful and very caring people and I'm even sitting with one as I write this, but it's best we keep our religious practices to ourselves and not be in anyone's face with it, especially in a country where people are not so aware of other cultures. If he had to wear it for religious purposes, its his responsibility to have informed the university( which he may have) , but also to insist that they inform everyone else and the police of it, so as to not raise any tensions.

I tried the CRS score simulator, and I cannot believe my score is way below the latest cutoff. I'm 35 years old with PhD degree, already maximized the IELTS score. The only thing that can still bump up my score is if I can get a job offer in Canada, but even with that the score is still just a bit below the cut off. Is it really difficult to pass the cut off? does this mean I'd have 0 chance of getting the ITA?

True, lived there for 4 years. Canada is a well made lie to make someone else rich. I even met a rich immigrant who basically became rich because I'm sure he was doing money laundry. Also, Canadian politeness is a fake way to uncover how they actually don't care about another person; they are not nice people . Being there also made me think about this whole immigration system, it felt like a neo-slave trade, because immigration is such a gray area, and we basically have no rights to anything whatsoever, being open to be easily exploited. Not to mention psychological problems, like the Ulyssses Syndrome, that nobody talks about.

I'm listening to hear how Canada is not a desirable place to live, bc I have thought it would be a better alternative to the USA. But it still sounds better than life in the USA, if even just slightly. ?\nSo far, I hear 30% taxes on income (which is same in the USA).\nYou have free healthcare, however you have to wait in emergency room for 8 hours.....we DON'T have free healthcare....and guess what? $450+ later, we have still waited 4-10 hours in the ER. \nHere in the USA, our cost of living is insanely high compared to a single and even a double income. Our lowest rent is $1,200 to live in low income surroundings. A rent around $1,800/month will bring you to nicer surroundings in an apartment, but still surrounding areas have crime. \nFood costs are so high, Gas is so high. We haven't bought new clothes for ourselves in YEARS, only for our kids. \nDaycare is $485-500 month per child, even before and after school care. \nHealth insurance averages $145/per person per month, not to mention car insurance which is required to drive. \nSegregation has improved here but is ever being integrated back into our society as racism is kept very alive, even as they constantly teach it in the schools. They say it's to teach history but I believe it is just reinforcing racist ways and thinking patterns. \nI don't blame anyone for wanting to return to the comfort of their own people, language and living and country. \nYou may have us with the cold/hot weather in Canada! \nI didn't know about the Canadian passport being so opportunistic for travelling. That's cool ? \nAs far as desired profession, there are many doctors and teachers that come here to the USA from other countries and are now working as a clerk in the dollar stores here in the US. \nAnd forget work life balance here too. Cost of living here causes so much disruption in our family life. Debt is revolving.\nMy fiance's mother comes from a country in West Africa. She longs to return. She calls the USA a place you come to be a work rat. \nBesides free healthcare, it sounds like USA and Canada are similar. \nOne thing I've heard about Canada is that the government cares about kindness, as well as the banks. I hear that people are generally more courteous in Canada than they are here in the US.

wow you 2 ungrateful are complaining about 30 to 40% taxes, well why do you think third world countries are at at point they are? people are poor because they lack economic opportunities, good schools, teachers, new way of teaching the kids that they haven't even heard in the countries you were born in, the overall lack of corruption, when anytime you have to deal with any kind of public official for any kind of permit that might need, well build infrastructures, good public Universities, and a decent healthcare system, an independent well functioning judiciary system that is far less corrupted than the countries you were born at............ Paying for those in Nigeria is way worse than spending 40% of your yearly income. \nMost parents in Nigeria, spend their entire earnings on mostly schools fees and healthcare, I’m a mom of 4 plus 1 dependent and I know what we go through to pay school fees termly. We also pay taxes and the government extort citizens, yet we don’t enjoy any benefits from the government. We enjoy nothing , from healthcare, school fees, good roads, electricity, security, even school (shebi ASUU has been on strike for almost 8months now) infact nothing at all from the government.\n\nSo this reasons aren’t valid in my opinion, because Nigeria is currently a hell hole. I came to Toronto in 2018 to visit Canada for the first time, and I went to an Italian restaurant where they were obviously very prejudiced and did not like to see a black man eating there. My GF then forced us to stay when I expressed my unease staying in that restaurant, but the drink and the food were just disgusting and I believe they did serve us that way on purpose. I even felt like they spat in my food. For a moment, I felt like I wanted to punch the arrogant and condescend manager in a face, but the grace of God wouldn't allow me to do such thing! I am not tempted to come back there anytime soon!

Immigration to a new country is hard. It sounds like it has failed for you so you are right to try somewhere else. My parents put in the hard work and effort to have our family succeed in Canada for their children's sake. I do not remember boredom being a problem for us kids but then we loved the freedom of the outdoors even in winter. We did not rely on other people to entertain us. MY parents had to be very flexible and give up a lot of their old country ways. They did that work and we have all prospered.

They would be grateful to move to Canada for a befitting job and will be excited to pay tax. Many with good educational background don't even have any job at all. At least Canadian government takes taxes and provide good infrastructure. In Nigeria, the government takes your tax and nothing works, no jobs, no security, no healthcare, no good roads or infrastructure. It's difficult to travel inter state without being kidnapped. Your family sells all your properties and pay the ransom but still be killed. You can even be gunned down in your house or on the street just for next to nothing. All my relatives in Canada are happy with their families and are begging me to come. Even people with good jobs are moving to Canada. They're not doing it for themselves for the future of their children, for peace of mind, security and to escape poverty. \n\nIf you're in doubt please move back to Nigeria then you will know Canada is heaven. Many have resorted to prostitution and crime because they believe they don't have any other way to survive. I want to come to Canada not to get rich but to get a decent job and live a meaningful life with my family. Canada's racial teaching with CRT (Critical Race Theory) actually makes people feel more and more divided. I do have to say if you're actually worried about the cold as a factor in moving to Canada it is way less than you think. In Southern Ontario it gets to be -40C about 3-4 times a winter, and in the summer it gets to 40C 3-4 times a summer, so we have pretty diverse weather, what you should worry about is how many different kinds of clothes you'll need to buy to actually go through the four seasons.\n\nJust a quick note on Quebéc, even if you did learn french you will most likely be yelled at in french as they are for the most part very protective of french Canada and see themselves as a different country, they don't like other people very much, and the french is different to french french.
