It's not true to say education is free in Canada. Unlike the UK, in Canada every year we have to pay a contribution to school fees. Noon supervision fee, exam fees, fees for sports clubs, materials fee. It mounts up if you have a few kids. This came as a surprise to me when moving to Canada. In UK employees get much more paid vacation time from employers. I'd say life can be better in the UK in terms of work life balance but I think Healthcare is better in Canada although it can be expensive if you have no insurance for things such as dental care.

I came to Canada in 1989 with my twin sister. I haven't left Canada ever since I came in. My twin sister left Canada for good in 2023. I did not come to Canada because I needed more money. I came to Canada because I did not have a country. Canada became my home country but the crazy thing is I don't recognize the Canada I knew over the years. Many people came to Canada to take advantage of this wonderful nation. My beloved city of Toronto turned into a third world country. I'm now in Alberta where I work hard and pay my taxes. My Canada is a paradise on earth. My Canada deserves people who loves it. I had my hardship in my early years and that was what I had to go through. When new immigrants try to cut corners, I always remind them to earn their muthafuka turn. The liberal party screwed up Canada. Very true, I have only been here for few years and noticed it. Canada immigrants spin the wheel and big bosses just sit back make rules and live on the commission.
