I think your video is well done. I used to love visiting the US especially the west and have fond memories of our travels .Now we don't travel to the US because of the gun violence and so many guns. Most Canadians don't want guns and think gun control should be very strict. I am very content with the way things are in Canada. We have high taxes but we have so many benefits, like maternity leave of 12 months or more. We have free healthcare with no premiums to pay. We have at least 2 government pensions , one we help contribute to and one is totally government funded plus a guarantee supplement if needed . Most people also have a company or union \npension . Most people retire between 60 to 65 years , but its certainly not compulsory. Canada is hoping to have a 4 day work week soon. Our federal government is generous helping with supplements for food etc. We welcome newcomers and we have a very diverse population. I have traveled to different parts of the world and I am very content here.

Lived in us for 10 years and also Canada for 7. I can 100% say that life in Canada is a whole lot better then USA. Although pay is more in USA, it’s quickly eaten up by all the expenses and trust me when I say you will spend a ton. Your entire city you live in will most likely try to eat away as much of your wallet as you can. People and going outside is just better in Canada. Usa really really sucks apart from pay, especially for kids unless you live in an expensive city. People are Riddled with hate and it’s not safe for kids to play outside because something is def out to get them. Usually it’s a car or a criminal. One thing I’ve noticed is kids in USA end up doing drugs a whole lot more, because there’s not much for the kids to do. Kids can’t spend much and can’t travel far or at all, so they resort to drugs. With my hs done in highschool, a huge majority of the schools were doing one or another sort of drug. Also I’m back in Canada because life as a student is just a whole lot better then the snaky system of USA. Both suck in their own ways though, Canada a whole lot less, plan to move out to an eastern country anywya tjough.

It’s horrific how these ppl are forced to live, that is NOT life..reading the comments, it’s disheartening to see. Put yourselves in their shoes! Ask yourself many questions. Would you live your life under a corrupt government? Would you allow the Mexican police/gangs/drug lords, to walk in your home, kill your children, your family, got no reason and get away with it? Would you want to struggle just to feed your baby? Would you want to live how they live? Your country, my county is huge. But hey, it all comes down to greed and politics, right? It’s not about having compassion, it’s about these ppl taking your jobs, homes..am I right? These ppl work for Pennie’s a day, would you? We all deserve a good life, no? If you said no, then where is your God? Where is your compassion? Where is your kindness? Where is your LOVE? Oh how our world would be a much happier place if everyone thought like me. Yes, and sadly, it takes money and many other factors. \nBut if we go back 300-500 years when the white settlers came, took our land (oh I know I’m going to receive backlash and grief, hatred and stripe, and that’s ok) as a Native American person, my ppl could have fought and have y’all sent back to where y’all came from, and WE wouldn’t be living on shitty pieces of land, but every day we are grateful for what we have…don’t call me a savage, most of my family are white just like y’all LOL! But if we won, made you go back to where you came, would you have gone freely? Hell no! We HAD rights, and it was taken away….and take a long hard look at what’s happening today! Country against country..race against race..ppl no longer believe in God and our world is turn to shit…ppl walk past a homeless child and do fuck all (I’ve seen it many times..and yes, I help) stop being so fucking greedy, if you want to help take care of your homeless, then get off your asses and start helping your homeless ppl…will that happen? He’ll no! Why? Because YOU people who are against these ppl who want a better life in America, won’t even make an effort to help your own, now isn’t this called “calling the kettle black” because you simply walk past them, you stare at them with disgust! So don’t be hypocrites! And don’t go and make comments about acting like you truly care for your homeless when you couldn’t give two-shits about your own! \nSad, really fucking sad!

Yea the province of Vancouver is the place most people think of , not the whole province of B.C.\nYou can enjoy all the tent towns that are everywhere, because of the cost of a house in that city. But I shouldn't forget to mention that B.C. just made it legal to buy and have small amounts of crack heroin and fentanyl if you want to visit your doped out friends on the east side Vancouver.

Many countries purport themselves to be better at some thing than another country. I hear a lot of Canadians. Criticize other countries for their pollution, or CO2 emissions and oil production. Interestingly enough, Canada is in the top three largest CO2 emitted is due to the oil and gas industry Per capita than most other countries. So, if people are concerned about the environment, they should understand where Canada really stands.\n\nAdditionally, I think it could be important for you to talk about how expensive things are in Canada. Canadians pour over the border into the United States for better housing to go to Costco and grocery stores and shop for clothes and large appliances, and to avoid high taxation. They also come to the United States for better schools, better work conditions and higher pay. In fact, the joke is people immigrate to Canada as a steppingstone to eventually immigrate to the United States, which is why Canada has a big problem keeping educated talented people.\n\nSafety nets for society certainly have their importance however, socialist policies do not work the best. All they do is dumb down society by destroying competition and quality and quantity of and even accessibilities goods and services.

First, I want to thank you for making this video. The health of a country, or the health of an individual which are clearly linked, is dependent on our ability to see ourselves and each other, and make necessary changes to improve in the areas that we lack personally, and as communities in our beautiful country of Canada and other countries as well. Most have no water to drink—not even boiled water and bottled water is available sometimes when it’s brought to reservations . Children don’t have the same access to books. So many thousands of bodies of children taken to residential schools from their parents arms and community for over 160 years yet the deep wounds aren’t given compassion by most people anymore and systemic abuse actively impacts them and therefore all of Us . We are all one whether we see people as other’ or not. We’re humans. \n They’re not seen in media unless it’s a bad story yet we’re only now teaching one mandatory class by non indigenous people. Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. Making canoes, baskets, sacred ceremonies, food growing (that they taught to pilgrims so they’d survive here), etc. No, I’m not indigenous. I’m an immigrant like all but the first people. They’ve an amazing culture that’s been all but lost . When we don’t see ourselves represented in any media, any careers, and start our lives in extended poverty based on our race, and all that was taken still today, it’s no wonder the teen suicide rate for indigenous youth is more than double / triple all non - indigenous youth. The numbers are growing. \nI live in Care due to my physical disabilities . An international nursing student worked for me providing personal care like showers, meal prep etc and over that year, she said she wouldn’t have moved here specifically because of a few things I’ve mentioned. She told me Canada was sold to people in her country of origin as a ‘multicultural’ safe haven without extreme racism still prevalent today and within our history. \n\nI’m ashamed of Canadian government promises for over 100 years that aren’t fulfilled. All children deserve healthy drinking Water and an education. Period. Especially, the ambassadors of this amazing land that they see as themselves without separation. That’s accurate. We will have nothing to stand upon if we don’t protect the earth. It will go on without us. \n\nI see many things in the comments I’ve seen or experienced, unfortunately. This is a beautiful country for so many reasons. I know it's a business, but hey at the end of the day everything is about money... you want to start a business, gotta have money, u want to study abroad you gotta have money, you want to eat healthy and good food, you gotta have money, you want to live on a nice apartment YOU GOTTA MAKE MONEY!!! so at the end of the day everything is a business. Stop blaming the system and make the most out of it. The only way not to spend money is if you are buried down 10 meters on the ground lol i hate when people want good things and complain about money. Make the most out of that international experience, money comes and goes so dont stress too much about money. Im Speaking from a point where i studies abroad and i make good money i have my own business and i keep growing.

I grew up in Calgary, two hours south. I've dealt with it on many levels, sometimes blatantly obvious, most times a series of micro aggressions that make you want to explode and destroy everything when it happens. As much pain it's caused over decades it's made me stronger as well as smarter. I will also say this and I can stress this enough, because of the demographics most of my friends are white and THEY HAVE MY BACK. in almost every aspect life will throw at me, they're ride or die people, I can say this with the utmost confidence The difference for me between Canada and the states is I'm not fighting alone if and when a situation comes up, there's people I can call if needed. Canada has it's issues no question and I could easily go ballistic when it happens to me or anyone I know, but we're not as bad as the states. I believe you can be heard.

As a Canadian I'd just like to say, she's so wrong. Africans love Canada, and we love them. Now, African Americans, thats a tricky one. Its not about the colour of ur skin, its about attitudes. 90% of the time when dealing with African Americans, u can tell their waiting and looking for racism, get upset when they dont find it. The victim mentality is a real turn off. Again, go ask some Africans about life in Canada, i bet u get more positive than negative. The American black culture is the problem for most people, in most places, including America itself. Not that many people in the developed world are shopping for an alternative country. So I imagine most Americans and most Canadians will be content with their nation of birth. But as a Canadian, I have to admit I'm a bit scared of the US. The level of violent crime down there is such that _many_ (not all) people feel they need guns for personal security. American prison rates testify to a level of desperation and alienation that is _not_ appealing to me. I don't want to live somewhere where owning a deadly weapon seems like a sensible idea! Also, as a struggling creative/entertainment person, I can't guarantee I'll be consistently earning good money – there are plenty of lean times in my biz. I don't want to be repeatedly worrying about my health coverage disappearing, whenever work dries up. I've never had that type of anxiety in Canada, and I sure appreciate that. Btw, although the Canadian health system is a long way from perfect, I've always managed to get appropriate care, according to my needs, quickly enough, at no cost to myself. And currently, I really like my GP _and_ my specialists!

If you understood the s*** that was going down in Venezuela, you would be fighting for these people to have Asylum here. Do you know how much of Texas is unoccupied? Like SO much of it. It's not a very densely populated state. It can take years for Asylum Seekers to go through the process legally. Don't they deserve some level of safety while the process is sorted out? And instead we keep instituting policies that make things even more difficult and create even more tension. Nobody is fully in the right here necessarily, but people really need to start approaching this with much more empathy and Humanity. If you guys really have such a problem with all the migrants being in Texas, there's always Wyoming. Nobody lives in Wyoming. There's plenty of space in Texas, of course, since most people live around the Metropolitan areas.... But Texas isn't always known for its warm fuzzies. Wyoming is just Cheyenne and a bunch of wind. I certainly don't see the harm.

Hold on now I will agree white Canadians are passive aggressive (sneaky) she called it but as a black American who has lived and worked for 28 plus years in Canada (Ontario) Alberta is the Texas of Canada so hill Billys rednecks not the most sophisticated people in the country I’ve never felt discriminated against and have always found great employment here . As a person of Colour in a mostly white country it’s not realistic to not expect some bigoted white peoples it’s just not, their the majority so their always going to be that way. But overall I never feel unsafe here in Ontario very diverse area lots of Muslims, asians, native Americans Africans and tons of Carribeans from all over the West Indies . I am descendant of Latinos, and I do not agree with this administration has caused. I met someone in a Walmart parking lot from Venezuela. He had been here in Atlanta for 10 days and didn’t know anyone. He told me he came to the US because Biden promised all Venezuelans asylum and therefore be legalized in the US. So I genuinely asked him how his country was, and he said that things were very difficult; not being able to afford basic things, so then I said “well, I’m sure that is the result of the presidents decisions, most precisely socialism/communism,” I thought he was going to agree and he said “no, our president and former president had good ideas and plans.” My point is that all of these people coming from Venezuelan are fleeing their country because of the negative situation that sadly is taking place in their country, however their mindsets have been corrupted by thinking they deserve to have “free” things. All of these ppl will be legalized and they will be able to vote very soon, so these ppl will vote democrat because they were given this opportunity by Biden. This is a very demonic man by the left, and sadly this will cause a lot negative results to the US. It’s too late to revert this, soon we will see the negative consequences of what this administration is causing to this country ?

As a child of a first generation immigrant, this is horrible and WRONG. My dad and his family fled Nicaragua in the late 80's when the socialists took over. And it was a real war zone. The government stole their land, homes, and k!lled people they knew. On the way to the airport my dad (who was a small child at the time) saw dead bodies in the street. Thankfully they made it to the USA and were able to rebuild their lives and become proud American citizens. They did it LEGALLY. It makes me so mad when I see footage like this. Lots of racist people serotype Hispanic Americans negatively because of these criminals. Why is our government doing nothing about this???? The cost of living is unbearable already and we have a major housing crisis. It is NORMAL to have a border! Why is that so hard for some people to understand???? It's a national security crisis. I swear this is the most incompetent administration I've ever seen in my lifetime.

The UK is pretty much like Canada, now. There is only room for the 5% who are rich (the capitalists & rentiers) and the 35% of people on Benefits (the 35% of population who live off welfare paid for by the State using the hard-working tax payer's money). The honest, hard-working middle-class (about 50 to 60% of society) are absolutely screwed and doomed, because all they can now do is keep working their guts out till they drop dead, and never hope to have a decent life. The culture of state-funded Welfare has now gotten so bad that I now live in a street where some 30% of the people who live off Welfare have been given State funded houses, and those houses which are bigger and better than mine (all paid for using my tax money). And I have slogged my entire life (I am 65 now) to pay off a large mortgage on a house that eventually has lower value than the houses that people on Welfare are given on the same Street! Worse still, now that I am approaching the stage where I might need to go into a Care Home, my house (which I worked for my entire life to attain) will have to be sold off to pay for my Care Home costs. While my neighbours who never worked a single day in their life (and whose life was subsidized using my tax money) will again get free state-funded Care Home facility too! It utterly beggars belief. \n\nWhen state-funded Welfare gets to a point that doing an honest day's work actually penalizes you, because all you are doing is funding the lifestyles of the other half of society who wish to sponge off State Welfare (due to the high taxes the Government is forced to impose on the working middle-class to support the 35% on State benefits), then that society can never prosper, firstly because it removes the motivation to work hard, and secondly because some day the Government will run out of money to continuing funding the lavish lifestyles of people on State Welfare. And that is very much now the state of affairs in countries like Canada, the UK, and much of EU. It is an unsustainable model. \n\nBy contrast, in countries like the US, China, India, etc. there is a much greater correlation between hard work and reward. Choosing to not go to work and sponging off Governmental welfare is simply not an option. And that is precisely why countries like these will continue to prosper in the coming years - because they have some form of Meritocracy. Unfortunately, I think countries like the UK, Canada, and most western EU countries are looking at a downward spiral, and there are no easy solutions, because their Welfare model has already created these huge segments of society which depend on it and will not allow it to be demolished - but the day is fast approaching where they will all soon run out of money to continue funding it (most of these countries are already facing huge Debt-GDP ratios, and there is no conceivable way of them coming out of it).

The world can't fucking live here they need to solve some of their own problems. Somehow The United States of America was able to be a successful concept. We are no more mineral resource rich than most of these other countries. Why can't they ever succeed like we did. Or European nations did. I just don't understand it. One thing I do know is that the entire world population can't be shoved into this fucking country without the entire thing breaking, becoming just like the rest of these Third World shitholes these people come from.

As painful as this sounds the Venezuelan people are no good. They bring violence and theft to any country they enter. They steal citizens job and help their own. Nobody told me, I lived through it in my country and all we want is for them to leave. The saddest part is that most of these immigrants are infiltrated communists from the Maduro regime. The Mexicans at least are hard workers.

Even tho I don’t think this is correct, U.S people luckily finds themselves on a good position to see this just as people making a tantrum to enter the U.S, proudly I say I’m Mexican American and I’ve lived in Mexico and Brasil as well, non of those Latin American countries I lived is as bad as Venezuela and even like that I’ve seen some very messed up shit, they are countries with a huge culture and beautiful but on the lowest levels it’s a pretty dark place to be…so for the USA people here that is heavily throwing shit, be some kind of human try to understand at least , I get it, I don’t think this is the way neither, but they are not just people trying to invade to take over or whatever, I even saw a comment saying that they should shoot those Venezuelans, the world is a pretty messed up thing now, and luckily or unluckily we don’t really know a shit about it, they are DESPERATE it seem like they were violent and most probably some of them tried to get violent but most of them is just desperate people trying to have it better in their only and one only lives..worst yet, if you have a kid, imagine how worried would you feel for not being able to provide your kid with a good life… see the people in the front for example, they were people begging and crying, is being desperate for having something better, and this is a really biiiiiiig subject with a lot of issues, wrongs, misunderstanding… you don’t know how bad is going in Venezuela, not even me, but I can imagine it cuz I know how bad some people have it in Mexico, and they don’t know how them illegally getting into the US is going to affect the US, I try to get all points so I don’t think this is correct, this kind of events shouldn’t be happening, but I also understand, just to put it in perspective, I’ve talked with some people from Venezuela and they’ve told me some crazy stuff, quick example. McDonalds something most American people know …for one person only it can be around 15 - 20 bucks, in Venezuela, and I think minimum wage rn is around 6.15 bucks and if it’s good it can be around 20 - 30 A MONTH, now apply this formula to EVERYTHING, housing, bills, expenses and I think things in Venezuela for a little bit better not that long ago,so it was worst than what I just told you, imagine you finish college you have somehow of a decent life and for things you don’t understand and no one advise you of, next week your job, money is not even half of the value it had last week, imagine if it was you and your family, your kids…I don’t have kids but I know my mom would’ve done anything for trying and give me not even a luxurious life, but a kinda decent life, and I know most of people would’ve done the same, and not only for your kids, also your mom, dad, sisters, brothers and even YOURSELF…again, I’m not saying this is correct or it’s not I’m just saying at the end our surrounding make us do whatever we are doing….I get you not being okay with this, but try to be comprensible and not go straight into hate for this people. \n\nUnfortunately I wouldn’t imagine anything to solve this problem and I hope something better comes for the entire world right now …but I just doubt it…

We exploit the fuck out of their country and collude with their most corrupt politicians and businessman and they have basically ran it dry. Now other people are desperate and coming here for help and we’re turning them away. Pretty ironic and pretty sad. By the way I agree that they need to immigrate like anyone else. It’s just a sad state of affairs and we’re completely two-faced as a country.

Why they don't use the same aggression getting in our country. Use that aggression against their own country. Fight for their rights. They are lazy. Our country bleed to get we are at. They are poorer countries in rich in what they have. Yet all those people can take over the country that are coming here. There isn't just families coming here. There are mostly men coming here. Most of them are addicts. I know there are some need of help. But I believe it is a very small percentage. I've seen illegals getting drunk and high. Not getting charge with a crime when committed. That sad. America needs to help self first before help any country of their problems. Love and peace ✌

What I don't understand is how much does it cost the middle class to feed educate house and provide healthcare to these people. Most of whom are seeking economic asylum.. Because if they were seeking safety ,,they'd stop at the first safe area..

This shouldn't be necessary, I agree people should fight to make their own country better, and people do need to think about the socioeconomic reality of their own country when hosting immigrants as well.\n\nBut at the same time, it's kind of sad to see so many people not just worrying about it but literally hating people as if they were all dangerous criminals who come to kill you and steal your job, and not just loving fathers and mothers doing the same that a lot of your parents and grandparents did hundreds of years ago. Looking for a better future. But people love fighting and hating for flags and borders.\n\nLet's not forget that the whole modern America (the continent) was funded by immigrants and colonizers. And most people complaining are not exactly native Americans.

Unfortunately we can thank Biden for this! When most of us can't even find affordable housing I wonder where all of these people are actually going to sleep? People are out in their cars their campers their vans and some are on bicycles sleeping under the stars. So I wish the migrants good luck most Americans are not happy about the situation we will see what kind of reception they get.

I am a for immigrants but this need to be fixed. How to fix it, is charge American a $10,000 fine if you hire a illegal. Then make these people apply from home where we have time to check there background and then given a date to come. A wall does not work so we need drones and more people on the boarder. Most of these people do not and we only need so many fruit pickers. Also I think new immigrants should be required to take a class to learn the ways of the country so they do not accidentally cause conflicts and problems.

Funfact i know a buddy who works in the border patrol and they are secretly allowing people in most of the time and usually catch few people on purpose to ensure they are doing thier job and its not just where he is its in every boarder.

I totally get it, but they are looking for a better life. But they need to understand why America is the greatest country in the world. The problem with a lot of these people is that they would vote for the same policies in the same things that ruin their home country and they would vote for that here in America. If our country goes to ruins, there’s nowhere for anybody to run. They need to migrate here the legal way or no way at all. Most of them would work for five dollars a day that is going to drive the price of labor down.

Folks, I need to educate many for a second. When you immigrate to this country you DO NOT become a citizen when you get legal clearance. You can become a permanent resident at best which means you can live, work and do most other things here legally. You DO NOT get to vote or work in government agencies as a lawful permanent resident. To become a citizen you have to wait a minimum of 3 years, or more depending on your permanent resident status, to then apply for citizenship. You then apply for the citizenship application and if accepted the process requires you to take a test and go through a series of questions about U.S. history and government knowledge in an interview that you need to pass, before you are awarded citizenship. Through this process you are SUPPOSED to be committing yourself to the United States of America as someone who denounces your allegiance to your old country and is now pledging your allegiance to the U.S. This is now your home country and you treat it as such. You are now an AMERICAN, not a whatever from wherever that just lives in America. It should be a big deal and one to be proud of. I know people that have been here for 25 years as a permanent resident and they still have no desire to become a citizen. They have lived off of this country, raised families in this country, worked and benefitted from this country and still align with their old country and are completely amiss to what it means to become a U.S. citizen. There is a reason that only citizens are allowed to vote! Because you should have an allegiance to America and should vote accordingly and not be allowed to work in our governmental agencies for the same reason. Legal status and citizenship are NOT the same.

The lies that are being told to these people to make them put themselves at risk to come here is disgusting. Do you all honestly think the U.S. can handle this influx? Many, many of these people have no home to go to, no money, no assets, no idea where they are going. The democrats are using them as pawns in their political agendas. They throw them a couple of bones to make them decide to make the trip and then don't give a crap about them after. And to take the money that us Americans work hard for and pay for this is despicable. We paid 40k in taxes and special programs last year and we don't get a single word in as to where it gets spent. Our social security will be eaten up by the time we are old enough to collect it and we will probably never use disability due to a moral standard. I'd much rather keep all of our $ and then give it to whom I feel deserves it. Many of these people are not bad people, but they will use our handouts and most will not try or have the ability to get off of them. This administration is the most inhumane, America hating administration I have ever witnessed or heard of here in the U.S.

My dad and grandma were immigrants they became U.S. citizens and always worked and didn't expect anything for free. Never asked for anything other than the opportunity to work for a living. Can someone tell me if Canada is a good place to move for a couple of years? I'm from the UK but lived in Spain for most of my life. The reason I want to leave Spain is because the average salary is low and job security I.E work contracts are all terrible unless you're in a big city like Madrid or Barcelona. Plus I live in a tourist/ retired destination so work here is seasonal as we are only busy over the summer time and trying to meet people around my age 20, 30s is difficult. I've heard so many good things about Canada from people I know but looking into some more I'm seeing that there's a big financial issue for those who plan to move over as the taxes are very high. I'm just looking to come over for a couple of years, save some money and then move back to the UK. If anyone that has travelled to Canada for a few years could let me know what its like now that would be great ?.

This a Biden Admin blunder. When you advertise to the world that the US has free lunch, don’t be surprised when the border gets bum rushed. Canada is doomed, one of the only reasons why this country has stayed afloat is because of the insane taxes, I bought 3 monster energies today and they were 8 dollars but with tax added up it was 16 dollars, absolutely insane. I left China to avoid a brewing housing crisis and ironically I now live in Canada ?. I have seen first hand how a blind government can be overly dependent on real estate because it does generate a huge revenue in the short term. But most short sighted politicians failed to understand that the housing market is similar to the stock market, the value of houses can rise but it's just a bubble.
