Many leave their own country, and come to Canada BECAUSE of their dislikes; extremism, culture, religion, laws, identity and in some cases backwards thinking; attempt to turn what we in society would consider as sexist, and discriminatory in some examples….\n\n…however when those same individuals finally achieve citizenship, or in some cases this starts (attempt to change Canadian law(s)) before obtaining citizenship, making moves to force the above, everything they despised, hated or disliked about their own country, into this new country ? Its like, the expectation is that we assimilate to them, not that they assimilate to their new chosen country??\n\nIt appears in some cases, going as far as attempting to rationalize why the the very thing they left their own country for, should now be a part of or have a place in Canadian society….where in any place in the World does this happen? Would it happen? Can you imagine, if I were a guest in someone else’s home, being invited over for dinner, but they had rules…like taking off your shoes when entering their home…or demanded they change their menu that they worked hard making for me to eat..or that I do not put my feet up in the coffee table or furniture…but I said, screw that, I don’t agree with their rules..I’m just going to do what I want! What would be the outcome do you think if I were to disrespect their rules?\n\nWhen Canadians have the audacity to say NO, we’re not interested in adopting …the rules/laws of the country they just abandoned…we’re now somehow insulted, or angered the guest? …the same Canada that has welcomed, provided safety, roof over their heads, food on the table, an education for their children, and provided access to our medical (albeit far from perfect) infrastructure.\n\nTo stomp their feet, bang their fist on the table when discovered that it’s expected to take four years of your life to become a doctor (which btw if you’re smart enough to become a doctor, you should be smart enough to of researched the expectations, PRIOR to coming to Canada) in the Country that YOU have chosen to spend the rest of their lives in, to have to work in a job to help support you and your families transitions,…imho, is NOT an unreasonable ask….that 4-5 years of their next 40-50+ ? Well, if that is considered a hardship, then maybe they need to rethink their intent. Maybe, the grass WAS greener in their former Country?!! \n\nI think to expect or demand to just step into or handed on a silver platter all the goodies without having to except to take the not so good…is imho ignorant, arrogant and selfish.\n\nEven with our flaws, Canada is one of the best places to live on the planet. It’s takes hard work, investment and community to make/keep Canada

This is basically a commercial for anyone who lives in Quebec who isn’t French to learn French.\nI Will (but the Gouvernement de Québec Won’t) leave that up to you.\nThe producers left out the following:\n- Current and Coming Major Increases in Language Strife (FRENCH Vs English) lead by the Provincial Gouvernement. -Bill 96\n- Current unwelcoming or tolerance of religiously oriented communities -Bill 21\n- Oddly the French Public School system has a terribly high drop out rate for boys compared to the English System (which is under attack from Bills - 101 & 96).\n- The Healthcare System is in Shambles as increasingly demonstrated by its inability to deal with Covid. It is so bad (in terms of available resources) that the Gouvernement has been forced to have some of the most repressive and restrictive measures (including curfews) in the entire world in order to keep its medical system and hospitals from collapse.\n\nI don’t know what to do with the ranking but making Quebec # 1 very much diminishes the validity of the rest of this video and that’s ashame.

My grandparents immigrated from Italy and Ireland. They never got nice warm Canada Goose jackets, clothes, Nike shoes designer jeans, free English lessons or welfare. They paid there way, bought their land and found work LEGALLY, paid to learn English.\nThey did not steal unemployed Canadians jobs going through Trudeaus let’s hire out of the country so our government funds part of the wage. What we get are lousy heath care workers who barely understand or speak the English language and are caring for our Elderly and mistreating them. This I saw first had. I took my Mother home out of a senior home and cancelled home care as they never showed up on time. Would they leave there parent in a urine soaked brief for 5 hours as that is how late they were. I had to quit my job to take care of her. I myself am disabled with a spinal injure. The worst part of “Home Care workers” is that they wanted me to call in and cancel so they got paid. This statement gave from the Home Care nurse in charge of these immigrants working here. Seven of my friends, who are educated health care workers, which they themselves paid for, not paid my our government. They can’t get a job. The last job I applied for and they ask you status I put that I am a Canadian refugee in my own country. \nPretty sad when on Remembrance Day you have these woke individuals begging for money to help refugees. They should be ashamed of themselves for this disgusting action as this is a time to remember the men and women who fought for our freedom. Trudeau is a total embarrassment to all Canadians. He brings in more refugees rather than helping Veterans and homeless Canadians.

I have thought this at least 1 million times but 1 million time my mind replied to me, ''Why to go in a country of crooked minded people and lawless state where Policemen are thieves, army men are politicians, politicians are lawless and religious people are sellable & they promote extremism in mosques everywhere in Pakistan, rich are tax-offenders and poor are crushed in poverty. In other words, stones are fastened but dogs are at large''. In the UK, In Hospitals they (European countries) do not hire SAFAARISHEE DOCTORS and their doctors do not strike for money and kill hundreds of patients and do not shoot to police during protests..... Islamic values??????? huh!!. In Europe, They do not patronize your faith, they do not define your faith calling which sect is Muslim and who is not and they let you groom according to your talent in every walk of life. This is called Islamic values. They only dislikes when Muslims try to mess their system and they want their Governments to act like they are Islamic states. I think Pakistan is a really a sickening state, not made for poor but for Nawaabs, rich army men and bureaucrats. Let crocked minded people stay there because this system suits them. When these doctors will be screwed up by Pakistani system of corruption; guess what: THEY WILL RUN AWAY & BACK TO England. Both are Crazy doctors, they are talking like Pakistani politicians now... Dr sb, Take interview of this lovely couple after two year when they go back to Pakistan and their views will be different. In two years they will be thinking how and when to pack up and kick off from Pakistan which is a breeding land of terrorism, where water is expensive than blood of a poor person.

My people have been here for tens of thousands of years, we fought bravely for 300 years to try and keep our land, in the end no one one, but many treaties were signed , the Europeans getting land and the aboriginal people getting money.....a transaction no different than purchasing an item with money...except the amount owing was never paid as it was a lot of money, instead the amount owing was to be paid over a period of time...but this crooked government did not want to pay for the land..rather act like it was one by some kind of decisive war so white privileged people would feel as if they were giving handouts to Aboriginal people. What war did this government win?...furthermore this so called money was put into a so called investment fund, the so called free money that you hear about aboriginal people receiving is their own money that was promised for the sale of lands, there has never been free money given to Indian people...next time you see a beat up aboriginal person begging for change or acting out in the public...you now have the privilege of knowing that that man or women is a millionaire by this government s own standards...then I have to sit here an listen to you talk shit about my country ...well just go...please...your no different than a Hindu or a Chinese immigrant...just because your white doesnt mean your any different...

I like how y’all have created this video by not applying a negative undertone rather more of an informative approach to caution prospective movers of what potentially awaits them. All I would like to highlight is the fact that some people will experience all these points as negative aspects or maybe even one or two that might lead to the breaking point.\nIt all depends on where you come from and how life was in your “home” country.\nYou might come from a higher tax environment with non existent healthcare and education. From that perspective, 40% taxes might look better and the healthcare might be great or crap depending on what your health issues are. I personally haven’t had any struggles with most of these aspects - finding a great job was relatively easier, (key word - relatively) the healthcare system worked for me when I needed it to, I was mentally prepared for the high taxes, I culturally adapted to the point where people thought I was Canadian and didn’t realize I came in from a very different environment. I’m sure this cultural adaptation helped me with my job and made it easier to live here.\nAll in all, you can say I’ve had the “perfect” immigrant experience that most people would dream of. But what do i think really? Personally, I have come to realize that Canada at the moment does not fit into my personal goals and values and that is okay. Loneliness away from people you love can be tough. It just isn’t the same feeling making new friends and hanging out with coworkers who are much older than you are and in a different place in life. I’m very close to my family and friends who I’ve grown up with and are on the other side of the world. My parents are getting older and I want to spend as much time with them as possible. For that reason, I might consider being somewhere closer to them. I’d perhaps consider coming back here some day when I’ve got my own family and kids which I currently don’t have. To me, that’s a personal value high on the list. I guess my only takeaway from this video and advise to people looking at each of these points - take each one and compare it with your home country. If you think you’re better off in Canada, then move - it’s a great place! If not, think about it real hard and weigh out the pros and cons.

Great video, and really interesting discussion in the comments. Perhaps what I can add is that I was born in Canada, have lived here for 50 years, and I've experienced the same problems as immigrants: difficult to meet people and form social ties, hard to find work because I don't have the 'right' education or qualifications not recognized, expensive and hard to establish a 'normal' life here. Imagine growing up with this, not having experienced something different elsewhere, and having no country to go back to. Canada is becoming a two-tier society, one made up of well-established families, and the other made up of Canadians who struggle and immigrants who also struggle.

Canada is what you make of it. You can arrive rich and end up poor and you can arrive poor and end up rich. In between that, you can have a great life that balances your needs. I’ve seen immigrants succeed simply because they see the opportunity in front of them . They worked hard in their own counties to stay just above the poverty line ,but when they apply that same effort here it pays off ten times greater. I feel that compared to a lot of immigrants, natural born Canadians come across as spoiled and a little lazy…we are. We haven’t had to struggle the same way someone from a poorer country might have. I’ve talked to people who’ve worked ten to twelve hours a day just to stay afloat. If you did that here you could make plenty of money to live and have some left over. As far as owning a house goes,yes it’s expensive . I feel that homeownership in any country is relatively expensive. Here is a tip; use that soaring home prices to your advantage. Houses are expensive but you can make a lot of money buying and selling. I recommend putting together a buyers group and share the house for a few years, then sell at a profit, buy a bigger house or two smaller houses.try to buy the worst house in the best neighbourhood and fix it up slowly . That house could double in value in five or six years in the Toronto market. This is nothing new of course ,the people from India and China seem to do this a lot here ,it drives up prices and profits. On the downside to this ,you are now part of the problem. As the housing prices are driven up the non wealthy can no longer afford to own a house . They are at the mercy of high rents with no rewards of ownership. They are caught in a cycle of hard work and (relative)poverty. This could also be you if you can’t keep up the house payments and are forced to rent.\nHow well you speak English is important but your native language is also useful here because Canada is half immigrants . As a Canadian that speaks only english (Irish descent)I have to say to all newcomers that I’m very impressed that you have learned a new language and that you may even speak more than two! Don’t be embarrassed about your abilities . I find that in my experience , Canadians do not look down on people just because they don’t know English. In fact ,I’ve known people that have lived here for decades and still know very little English. They are comfortable in their communities and they function just fine. Learn as much English as suits your needs and be proud of any gains you make.\nOutside of Toronto are other cities that you might consider when looking at southern Ontario.From my experience,most are generally the same, just not as big . There are large immigrant communities in London Ontario, Hamilton and just outside of Toronto where housing is just a little bit less expensive but the commute to work is probably longer. This is just my opinion but in the small towns there are less people of colour , (which is what people of no colour call everyone else . I wonder if I’m called a person of no colour in some other culture ? LoL ). That might make it harder for you to feel integrated ,if that’s what you want. I’m not saying that people from other cultures can’t make it in a small town , I’m just saying that it’s definitely not Toronto . Here, people of any nationality can feel like they have a place where they can belong . It seems that no matter where you are from ,there is a community already here that’s set up restaurants and stores and clothing shops and newcomer support systems. And if your from Portugal or China or India or Africa or the Middle East, there are large groups of your kin here that have established roots for generations and you probably know this already.\nToronto means meeting place and that becomes evident quickly. I was born here and it’s one of the things I love the most about my city. I’m not going to say that there isn’t systemic racism here ,the people of no colour still kind of keep the top position , but as we become a minority in a decade or so ,I hope that will shift to a broader spectrum. It’s certainly happening already. One good thing is that the police department tries to hire people of colour so that racialism may play a smaller role. We’re getting used to seeing our politicians more and more reflect their constituents.\nI have to talk about the weather. Because I’m from here I’m used to the extremes of minus thirty and plus thirty . Eventually you get used to it (somewhat). Dressing in the right clothes is important. Summer is easy , but winter is different. It’s trying to kill you. Spend the most that you can afford on winter cloths . If you can afford a quality parka you should get one. The hood can be drawn around the face and stay out of the wind.\nIf not ,think of layers with a outer layer that blocks the wind. We have things called long Johns that are basically full length thick cotton or nylon pants that go on under your pants and a pair of extra thick socks. Buy your boots to fit your thick socks. Try to get the best boots you can afford ,it’s something that you might spend a little extra for but never regret.\nAll in all we are a fairly organized and peaceful society. Most people are friendly and will give you a chance . We have a good social safety net here and you don’t have to be homeless or starving if you don’t want to. There are people and organizations set up to help ,that truly try to get people back on their feet. It’s a good investment that pays off in ways that matter for the quality of life in a big city. I’m not putting my American neighbours down when I say they do things differently. They have their ways ,we have ours. This is just something that we do because we’re trying to learn how to help those that society has discarded or can’t find their place. Sure we have one or two areas where the homeless have pitched tents and we have some resources for them if they want. Unfortunately The mayor recently forced a small camp to move from a very visible place to more scattered locations. There were social workers involved as well as protesters trying to protect them. I didn’t like that happening and I want to see even more resources dedicated to them ,but on the other hand ,we are trying to avoid something like what happens on the streets when it’s just ignored. When I see YouTube videos of the streets of Philadelphia I’m extremely saddened. I thank the lucky stars that I was born in Toronto Canada.\nFor all it’s pollution and expense and crowds ,I think it’s a great place to do almost anything your heart desires . For every ugly building there is a beautiful park ,for every honked horn there is a birds call , for every cold and dark day there is beautiful sunny one around the corner.

My own family immigrated here from South Africa 40 years ago. They say the people here are dour, and unfriendly. Ironically over the years they have become the same. The country changes you, and each province seems to have it's own culture. Currently in my province there is a large influx of Indian students and Syrian refugees. Many students I've spoken to complained about the racism, poor weather and lack of things to do in my city specifically. Myself, I feel foreign now in a city I grew up in and am hoping to move out west, but maybe further south to be with my american boyfriend. I wonder what it's like immigrating to the States lol!

I will be leaving Canada within a year or so after declaring non-residency and bring my business with me. My view is that Canada is a good place to live a normal life. Healthcare covers your peace of mind, even if the waitlist is long and bureaucratic. Social benefit is not as generous as people suggest sometimes (at least in Canada unless you're on actual welfare where you can't work but you can't rise your way up easily and you're forever stuck in 1.5k CAD/month... which would be ofc much better than other struggling countries but immigrants often aspire for greater things than that. \n\nEven though I was an Asian immigrant, I never faced significant racism afaik (I could be socially naive however), but there are definitely limitations of opportunities. It's not too difficult to find entry to intermediate jobs, at least for me but that's probably because I did schooling here in Canada. And I was able to network aggressively and learned to be an extrovert, so that also helped. But still, Canadian living cost is high (and I'm saying this from Calgary... imagine what it's like in Vancouver/Toronto). Is it doable? Ofc. 50-70k CAD/year is quite doable ESPECIALLY in Calgary, Alberta. But it'd be difficult to achieve financial independence and true wealth. This is true everywhere ofc but more so in Canada compared to, say, USA where living cost is lower and wage is higher with more opportunities. It's a great place to live normally. If you wanna become exceptional (wealth, customized goods and services, etc), it become harder and costs more. \n\nEven now when I now own business after struggling to get here over 10 years that generates income that I need to achieve financial freedom, tax becomes frightfully bad. Alberta (that imposes lowest tax rate compared to other Canadian provinces (not including territories for obvious reason) is comparable to California in USA that is among the highest in all US states. And let's be real; Alberta is nowhere close of being California. Imagine the taxes in BC/Ontario shiver. \n\nOnce my tax rate becomes high enough to justify moving, I will pull the trigger. Still window-shopping where I wanna go and I have some lists but it's gonna happen especially as Canada will have to deal with their struggling economy, further distancing from US and their government mismanagement that continues to cost the society. I will not have any part in it. I may come back once in a while for visit or potentially retire depending on what the future looks like but right now, I just don't see my longterm future here.

Let me explain what mr ashir azeem forgot to mention\n1- you will miss your friends and family you grew up with\n2- you will earn money , a lot of it, but you will spend it all too, don’t expect to become a millionaire . Only a car insurance can cost 1000s of dollars a year\n3. It’s a very individualistic society, people are busy within- ie selfish , be prepared to face that mental trauma when you are in need of some minor favor and nobody will be there \n4. Young guys moving to another country- you will miss the important events of your life (cousins, friends, siblings marriages) family ghumi khushi while working abroad , making dollars and paying all type of unimaginable bills\n5. When you have children, they will be a minority, in religion and also in skin color and will most likely be bullied in school\n6. It is difficult to practice your religion, and regarding your children, forget about it\n\nPeople only choose to share the part of info that’s positive in such videos that, grass is all greener here, just leave everything and run to here . Please Only make this decision if you are prepared to give up your family , your values , your social structure and your religion for a bit more money and cleaner Air

Or accepted practices if you will. \n\nSpecialist appointments. \nWhat is likely to happen you go to your Family Doctor and he makes a judgement. \nDoes this person need to be seen by specialist how urgent is that need. \nYou then set up an appointment for three to four months down the road. \nYour likely not picky so you accept anytime. \nThat’s where you make the mistake. \nYou make the appointment for the first appointment of the day or as early in morning as you can. \nWhat happens then Is you will find you are out within 4 hours. \nThey like to clear their morning schedule before they take lunch. \nSo say your appointment is for 11. Because of backlog they get you in for 12. \nFinished up morning appointments by 1. \nThey then take there lunch. Which means they are two hours behind starting the afternoon. \nRough idea of what goes on but you get the idea. \n\nTwo. You hear it every time you call a doctors office. If this is a medical emergency call 911. \n\nIf you need an appointment with specialist because something is wrong. \nFor instance need to see Neurologist because of seizures. \nYou can go to family Doctor and he will set up appointment for 6-8months down the road. \nOr you can go to emerge snd be seen by Neurologist usually within the day. \n\nThey expect you to do that if you are in distress. \nNot in the brochure perhaps but they tell you to do it. \nCall 911 if this is medical emergency. \n\nSo whether your having heart palpitations, seizures, or just don’t know what’s wrong with you. \nThey expect you to go to emerge if you are in a bad way.

Interesting untold fact . During the entirety of the Atlantic slave trade Canada had 4700 registered slaves (Natives didn't register their slaves) Out of that 30% were black . It was abolished in many regions of Canada by 1797 and all of Canada by 1834 . But Canada still had indentured servitude until the early 20th century . They would round up kids on the streets of Europe and the ones that survived their passage here usually didn't make it to adulthood . Another problem after abolition were the natives still practicing slavery . The numbers of slaves in Canada was very small . Compare it to the Barbary slave trade . A persons personal outcomes in Canada have everything to do with what they put in . The fact is most black Canadians are not descendants from slaves in Canada .

I know it won’t be easy but, Toronto has a lot of resources for immigrants and even undocumented immigrants. I worked for a shelter and although it was the only one that takes undocumented families, you learn there are resources out there. \nIt’s about aligning yourself with the right community support Center, finding the people who will fight for you. There are so many people here who welcome and want to help all types of immigrants. No matter your background.\nThe people who work helping these communities they are ruthless in their fight for citizenship, or at least finding you a job and home, they will guide you through the system. Social workers, ones in community resource centres, not government centres, will be your best friend. They know where the red tape is and the resources available to you. \nYou could even go to a specific shelter to t all out your options and where you could go to get help.\nI understand this is not ideal. \nBut, if you want to be here, your best friends are non-profits, finding a center that aligns with your story, your background, because they will fight for you. We have people here from every country and resource centres geared towards your own language, religion etc.\nAnother big way to set yourself up for success. Churches, rich churches to be specific. \nMy mom works in a very rich church and it helps them feel better about themselves helping people, you could be nice enough to alleviate their guilt through their wallets, and connections. Under the table work, shelter, space for your family, set you up, they might even have the lawyers you need pro Bono in those rich churches. Church shopping, do not be above it if you don’t have resources. You don’t just get help, you build a community and support system through a common bond, the church. \nI know these aren’t revolutionary tips, but without specifics of your background it’s hard (for me specifically) to give specific advice online as to what services could be provided for you.\nIt’s kind of like a doctors appointment. You need background info to diagnose the resources for you and how to access that help.

Bro \nAre you even from Canada? \nSome REAL TIPS \n1) Canada is expensive as fuck. Good luck on a minimum wage job. Don’t bother coming if you don’t have degrees because with such little population jobs are extremely competitive \n2) doctors visits and emergency rooms don’t cost anything upfront but do expect an 8 hour wait or 12 in a big city. Doesn’t matter what your “emergency” is... get in line. We have the longest waits in the world for things like X-rays and MRI’s. True story look it up. \n3) we have the most expense cell phone plans in the world with the shittiest coverage. In all fairness we have a small population and a massive landmass. \n4) if you’re moving to BC, car insurance is government run. So it’s extremely expensive (I think also the most expensive in the world) and it’s awful... so don’t ever get into an accident) other provinces don’t run this way. \n5) gas in BC is also very expansive because of multiple taxes, it’s affordable most places in the prairies though \n6) drinking is 18+ everywhere except BC where it’s 19+ \n\nSo if you want to live somewhere “nice” move to BC. but you’ll be poor as fuck. \nWant to live somewhere affordable, move to the prairies but it’s awful. \nYou can’t move to Quebec if you don’t speak French fluently. Toronto is okay and you won’t fit in anywhere in the eastern islands so don’t even bother. \n\nThe end.

I worked for Wal-Mart for 16yrs and they are full of sh.t! They are races that 0 tolerance crap is so they don't get more lawsuits than they can handle. The employees get paid crap and if we did get a raise it's an insult of 25%. They ask me what I maid before I left my last job I said $7.00 they brought it up too $7.25 an hour .25cents is bullsh.t especially even today's with Trump still having his followers,no tax for the rich,and WS and races cop's and companies like Wal-Mart and more out there things ain't going too change until we force it while voting out people who keep fighting for thing's not too.

3:13 none of our health care is free.. none..it better to think of it pre pay if you use it or not... \n\nUnless you can magic medicine and diagnostic tools, that's what a percentage of your tax pays.\n\nIn my opinion neither the USA system of health care, nor canada do I see much off difference in level of care.\n\nWhat I mean that is each system has its trade offs. For Canada small thing like broken arm or need information or certain medication i n that way Canada supior way, it's fairly quick treatment and tends to be effictive. Where Canada starts lagging behind is really in RnD and access to life saving procedures. Too many people die on waiting lists in Canada as there is not enough resources to go around, y'all have waited 4-8 H(normal is 2-4) just to be seen before don't fib to web now. \n\nAnd since we lack competition for newer/better medical procedure, 80-90% of our medical knowledge comes from the states or ww2 Germany.\n\nWhile on say the USA side, due to the competition they are constantly making advancements (which in the long run makes overall treatment cheaper and closer affordable). And after all that rare illnesses in canada as stated don't have any coverage meaning that any one hit with hit rare illness finds out the hard way they can either pay for life saving medication or well pass on.. as most Canadian are taxed to high to have any substantial savings available for such an emergency as they fall into the trap that the government has me covered. \n\nSo each system has its positives and negatives and as far as I'm concerned it's not talked about enough honestly up hear.\n\nIf you have been to the dentist in canada thats basically the usa system, though the prices are fixed in some areas so some services won't be available.. as they don't update the payment schedule often enough so certain procedures pay well, other well can actually cost the dentist out of pocket. \nTherefore in some areas you can't get certain procedures done at all the dentist will refuse.

I think some people forget that a Muslim is not a race but a religion. That religion comes with its own Bible that has horrific things in it. Christians get scorned all the time and nobody says anything. A Muslim gets the same treatment and everybody feels bad for them. It doesn’t make sense to me either. Just by seeing this makes me think if this is what was happening when I was in a cvs one time. I ordered some stones for my nails online but it was going to come later thin I needed so I seen cvs had some stones with a set of nails but I was not able to decide on what stones so I bought one of all the ones they had but I had a lady walk pass me so many times. I happened to notice after a week later a go back to pick up medication and they put the nails in the front of the store. While the Muslim thing might make some people feel bad an let me say this by no means, I'm I taking up for what these people said. I have no problem with skin color or race. I do have a problem when I go to the doctor's office and cannot understand half of what the doctor is saying to me. I do have a problem when I call for technical service and cannot understand half of what the technician is saying. This is frustrating. If people with another first language want to work for American companies where communication is a big part of the job, I only wish they would speak more fluently. I had this very situation this morning. Called for service, could not understand through heavy accent. He was getting very frustrated with me. If I went to another country it would be up to me to learn to speak that language. I dealt with this in the hospital...and in this setting it can be critical. Racism is everywhere a lily white dude I knew was the biggest thief ever. He'd walk out of stores with whole grocery carts full of stuff, Right out the door. I myself have asked this question to some of my coworkers and this was there reply that was told to me by another person who understood what they said IT'S FREEDOM OF SPEECH and they got mad cause I laughed and said that is not what that means but yet they all got mad .but after they were told what it really meant was just as confusing as what they have been believing that it ment that they didn't have to learn a new language and now they have all are and have learned English. We need to have a little bit of compassion for Muslims who are struggling with this. Imagine that you were born into Islam. You didn't ask for it. You just happened to be unlucky enough to be born into a Muslim country and raised under it. It's not their fault that they believe what they believe. \nWe need to help them to free them from the chains of Islam. The way to help them and free them from Islam is by educating them with the truth. It's difficult for them to accept because they have devoted their entire life to it. Moving to Vancouver was a great experience tbh, I'm of nigerian heritage but was born in Finchley, North London...\nCanadians are friendly and extremely welcoming ( Coming from the UK i found this so off-putting ) lol. By these comments, Canadians hate immigrants even more than American white supremacists. This man is scared for himself and his family. His case is just ignorance. He doesn’t know the proper ways to go about it. Him getting a lawyer and what not has showed he’s a bit smarter than many immigrants seeking asylum but most cases people don’t know the proper way to migrate out of their countries. They just know that there are better and safer opportunities elsewhere. As for everyone whining about why he doesn’t speak English, not EVERYONE CAN LEARN AT THE SAME PACE.
