My wife of 32 years came to the United States legally in 1987, we met in 1990 and got married one year later, she has fully integrated as an American. My wife is the first person to tell you that the illegal aliens coming over the border is wrong on so many levels, first is we do not know who is coming over that border, second it is not impossible to emigrate to the United States, it just takes time, effort, and a clean record. These people crossing the border have no respect, come for free handouts, nearly all of them commit crimes once here, from murder, prostitution, drug trafficking, theft, child trafficking, assaults, and robberies. This is an attempt by the Democrats to create a Socialist Marxist System in our country, the illegal entry into this country has got to stop, and Democrats must be held responsible for doing this to the American citizens and people who came here legally. This is about accountability in our government.

As a Canadian I'd just like to say, she's so wrong. Africans love Canada, and we love them. Now, African Americans, thats a tricky one. Its not about the colour of ur skin, its about attitudes. 90% of the time when dealing with African Americans, u can tell their waiting and looking for racism, get upset when they dont find it. The victim mentality is a real turn off. Again, go ask some Africans about life in Canada, i bet u get more positive than negative. The American black culture is the problem for most people, in most places, including America itself. You know what helps that? Economy. Which they are a steroid boost of over time. These people work harder than most Americans.

Not that many people in the developed world are shopping for an alternative country. So I imagine most Americans and most Canadians will be content with their nation of birth. But as a Canadian, I have to admit I'm a bit scared of the US. The level of violent crime down there is such that _many_ (not all) people feel they need guns for personal security. American prison rates testify to a level of desperation and alienation that is _not_ appealing to me. I don't want to live somewhere where owning a deadly weapon seems like a sensible idea! Also, as a struggling creative/entertainment person, I can't guarantee I'll be consistently earning good money – there are plenty of lean times in my biz. I don't want to be repeatedly worrying about my health coverage disappearing, whenever work dries up. I've never had that type of anxiety in Canada, and I sure appreciate that. Btw, although the Canadian health system is a long way from perfect, I've always managed to get appropriate care, according to my needs, quickly enough, at no cost to myself. And currently, I really like my GP _and_ my specialists!

I'm sorry but HELL NAW!!!! We have kids and ppl over here having major surgeries and can't even get help or assistance for the first time ever needing help like me and my family right now!. It's just not fair!!! What the Hell man!?? Why doesn't America take care of home first!!?? Us Americans should always come first!!!! #SMDH We are suffering enough ??

As a child of a first generation immigrant, this is horrible and WRONG. My dad and his family fled Nicaragua in the late 80's when the socialists took over. And it was a real war zone. The government stole their land, homes, and k!lled people they knew. On the way to the airport my dad (who was a small child at the time) saw dead bodies in the street. Thankfully they made it to the USA and were able to rebuild their lives and become proud American citizens. They did it LEGALLY. It makes me so mad when I see footage like this. Lots of racist people serotype Hispanic Americans negatively because of these criminals. Why is our government doing nothing about this???? The cost of living is unbearable already and we have a major housing crisis. It is NORMAL to have a border! Why is that so hard for some people to understand???? It's a national security crisis. I swear this is the most incompetent administration I've ever seen in my lifetime.

If I have a house and my kids are malnourished, no bed, no decent clothing, then some strangers try to barge in and DEMAND some food, a place to sleep , and want me to take care of their children. We don't need anymore people because we aren't good with American people now. They wanting to come here and take what we have already but we don't have enough for those who live here. Close the border. Americans tax dollars shouldn't have to pay for refugees when they're struggling to get by themselves. People can't afford to go to college in the U.S., it's so expensive. Cost of living goes up all the time. I have multiple degrees and can't really find a job and when I do, they always want to pay very low and def much lower than they started your counterparts at. There's a ridiculous homeless issue in the U.S. where I've met plenty that apply for jobs all the time and do not get hired. They even ask random people if they can work for them just for food, literally just for food. There are people everywhere that take things for granted including the U.S. but that's not the issue here. There are U.S. leaders that steal your money in taxes and retirement funds then misuse the funds. How is it fair for a hard working individual to have 30% of their gross removed from there paycheck then still required to pay the government when filing income taxes. You can buy a house, pay it off and never own it. The government is your forever landlord because property taxes are always due and are increased whenever authorities want them increased. Every country has serious issues.

The hipocresy of American politics is just too much, on one hand they will give you the idea of resolving the border issue, on the other some work to get money in their pockets by cartels and other criminal organizations worldwide like isis, and on the other killing the economy by not making the illegal immigrants work like Florida. I mean is a mess, not one sided like many people see on here, the root of the problem is so much deeper and it involves a lot of things sadly :/\nJust hoping everyone will be okay for the times to come and know who the real enemy is (hint: is not these people who are desperate like others in the country). This shouldn't be necessary, I agree people should fight to make their own country better, and people do need to think about the socioeconomic reality of their own country when hosting immigrants as well.\n\nBut at the same time, it's kind of sad to see so many people not just worrying about it but literally hating people as if they were all dangerous criminals who come to kill you and steal your job, and not just loving fathers and mothers doing the same that a lot of your parents and grandparents did hundreds of years ago. I am a for immigrants but this need to be fixed. How to fix it, is charge American a $10,000 fine if you hire a illegal. Then make these people apply from home where we have time to check there background and then given a date to come. A wall does not work so we need drones and more people on the boarder. I hate to see Mexican Americans working in law enforcement to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country like legit if it was up to me I don’t have a problem with it but I can see why our country has issues with that due to the economy misbalance that can occur. As a person with Mexican heritage and born as an American, I feel that having secure borders is critical to Americans survival, it’s very difficult to differentiate those who want a better life to those that have bad intentions. I hope in time my fatherland will once again be rid of the cartels and sadly only harsh and terrible methods must be used to cure my fatherland

America has fought HARD for centuries to achieve freedom. We’ve shed infinite amounts of blood for the rights we have. Freedom isn’t free. It takes centuries to get to that. People think it sucks to have to spend ten years becoming a legal citizen here, well count yourself lucky that you didn’t have to shed any blood, lose any family members, fight against an oppressive enemy for your rights, or lose your house in a battle for a free country. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look up American history. Count how many battles were fought; how many wars; how many people died; how many Americans became POW’s on our own land during the Civil War. Look how hard it’s been. Look how hard it is now. We never stop fighting for what we want. Freedom takes work. America isn’t some island paradise. It never has been. We all live on the same earth. We all experience hardship. And there’s no amount of money, illegal border crossing, or anything else that can keep us from that harsh reality. In life we’re going to suffer. That’s just how it is. Stop thinking that illegally crossing a border is somehow going to solve all problems. It won’t. The grass isn’t greener on the other side just because. Bloodshed makes that grass green: Sacrifice. Hard, laborious work; and centuries of time.

I'd much rather keep all of our $ and then give it to whom I feel deserves it. Many of these people are not bad people, but they will use our handouts and most will not try or have the ability to get off of them. But it’s ok, I’m a white guy so there’s no assistance, I get turned away at the food shelter and get to watch my boss roll in to work in a Mercedes while I see who left their lunch unattended

If you don't say that we should bring everyone of those people in here and put them in a hotel and pay for thier food and shelter your a freaking racist. I mean they are going to pay so many taxes I'm sure it will probably balance the budget and America won't default and continue to fall into a recession.
