As a foreigner, I felt weird when he said that 'this is what our enemy wants to see', does he wants North American continent vs other continent s like Europe or Asia? I just don't like this part of his speech.

Canada has treated the US like crap for so long. Trudeau acts so innocent but if anyones a dictator its Trudeau. Free speech is dead in Canada and we all saw what he did durring covid. Arresting people for having home church!! Treats his country like crap. All he cares about are his European buddies.

Great speech. Try to remember, the President does not appear to play well with others. His ridiculous tariffs and annexation fantasies are absurd. I think the American people will push back against these policies.

I'm European and I am so proud about Mr. Trudeau and his team. What an intelligent people. The speech is simple to understand but together it is so strong and says all that matters. Applause. 20-40 years ago US was seen as a dream country here in EU, every east European dreamed to live there, but not anymore. Today most would not go to US to live even if they are payed to do so. US reputation is in historical downfall.

Wonderful speech am for a change. Trump is a scumbag. He should continue to run.

I agree with absolutely everything Trudeau has said in his speech except for calling Trump a smart man. Trump is definitely not smart, quite the opposite. I understand that Trudeau needs to have his ego stroked, but lying to the world about Trump‘s intelligence is pointless. Those Americans, who ARE smart must remove Trump and the Republicans from office ASAP

All my respect goes to Trudeau, who remained apologetic to the citizens of both countries throughout his speech. SHAME ON CNN for calling it Anti-Americanism !!! Trump picked this fight and let's not forget that ! And for NOTHING. another embarrassing moment for legacy news media that just proves either how dumb or how corrupt most are.

I'm not a fan of Justin Trudeau by any means, HOWEVER... Hearing his speech just now filled me with pride to be Canadian and standing up to the new autocratic fascist government of our southern neighbour. I've watched over the last +/- 40 days the UnUnited States of America devolve into Russia's lap dog, with Putin's excrement on Orange Man's face on a near daily basis. I hope that whatever good people left down there can rise up and take back their country ASAP, otherwise the entire world will suffer the catastrophic consequences!

Trudeau is far from perfect. He has done some stupid stuff during his time as PM and before he was PM. But I will never doubt his love for Canada and appreciate him standing up to the Trump Administration. Yes, of course he has a speech writer. But so does the president and well, one is articulate and the other is a blabbering idiot. I'll let you decide which is which. Hint: the one speaking here is the articulate one. ?

The speech of Mr Trudeau, the way Canadians have shown solidarity for one another, today it all puts my country, The US, to shame. I am ashamed of what my government is doing and I am disgusted with the people doing it. In Mr Trump’s first term, as eclipsed as they were by the many many many actions and attitudes he imposed on us that embarrassed and hurt us as a country, there was the rare occasional decision I could at least understand even if I did not support it. Since taking office literally not one thing he has done has made sense to me as an American. I can only say how sorry I am for what the country I love is being used to do to you all, especially our closest allies and friends and in particular the people of Canada today. I grew up in Commerce Twp Michigan. I visited Canada regularly and, even as crime from Detroit poured across the border into Canada, Canadians always treated us with respect and welcome. I never imagined that would stop but now I find it hard to imagine how it might continue and it breaks my heart.
