coming here not work is not the issue, driving down the wages, doing sub-standard work and only hiring there own people is. come to Canada and compete on the open market as everyone else is acceptable the cream will always rise to the top and the most skilled will always prevail. this is not what we see when you go work what we see is employers refusing fair wages, employers deny workers rights someone desperate and inexperienced will do it instead. I don't hate east indians i have many as friends and even they know that the government is using them as a weapon against the people in order to own us all ( at least the ones the gov can't murder) i hope people don't fall for this obvious trap. I also hope the people coming from India will stop allowing themselves to be used against us. please stay there and deal with your own corruption that destroys your own nation so we can deal with are own corrupt gov and oligarch master wanna be's.

The numbers of Indians coming here is ridiculous. I blame the Liberal Government, whose propping up a failing economic policy artificially by increasing population. But I also have to wonder, the Indians I know are slavishly trading info on their silly Zuckerberg app, do they not realize how expensive its become in Canada? I am a born Indo-Canadian, and I'm getting tired of seeing Indians everywhere, this is Canada, not India. It doesn't help they openly scream in Hindi and Punjabi in public and their work-spaces instead of trying to adopt and adapt to the culture.

This is because the government doesn’t care about their talents they have in their own country and as citizens put them first instead ask them to go abroad and study and settle down there… Is this because they don’t have good quality universities in India? The govt can’t create jobs with good salary? Is this a competition fever initiated by the Indian society like a trend? They are even ready to take up all outsourced work from the west just to work on peanuts?????Why is the Indian government not waking up to this to tell parents to stop this ? India themselves should close the gates and only allow the required number of top graduates to the west…..rather than wait for the western countries to deport Indians and students.. it’s a shame..

See you are a respectful and good citizen who we would have no problem welcoming to Canada. It's the others who are ignorant and who do not respect our countries culture. If you plan to immigrate you must respect our culture and act as nice or nicer than the reputation us Canadians have. The reason we are upset with some Indians is they have no respect. Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. We do not do that here. Either way something has to change the government needs to fix this problem they created. Also why did they allow so many Indians what about Immigrants from other countries? It seems like all they did was mass import people from India. They can hardly even speak English. No disrespect I am just saying from someone who was born in Canada and whose parents grandparents and great grandparents and beyond were all born in Canada how we feel the way our country is being disrespected. It does not make us happy. But let me stress that I know there are kind respectable people from India who come here and are helping Canada. It's the ones who are disrespectful and are not respecting OUR culture.

New immigrants from India are 100% responsible for this. They are crossing the railway tracks like they do in India. They are urinating in subway stations as if it is their private bathroom. They are defecating on public beaches. They're driving without any regard to public safety. The sooner they are removed from Canadian society we all will have a better quality of life.

Student visa for study only. But if government is soft they give PR. After 4 years in Canada , now every country is changing this laws . Y Indian go study in India . Cheap , and no need to pay 60 lakh for study

I worked in a retail store with where Indians shopped regularly. They were the very rude to the sales helps. They talked down to us and they were the worst thieves the store has ever seen. Our regular customers started going else ware because of this problem. I'm afraid Canada is no longer a great, desirable country because we have aloud it to be taken over by the east indians. It is the governments fault but is is also the fault of the indians because they have not adapted to the Canadian way of life. They want us to adapt to their way of life. Please close the doors to any further indian immigrants or students . Go back to India if you don't like what Canada wont do for you.. But they are not Canadian citizens. They are Indian citizens and this means India is responsible for them.

The brain drain left India 20 years ago, they are well established and in many cases at top levels of Western corporations, some of the brain drain has returned to India and doing well, having traveled to India many times, this man is absolutely right. try and fit in and dont demand or hate on anyone, the majority of Indians are usually very polite.\n\nas for our Government, the majority of Canadians agree.....total incompetence....

I saw Indians pooping on beaches in PEI and NB this summer and throwing garbage everywhere. Now they are protesting to stay when their visa's have expired. They complain about school and housing, but at the same time, exploit food banks and take up entire neighbors up degrading land value with their crime and trash. Then whenever you interact with them, they are rude, speak quickly and do not learn to adapt to our way of life. Instead we get more protests and violence. Indians abroad are responsible for billions in fraud and mismanagement across many sectors, and Indian government openly hamulated Canada on several occasions. On the count of immigration to Canada, more then 2/3 are coming from India and many are unvetted. Indians are not global people, they are not friendly or adaptable. Taking advantage of our hospitality and complaining when they stop getting that treatment pretending it's not their fault. Indians should go back to India and fix whats going on there. Get better schools, and have better manners. You have generations of youth who are very rude and dirty. I wish everything I said wasn't true, but with many personal experiences and others sharing, we have found the same is true about all of this many times over, in a span of 10 to 15 years. No offense, but I would like to say this is how we people feel in India. Not entire community is bad as you sad but obviously few of them. But what do we hear, ah xyz community people are like this.. the same thing which canadians say to Indians. But back at home in India, even govt. is against us. So all those Indians who faces racism in Canada, in the same way we use to feel in India.

There are currently thousands and thousands of young men from India, milling around on the street corners of downtown Toronto. They work at low paid jobs where they deliver food in electric scooters and they are driving their electric scooters on the sidewalks (this is 100% illegal - contrary to city bylaws). Most of them were admitted to Canada on student visas, but are not actually studying anything. This is fraud, facilitated by the incompetent, GLOBALIST government of the TRAITOR, JUSTIN TRUDEAU. The situation with these young men is causing a huge social problem here. Now they are protesting agitating, demanding to stay here, claiming they have rights that do not not actually have. They all need to go home, NOW, where they belong.

Speaking Punjabi loudly in public spaces is very rude, Canadians are respectful of others and their language but this is not India. \n Bad body odour in public, to the point where people need to move seats and get away from it. \n The huge amount of Indian people working entry level jobs as servers etc. but then provide very poor rude service. (They don’t know what their doing and they don’t understand Canadian hospitality).

Fully agree. Until we don't finish the reservation and caste system in India we cannot succeed. Our multi talent is welcomed by the western countries while our 23 percentage number is welcomed by our uneducated ministers. This is Canada not India. Student visa does not equate with PR or citizenship. Go home and protest India instead of Canada.

My colleague, who is a temperary worker from Japan, told us she was kind of forced to watch some religious videos while she was working, and this guy kept telling her that he is kind of a big person who has the authority to issue Canadian visa to foreigners to come to Canada. He told her to contact him in the future when she needs visa to Canada. My collegue said he seems from India or related country.Not 100% from India. She just said he seems like. --- I would not believe that Canada has a immigration problem if i have never heard what happened to my colleague. There is so much problems in Canada, like young people facing serious drug issues, homeless issues, etc. Canada needs to deal with these issues. I hope there is less these visa or immigration issues to take away the ability for Canada to deal with issues that future Canadian children are facing.

In the last two years you've seen massive increase of immigration from India. Modi keeps winning elections because he kicks non-Hindu out from India. India for Indians, or what ever Modi now calls them. That's how Indian thinks. Canada for the North American Natives and Westerners as well as minorities who have already immigrated. I see his point, but we Canadians know that we can’t go to your countries and have our pride parade. For example, I can’t move to India and have a French Métis Canadian pride parade. I have seen Indian Nationals very polite and very attentive, smart and groomed.\nUnfortunately most of Indian Nationals don't regard others, bargaining for even 5 dollars, entitled, sorry but some don't even shower for weeks, that is very uncomfortable. There are over 1,000,000 Indians here in America who came here on a tourist or student visa who never went back home once their visa expired. They are living here illegally. Thousands of Indians are flooding across our Southern border into the U.S. They then claim they are persecuted back home in the world’s biggest democracy and apply for political asylum. This is all very dishonest! Indians are coming here for economic reasons. And they have no interest in our American way of life here of freedom and equality. Proof of this is that we are having to pass new laws to prevent Indians from discriminating against their own fellow Indians! Higher caste Indians here are discriminating against the Dalits or so called ‘Untouchables’ who are also here. \n\nStay home! Make India a better place instead of flocking over to the USA and bringing all of your bad habits over here with you! Over 700,000,000 Indians don’t even have access to a toilet! I’ve been to India many times so I know all about the real India! Remain there in India and tackle this huge problem. Why is it anti India . Check the facts . Before 2018 students were genuine and if they stayed long enough they got permanent residency. Now every one who is coming here is a fraud faking documents and going to crappy colleges that have no real education and these so called students are working. I am West Indian, descendent of India indentured workers. I love my country of birth, Canada where I have lived since 3, and I have much love and pride in my Indian roots. That being said, I have come to feel embarrassed of being taken for East Indian by other Canadian people. I moved to small city outside of Toronto in 2004. I loved it here! People were so welcoming, kind, friendly. I felt no prejudicial treatment from any of my neighbours. \nFast forward, my little city is now overrun with new Indian immigrants. I can’t tell if I am in the heart of Toronto or Brampton or my city of Oshawa. \nThe Indian people I encounter in the grocery store are pushy, have no Canadian manners, speak their language loudly, come to the stores with their entire family which fills up the isles and cause long lines. All the sale items are sold out by the time you get there because Indians are filling their cart with as much as they can purchase of any of the on sale merchandise. This never happened before. \nI am also saddened by being assaulted when an Indian person passes by and wave of body order sickens me. I don’t understand what the cause of that is. Not bathing regularly or not using deodorant. But I notice this everywhere I come in contact with Indians, men and women, young and old. \nI feel like I will be mistaken for East Indian myself which I have been when I went to the hospital. I was treated like I couldn’t speak English lol\nThe worst is the Muslims, they are the rudest the way they fill every available free space, make women feel uncomfortable and are just intrusive and unable to incorporate themselves with other Canadians. Canada is one of the best countries, I agree there are few downfalls, but on the other hand you can’t even in judge a book by just looking at it’s cover. If you are well educated, this country is the best to live in. Canada has already made their immigration policies stern, and are not welcoming everyone now. Do you think Indian politicians are doing good to keep India safe according to their duties? Don’t you think India has a drug problem too? Apply for a visa and come here, you’ll see many people settled, enjoying their life here. People have to face struggles when you move to a new country, it takes time. My personal experience with Indians, that are my friends, are educated graduated students that came in years ago, and behaved with manners, now in last 8 yrs we have an INVASION of uneducated, nasty, gang mentality people, that we Canadians DO NOT appreciate at all‼️ If you cannot adapt to our culture, go back to India, and keep your mess there. Hey,\n\nI don’t know how popular you are but I am hoping that you (or someone else reading) can make some short shareable etiquette videos for Indian immigrants. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

This is the result of mass migration from India which are destroying the balance of migration. Though I myself was a temporary resident from Philippines. I was shoch here in Toronto because I notice everytime I go from Train to Bus they occupied 70 to 80 percent. And guess whats next The Bad smell inside. And also I noticed they are so undecipline like some sit at the train with their foot hang at the chair and I also noticed they did not give the sit to the elderly even they saw them they just pretending that they didbt saw an elderly.

I’ll tell you this right now we are not rich. Whoever thinks Canada is rich doesn’t know reality of it. Most of the people in the country are broke or going broke. The infrastructure of all kind is no longer able to keep up with the demand and population. We are also paying huge amount of taxes like we are taxed on everything. It ain’t sunshine and rainbows it seems like in India.

India is currently exporting far too many people to Canada. The mass immigration into Canada is causing huge problems throughout the country. Canadian people are angry because the mass immigration is destroying wages, causing a massive housing crisis and mass inflation on food and everything.\n\nThis is not purely the fault of the Indian people... It is mostly the fault of politicians, corrupt profiteers from cheap imported labour and immigrants entering Canada through false pretenses and illegal entry. Because India is the largest exporter of immigrants into Canada it makes them the easiest group to target.\n\nWhen you add the attacks on established Canadian culture it really stirs up the worst in people. An example that really angers many Canadians is the turban. This may be a part of Indian culture but when people immigrate to Canada and demand to become police and command Canada to change their police uniform for their incoming culture. Imagine Canadian workers entering India and calling the turban racist and demanding they be banned from public view? Would the Indian people accept Canadians if they demanded India change to make them more comfortable there?
