In which PROVINCE! Canada doesn't use the words 'state'.
|
| 2023-06-19 | 0 |
SO, who gives you this right to judge which province is best !\nObservations are not what they always seem to be. \nYou are using inferences to judge and inferences are not always what they may actually be.

As true as this is, there is ZERO context being provided in this video. She didn’t need to provide names but being that vague only makes this convo extremely surface level and easy to manipulate because it comes across as vapid and agenda-serving when both the clips and the commentary BOTH are severely lacking in nuance and context! \n\nBy the way, Alberta is a CONSERVATIVE stronghold province. All of Western Canada basically is. The East is the Liberal stronghold. So no, Canada isn’t actually a liberal country, tbh.

Yea the province of Vancouver is the place most people think of , not the whole province of B.C.\nYou can enjoy all the tent towns that are everywhere, because of the cost of a house in that city. But I shouldn't forget to mention that B.C. just made it legal to buy and have small amounts of crack heroin and fentanyl if you want to visit your doped out friends on the east side Vancouver.

Good video, however I disagree that Qc is the best province to live. If you dont speak french you wont go far, specially now with Bill 96. \nAlso, rents are not cheap at all in Montréal, and people arent as friendly ( they are cold as the winter), endless construction causes way too much traffic. Of course that is only my opinion as I ve lived here for 13 years ?

Certain parts except Quebec should secede to the US just imagine how much the US would invest in those oil and gas fields and let’s be honest Quebec has been trying to secede for a long time and provinces like Alberta are literally more integrated with American-states than they are with their Canadian counterparts.

To be fair, Alberta is the most conservative province in Canada. We call it the Texas of Canada for a reason...\nMaybe she wasnt aware of this, but she would have been better off moving one of the other provinces. Like Ontario or British Columbia.

I don't know if this is all true... I have been all over Canada province's and always treated like a celebrity, opening doors, compliments, and hospitality, especially in Edmonton, where I spent over a week at the biggest mall in the world. I know they don't like Asians with the biggest complaints of them taking over buying up all the land. I have tons of Canadian friends who have never treated me badly but respectfully.

The fact that you are from the USA disqualify you to enable you to rank the best provinces or country in this world.

Hilarious. Education? LOL. I was born, lived and worked in 5 provinces and can safely say the education is far from world class. Geographically Canada is amazing beyond that, we fall below many many nations in many areas and oh, I've lived in 3 other countries. Most of our problems are directly due to the federal government.

Its not just one race that deals with discrimination. I do think some provinces are definitely worse than others:(

Well, well!Only in Canada, you say .How about the US,France and other countries in the world? I assume that there are no homeless people in the US or France...How many thousands and thousands die from drugs in the US and other countries in the world.Yes,the governments should do better and find/build special housing for these people. They should set up special\nclinics in order to detoxify these drug addicts. The problem is that people don't want to have these clinics in their neighbourhood because they are afraid of fights, their houses will go down\nin value and so on.I saw a documentary about the homeless people and I was surprised and not surprised about what they are saying. There is what they call the Old House Brewery in\nMontreal and there are about 50 beds (or more) and the homeless people can sleep, eat and shower. There are a lots of then who refuse to go to this place, some say that so people were\nmaking noises at night and they prefer to sleep under bridges ..Homeless people are everywhere in the world.DON'T FORGET THAT IT 'S ALSO THE JOB OF THE PROVINCES TO FIND\nSHELTERS FOR THESE PEOPLE...

Yes! Alberta is the Florida of Canada. Terrible province but the rest of the country is much better, not perfect, but much better.
|
| 2023-06-01 | 0 |
Maybe it's cause she went to a province that was more insular and homogeneous. I heard in Quebec mostly they can be that way . I imagine living in Canada would be similar to the Pacific Northwest states . I have some friends who are Hoosiers (rednecks) from up north . It's a mindset thing I think , yeah there's folks who don't like you no matter where you go, it doesn't matter it's about you .

American here who spent three glorious years in Canada (Montréal) for university. I fell in love with the country and have visited all ten provinces and one territory. I desperately wanted to stay in Canada and was so emotional that I literally cried when my student visa expired and I had to return to the States. Fast forward 40 years, I've had a pretty good life here in the States and was able to retire comfortably at 55. I hesitated to watch this video because I thought it would make me feel bad about my situation, but I think it (and the comments) actually made me feel OK with how my life turned out. I now realize that no place is perfect -- not even Canada.

Phillip why would you rely on the rantings of one disgruntled individual's opinion of one province (state ) in Canada, and accuse all Canadians of racism and white supremacy. How do you know that she was truthful, or just trying to go viral?
|

Dunno what you're smoking but quebec is the absolute WORST province in Canada, and BC by far the BEST!!

47 years old biracial whos lived in a few provinces and travelled the country. Everything shes saying is FACTS and some. But tbh idgaf i live my life to the fullest. ?

I find it funny that the top two provinces also stereotypically have the worst people.
|
| 2023-05-23 | 0 |
As a person that's traveled to 8/10 of the provinces Quebec was by far the most prejudice to outsiders. Don't get me wrong the large majority were great people but there's a small percentage that make you feel very unwelcome for not being able to speak/understand French that through me off.

Alberta is our alabama. You'll find the biggest concentration of redneck bigots and canadian trump retards in alberta. Its also the most americanised province.
|
| 2023-05-15 | 5 |
The best province in Canada :is Ontario : lots of thinks to do and see and you can always find a job if you are not lazy. ..\nSecond is BC (accept the housing and hotel prices) and the third Alberta if you have a job and that means that oil industry is going ... - if not just go to Ontario.

I can’t go where I am not wanted, never dreamed of it , even here in some provinces where they don’t like my tribe I am not gonna set foot there \nSimple

She should just relocate her life will be better. Alberta is generally western and backward like some old Alabama. Even the Cree natives face the same treatment. Most people are ignorant. There’s a reason blacks naturally settled in the better province of Ontario, Quebec if you’re French speaker and British Columbia. Also New Brunswick Nova Scotia is still better than that cold Calgary.

Actually, Edmonton Alberta is one of the most staunch conservative ( republican) parts of Canada. I have lived in a neighboring province for more than 60 years now and have observed them vote in conservative governments for all but about 10 of those years.
|

It is also interesting that Alberta the the Province ie State that the sister is taking about also have the largest American born and American descended population in Canada. Attracted no doubt by the robust oil industry

alberta and the western provinces are all mostly red/conservative, they do not like Aboriginals, Blacks, east or south Asians. If you come to Canada come to southern Ontario, yet, as you know, if you are Black, you will not fully escape racism nearly anywhere.
|
| 2023-05-14 | 0 |
As a Jamaican Canadian I experience some anti-black racism all my life. The worst was at a few workplaces and a couple of visits to Montreal. I live in Toronto and it's here to, but not that bad. the western provinces besides BC are the worst. Quebec and the Atlantic provinces are also bad. My advice to all my brothas and sistahs that want to live in Canada is that you live in the GTA in Ontario. One other thing Do not live in Brampton, or you will be discriminated by another immigrant group which I won't say but some know.
|
| 2023-05-14 | 0 |
The most racism province in Canada, is Quebec, is the French Quebecer is most racism!
|
| 2023-05-14 | 0 |
Alberta is a right wing conservative majority province. My grandmother was a black Jamaican. I have lived in Ontario, Canada for 36 years. And I haven't seen or experienced biting racism. Not all of Canada is f*cked up, just the political right!?

I am a POC of Indian origin. I worked in five provinces in Canada and I was discriminated every where I went. Now I am retired on a very small income and so I have to live in a rent geared to income apartment, and here to I am discriminated, harassed and then evicted because them folks falsely accused me.
\nThe young black lady is right, white Canadians are sneaky when discriminating against POC.
\nThe only way to over come them folks is to discriminate against them, do not mix, mingle or associate with them folks (YT). I practice discriminating them folks in this way.

Thank you, Sister. Fellow Canadian born national here from Ontario. I am MOST AWARE of what it's like in Calgary, Edmonton. You forgot to mention Quebec and the East Coast provinces. \nWe all know the Province of Alberta is Klan and White Nationalist country !!

I wish Canada did more R&D. We have the talent and brains to be innovative, yet so many of us go work in the oil & natural gas sector because it pays handsomely.\nAlso to live in the most scenic provinces like BC and Ontario is crazy expensive. We moved from AB to BC in 2009 which my parents bought their house for $550,000 that's situated 40km East of Vancouver, and today their house is valued at 1.4 million... almost 3 times the original purchase price in just over a decade. Now an adult, my wife and I were forced to move back to Alberta and leave our families because we simply cannot afford to rent there nor ever have an honest shot at saving enough money to buy our own place. It is what it is and I'm sure it's a common theme that's not only exclusive to Canada, but man, it does sucks. I'm happy for any immigrants to move here and call Canada their home too, but many are loaded with money and purchase numerous properties just to then rent it out at an absurd rate because they can. It's fueling the problem worst and making it unfair for the born & raised Canadians.

I’m 20 and I’ve basically given up on home ownership if the status quo stays the same. House prices are unaffordable. Hot shots from up in Toronto have bought up huge amounts of the available housing leaving supply low and there is low availability of rentals due to a high influx of new residents. The “starter house” market has been completely eroded; there is no $100k houses anymore or even $200k, new developments are like 5, 6 or 700k or more and the old houses that used to be cheap are now 3-500k. \n\nI don’t want to leave town for now because I help care for my elderly grandfather, but in a few years I’m going to jump ship and leave either the province or Canada. You have to go where you can afford to live.

I think people with You Tube videos promoting Canada as a place to live are paid to do those videos. \nYour assessment regarding Canada is bang on. \nI feel sad for people who come here with the belief that their lives will be better, Only to find out that they are far worse off. \nI've noticed the cost of groceries and housing have tripled in the last few years.\nVery difficult to get a Dr in Canada. 50.000 people in my small province are without a Dr. \nPeople are being neglected by Canada's healthcare system to the point of dying right in the hospital waiting rooms or while waiting for an ambulance. Yet, A huge chunk of taxes go toward healthcare. \nHomeless encampments are on the rise as landlords are gouging people for exorbitant rent. Streets are lined with homeless people and with the high cost of living it could be anyone of us carting our humble belongings around in a shopping cart.\nIf you have children I'd avoid sending them to Canadian schools and opt for homeschooling. Your children will be read to by drag queens while sitting on some strangers lap. \nThis week in class my neighbors son class will be showing boys how to paint their nails. They've already been taught about every kind of sexual position and how to use condoms and butt plugs. Yes, Even elementary students!\nThe school libraries are filled with books that promote pedophilia. \nThey want your children dumbed down and sexualized at an early age.\nWars are instigated because the greedy globalists want the land and resources and the politicians regardless of their colors are all in the pockets of a few elitists who rule over the many.\nThe globalists know that war creates all of the things they support. \nDepopulation, Refugees, Who they want for cheap Labor, Land the refugees left behind for the resources to fill their troughs with. \n\nMy apologies for the long diatribe and Thank You Sir for being an honest and informative voice regarding the truth about Canada. \n\nI was born and raised here and my dream is to leave. \nEven Russia or China is starting to look good compared to Canada.

This makes me mad because I live in Newfoundland one of the coldest provinces. And in winter you don't need 2 pairs of pants 5 socks 3 jackets yes you need mittens and a hat but it's not that's bad you won't look like it olaf was a human if you spend 5 seconds outside

Politics is Canadas biggest problem. The idiots in ontario keep electing incompetent people to run the country. If the western provinces (Saskatchewan, Alberta, BC) seperated from Canada and became our own country we would be one of the best and wealthiest countries. And what would be left of Canada would collapse in a matter of months. There would be a civil war but western Canada would easily win.

There is a mistake 1:04 into the video. Ya forgot to include Newfoundland as a province. Is there no data for NFL?

Quebec definitely is the best Canadian province. I lived there (in Montreal) for 5 years and now I am living in Vancouver (10 months). I look forward to my return home to Montreal.

The golden age in Canada is gone. I graduated from a good university with a well paying profession and I’m jumping ship to move to China in September. It just doesnt make any sense to live in Canada anymore. I cant buy a home unless its in a province that is FREEZING. Thats not the life I want to live and there will be many more like me leaving Canada due to unaffordable housing. Canada has a very grim outlook and I wont be a part of it.

big problem with the housing is also trudeau taking in so many immigrants and refugees before having enough available housing for everybody. I think they were taking in 200k people a year. while we need atleast 1million new houses within the next 10 years in order to supply enough to the population. There was also an issue with forieign purchases where people from other countries were buying houses in canada and nobody living in them. Trudeaus votes comes from majority indian people and arabic since thats a lot of the population in canada, and to win those votes and get more hes friendly with them accepting a lot of immigrants from those countries, its not a bad thing since a lot are very well educated and their peaceful people for the most part, but the problem is there isn't enough housing. Even renting has become competitive , owning is near impossible without help. Trudeau really messed up the country, houses are riduclously expensive and they often go into bidding wars if in a good area, banks interest rates keep going up now, loans are harder to take out, sadly we need to limit the amount of immigrants that come into the country until the right number of houses are built in the country, if anything new and major cities need ot be build in other locations with jobs in order to get more people spread out around the provinces. Once there is enough houses and jobs i believe the doors should be open to whomever wishes to come (obviously with a background check) but until then there should be a limit so the houses stop going up.

Can I apply if I have graduated from Ontario and have 1 yr of work experience under teer 2 in Ontario so can I be eligible to apply if I find designated employer in any Atlantic province?
|
| 2023-04-25 | 1 |
In these kind of comparaisons, it's always important to keep in mind that Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories. Each province and territory have their own way of doing things. So it's pretty much like 13 countries into 1. One thing in Ontario is not gonna be the same as in BC for example. So, whatever someone experiences in Ontario will not be the same elsewhere. Like taxes for example, it's different from 1 province to another. So, it's best for someone who wants to move to Canada to do their research on each province because they do things differently from one another. \n\nAlso in terms of traveling to countries that are closer, yes the UK gets a point because all the other European countries are closer. But in Canada, when you leave a province for another one it sometimes feels like you left for another country ? . Besides the US and Mexico, Canadian also go to Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Brasil, Argentina, Turks and Caicos(lots of Canadian go there that at one point the island was even considering becoming the 11th province of Canada ?) .\n\nIn terms of diversity, it's not that much different from the UK. All the big cities are very diverse, just like the UK. Also, Toronto is the most diverse city in the world.
