I feel for anyone being discriminated against, here its really hard to get an apartment if you are on assistance, ODSP. Is for disability of many types. All you need to do to see it is go on kijiji. I’m not colored obviously but I have been on disability and lower income. I’m always getting fallowed too by store clerks at Walmart, I must just have that poor look idk?!?! I don’t like to wear makeup butI don’t think that makes me look that bad. It has gotten so bad that I have confronted the clerks when they just have to randomly come to the isleI im in and stock. It’s really apparent. When I leave an Isle and they seem to need to stock the exact next else im going to somewhere else in in the store!

I think everyone has their own bias / opinion for any person. Regardless if they are the same race or different. People of the same race can dress differently and people will have different opinions. All we can do is to be our best not to behave in a rude or hurtful way. And I feel for the most part, in major multicultural areas, Canadians are doing their part. \nSome of the tests in the video seem a bit too high level. It's not really scientific. You can't make any definite conclusions from it.

I think it’s really sad that asking someone if they need help is seen as racism.

I’ve had uncomfortable interactions in retail stores here in Australia, because I’m a young mum (well not anymore but I have been, I had one baby at 19,21,25 and 27). Purely because they perceived me as a skank and drain on the tax payer to them. I’ve had someone ask if I had a concession card (low income/singles) and when I said “no” they’ve said “really?” Or asked me again as though I didn’t hear them. I’ve had people ask if my children all had the same dad. I would hate to think of how that would be exacerbated if I was a person of colour. I never judge anyone on first impressions but a lot of people do. It’s really sad.

I don't know if the computer test is as accurate as it could be. I know for myself when I took it presenting the e key as bad and black and the i key as good and white then reversing it once you got in a rhythem really messed me up. We need to have a little bit of compassion for Muslims who are struggling with this. Imagine that you were born into Islam. You didn't ask for it. You just happened to be unlucky enough to be born into a Muslim country and raised under it. That's when they will realize that Muhammad invented the entire thing so that people would obey him and treat him like a god on Earth. That's when they will realize that he was a 7th century man who knew nothing about the scientific knowledge that we have now in this century. That's when they will realize that the Quran is filled with threats of punishment and violence for not believing and not obeying the supposed word of God given to them by Muhammad. I am really fed up with this eternal racial stereotyping of white people. You'd think whites were the only racists on this planet. Not so. Not at all.

It is NOT just race. Depending on the bag or backpack you carry, you get followed, which I hate. And I'm not black. My mother also gets followed everywhere in every Macy's store. It drives me crazy. It's really annoying, because I think it's because my mom has big purses and I usually have my art backpack. \n\nWhen I'm in a different town, I get followed in Walmart all the time. If I forget my shopping bags, I will empty my backpack so I can use that to put all my items in at the end of the purchase.\n\n In Best Buy, I'm lucky to get anyone to help me at all!!! I have to hunt someone down, and most of the time, they don't know anything anyway. Target: I have a hard time finding anyone to help me as well. I haven't really done a social experiment, but sometimes I just have my shopping bags and fill them as I shop and I won't carry a purse.\n\nLocally, I don't get followed because my family and me are known in that town. We know a lot of people and my face is everywhere. I never get followed. But out of town Walmart, I get followed in certain stores. It irritates me immensely, especially since I buy a lot of make up and the make up department is cramped they way they block the end of the aisles. It makes it really hard to turn your cart around when other people are in the same aisle. Then they close the make up aisle even though they have tons of cameras all over!! \n\nOverall, I don't know WHERE these backhanded compliments are coming from. I normally hear stuff about my weight. Moving to Vancouver was a great experience tbh, I'm of nigerian heritage but was born in Finchley, North London...\nCanadians are friendly and extremely welcoming ( Coming from the UK i found this so off-putting ) lol. Yes I ran into racial profiling when I wanted to ask why CBC is biased and won't report fairly. Being white and male, I was told that my opinion is invalid, and in spite of the taxes I pay for their wages, I don't have any say. Hello, I'm Afro-Latin and I just have one question, it's Canada a good place for black people who want to go there to live, will my kids be save of racism being black????? And at this point there is not really a place free of racism in the whole world, very often I heard that if your are black and Latino you are f....k twice, like you have to work double or triple to be recognized, it doesn't matter your skill level. I've been doing a research about which country will be better for my family and raise my kids, and log time I was thinking that Canada was the way to go but I'm not so sure now, but thing is that when you try to search, at least in youtube or google places where black people can generally live without any concerns, there is almost none. ?!

I bet you people at Vice News even still think Justin Trudeau is some great awesome prime minister for standing up to the big mean US president. Yet you can't see past your rose colored glasses that he really isn't going to do a damn thing to help the illegal immigrants he promised to welcome. He'll deport them just like the big mean president. He'll just wait till they've spent all their money in Canada first.
