I grew up in Toronto Canada. It is so sad to say but Canada needs to pivot because it is on a very negative trajectory. I finally had enough and the events that unfolded during the pandemic and where our current government is going made me make up my mind. I sold everything and moved to SE Asia. It's not paradise but my parents left their country to seek better and I'm doing the same.

I can appreciate what you are saying. I live in Los Angeles and we have many of the same issues and worse in many cases. You mentioned a lot of things that are problems and you are right. What you did not mention was who is responsible for the policies being enacted. My guess is that like Los Angeles, it’s run by progressive liberals who are passing laws that don’t put your citizens first. That’s what has happened in Los Angeles. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to move to a major metropolitan area, check to see who the mayor is and who’s on the city council. Canada is already run by leftists so I assume the apple is not falling far from the tree when it comes to your city leadership. In the US, people continue to reelect these incompetents. People in Canada need to realize, it’s okay to vote for conservative policies.

Unfortunately, the people we put into power are responsible for this. We have the power to turn things around but it takes backbone and awareness about what is really taking place in the upper rankings of gov't. We chose to go along with it all, wear the mask, impose the jab, lock ourselves down, isolate each other, and then reelect the same people who put those policies in place. It's our fault, no one else. But we can change it on a dime, and for much better.

As a canadian i never thoughg of living anywhere else vanxouver is so beautiful. Growing up govrnmebt started cutting programs and services in schools ans public resources. And kept doing it. \n\nNow they are removinf beautiful homes to build ugly apartments no yards .\n\nThere is not enough public space. Everyone is moving to the city. We use to be able to go to the beach on a weekday in spring and there was no one. Now its packes. To get to the bathroom was almost a block long. The bathrooms are small. Goos for population we has in the early 90s. We need somethings 4x larger now. \n\nIm ok with new comers but if they create a new community in the rural areas. We have so many areas up north no one moves to.\n\nOr lots of space to build new communities up north, not deatroy the current communities that already exist. \n\nWith all the new apartments there is not enough space for cara, no parking and no room on public transportation.\n\nSimply, the city cannot support anymore people. Its unrealistic. \nI worked with a girk who shares a 1 bedroom apartment with 5 other people and she still paid 1500 a month for rent.\n\nThis will soon be like america - run down, extreme poverty & homelessness. The homelessness has gotten so extreme.\n\nWages havw increased maybe 3x since i was a kid, but pricea rose eveey year.\n\nAs a kid we paid $850 for 3 bedrooms. When i mo ed to my first apartment i paid $800 for 3 bdrms. My friend pays $3000 now for a 2 bedroom aptt.\n\nThere are more crimes more thefts now. My old houae was 600,000 that same house is now 1.5 mil. \n\nI make 2x what i made 3 yeara ago ans things are even more expensive than, i have less now vs when i was making less. All of the GTHA has changed... I grew up in oakville / burlington, used to go into Toronto a lot, have lots of friends in mississauga, but just within the last I'd say 5 - 7 years nothing is the same as it was. The entire region gentrified or simply went through a rapid social, economic, and culture change. Oakville where I grew up has absolutely nothing similar to what it was when I was a living there, and pretty much my entire age group had to move somewhere else to afford to move on with our lives or stay stagnant and stuck in renting situations. \n\nIt's quite shocking and sad. I could go on about Hamilton too, but I hope you get the picture.

I hope you find a better place because there are the same problems around the world. The United States have normalize a lot of what you are talking about. Hate is growing, greed is growing. I'm almost 70, born in Toronto, I've only traveled to Quebec a few times, no other provinces. I have flown 4 times in my life, once to Thunder Bay, once to Chicago, and two times to the Philippines. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world. I have worked over 40 years in average jobs but I made it. I respect everyone's religion but don't push it on me, I'm not religious in anyway. Religion belongs in a believer's home or religious establishment. All I can say is good luck, life is what you make it.

It stands to reason that being a Muslim has to be easier in a Muslim country. Multiculturalism has been tried for several decades in many if not all western countries and has never really worked and it’s not getting better, if anything it is becoming more problematic. Maybe it would be better for everyone to start returning people who don’t believe in western values, benefits, freedoms and opportunities, to places where they have the same belief system.

I was born in Canada. I am now in Thailand. I worked 35 years for a large transportation organization. I am retired and loving living abroad. It is cold in Canada 6 months of the year. Climate change is creating massive forest wildfires every summer now creating horrid air quality issues especially in the west, which is the mist beautiful part of the country in my opinion. I traveled back for a couple of weeks in October 2023 and was in shock over the cost of everything especially considering the recent inflation problem affecting the entire world. I couldn't wait to het back to my life in Thailand. Here there is no racism that I can see. All races and religions are accepted here. I hardly ever wear pants, shorts and short sleeve shirts. I can golf 12 months a year and live very comfortably on my pension. I could not have the same quality of life in my home country and the medical industry makes care here very affordable and accessible. In B.C. I found it extremely difficult to find s family doctor after moving there even to get a comprehensive medical checkup. I love my country of origin but will never return as long as I have the choice. Canada is over taxed, over regulated and very expensive now. These are the facts that created my choice to emigrate.

Some times i watch videos on differents experiences others migrants experiencing here Canada and we re on same boat. That s why i also made choice to move out in Colombia on the beach for my retirement.Then im here giving some advise. As immigrant myself, African from Gabon, we experiencing same realities of the West since 10 years now. At some point, i can say there s something broken in this country since last 6-8 years. As you making decision to leave Canada on the reasons you expressed, it is very important for you not be wrong chosing the wrong place again. You need to think about it seriously. Straight, can tell you 100% United states is worse than Canada as Muslim family to live in. You need to read all suggestions given in this Video. As a lot people suggested you in the comments, i totally agree with em that Malaysia, is the Top one based of the reasons you explained why you leaving Canada. Maybe Turkey and UAE as second choice. I have been in Toronto since 1990 - used to love it but now... we're bankrupt as a City due to all the immigrants and homeless migrating here - thanks to our Federal Gov't not doing their jobs. I am disabled and was attacked 4 times on the TTC last year. Really hating what this city has devolved into. But where to live? Moving back to the UK is not an option as it is much the same there. Vancouver again? Not much cheaper but at least there you have more opportunities to get away from people.

Big cities in Canada actually aren't higher in crime. The worst crime is probably western small towns. But even really nice cities like Fredericton NB have far higher crime than Toronto does. This may be changing fast enough that we will see a change, but Toronto is almost an outlier in the world on crime rates. So Pickering is an A- on crime. Fredericton is an F. You would never guess it walking around. Though the same report says Pickering is a D- on health, while Fredericton is an A-, which is ridiculous because you can't get a doctor in Fredericton, unless there is one in the family. So maybe the stats are bogus.

I want to leave Germany actually, and for the very same reasons you spoke about, but it is very much more complicated in my case unfortunately.. May Allah help you to choose the best..

With due respect to your decision I think even the Muslim countries are facing the same problem. I live in Bangladesh which is a 92 percent Muslim majority country. But it is sometimes hard to practice islam here. Education system has been turned into something which is contradictory to our believe. School books for children teaches that LGBT is not a bad thing etc. Things are pretty bad when in Saudi Arabia concerts are arranged.

I have lived in Canada all my life and concur 100% with this. The people are lovely and it's a safe, clean, pleasant place. But you have to be ready for hardship when you move to another country. It's hard work and opportunities are plentiful in India itself, so the trade-off is not the same as it was for my parents back in the 1970s and 80s.

Great video! Here's my 2 cents: The Social scene is a Western thing. Difucuty meeting friends is a well-documented thing about Vancouver. I think it's because Vancouver has three large ethnic monocultures, and they're all preoccupied with money. West Coast is lifestyle over the social scene. At the same time, Toronto is much more diverse culturally and economically, and culturally, it has a more outgoing social norm. The housing crunch is partially driven by supply and demand, at least not here in greater Vancouver, where I can see hundreds of brand-new condominiums and townhomes empty or for sale. The real issue is the lack of affordable housing. I've lived in Canada my whole life, and im also considering leaving.

Keep your Muslim religious beliefs in your home do not bring it to the public sorry we Canadians that were born n raised here from generations back have our traditions and beliefs here at home just like you guys back at your country your able to do the things that your religion is called on same goes here so that being said enjoy your new future

Well, as a person who grew up in a Muslim community, I respect your view but I disagree with Azan being loudly heard. I just hate it. It is like a noise interrupting in the daily life. I believe there are apps that play it and you can use them. As for Palestine, sure Canada is on the wrong side but the UAE is the same, they recently normalized the relations, Saudi Arabia said just two days ago they are willing to do so, and most European countries are similar. The US is even worse. How many good options do you have?!

I visited Quebec City and Montreal in 2009 for 2 weeks. It was absolutely lovely. I visited the same cities last September, my romantic notion dissipated. Especially Montreal, so many homeless looking young people on skateboards. I don’t think it’s trendy to wear baggy all black that reeked of BO. Price tag for everything is high, higher than my Los Angeles suburb to be honest. Most ppl are just making ok income, not high earning top tier professionals. How do ppl keep a roof and food on table? Plus transportation and insurance.

#7 - I disagree that this a Canadian only problem, it is NOT. You’ll have the same problem moving south of the border. This is the result of the digital age. People don’t go out and mingle as much as before. Specially in big cities. That is the price to pay when you move to another big city. It will take time BUT this is NOT a Canada only problem.

Best of luck to you and your family. I'm not religious at all, not by a long shot. If they are a god/Allah, fine, if not, okay. My soul can go where ever. But, I think it best for people to align with folks who think like them and have there same values. The West, with all of its problems, does still align with mine. The is no force on religion, and people can believe in who and what they want as long as it does not harm someone else. It was always funny to me that Muslims would want to come to Western nations, whose values don't align with theirs. But anyway, safe journey and may you find your happiness.

In 2007, my yearly gross income was double what I paid for my home. Now my home is worth double my income. My income is still the same amount in 2023 as it was in 2007. Food has increased 30% alone since 2021. So you can see Canadians were rich in 2007 compared to what today's cost of living is.

The only decision that should get anyone to leave Canada is, without doubt, the fact that it's become a totalitarian state thanks to Trudeau. However, he also invited more of you in, and, let's be frank, you want everyone there to be Muslim. And most of them dont want to be Muslim or be dictated to by guys support terrorism to achieve your aim of ruling the world. ALL the other religions in Canada and elsewhere are there for a quality life, and for decades found their prayer spots, ate fish or even kosher, attended public schools but taught their religion privately, survived civil law etc - all except one. Let's face it, the problems all started with the grip on the world caused by the mostly Arabian oil-producing countries holding the world to ransom and getting rich enough to buy out western properties and businesses. So, it really is best for all you the folks here, who feel the same, to head for countries where you fit into the country rather than a country having to fit into your ideologies. It's a win-win.

Huge Canadian ( and the UK) property management companies are in the US buying up blocks of property and jacking up the rent, contributing to our housing crisis. That is an import that has devastated our communities. Canadian companies are making every city a playground for the rich. It's obvious that you have never lived outside of Canada. Canada is probably one of the last countries in the world that accepts people for who they are and has a decent level of respect for belief systems. I get that you want to raise your children in a better environment, but trust me when I tell you this... you are walking into a world of disappointment. Canada itself is about 15 years behind other countries when it comes to this downwards spiral you are speaking of. Sadly, you will find out soon enough that this utopia you want to find, simply doesn't exist and you will discover you have left the variable comforts and safety of Canada behind. I'm not trying to burst your bubble, but am simply sharing what I discovered when I searched for the same things. I think L. Frank Baum said it best.... if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own back yard. If you are lucky in life you will discover that the world doesn't stop turning for you, and that the world that you dream of for your children must be created from within. Many of your numbers are wrong sweetie. Here are the facts;\n2 years ago, you would go to IGA (where food is fresh but it is pricey), you would get out with 2 bags of groceries for about 120$. Today, it is 180$ for the same 2 bags. this is NOT a 10% increase... but almost the double in price!\n\nRent, in Quebec province, have gone from around 1,000$ to 2,400$ in less than 5 years, and each time a tennant leave his place, the landlord rise (against the law but nobody can do anything) the rent often by 25 to 40%!!! The Demand is so high, that he can refuse you for any reason (including racism, children, pet, smokers) he can think of. Again, this is against the common law but in truth, there is nothing anybody can do, unless you can bring him to court, which takes lots of money...\n\nSo in reality, from the last 5 years, almost everything has double in price and salaries have barely start to rise (mostly due to unions who revolted) but if you are not part of one, your salary basically stayed the same.\n\nA very good advice, don't come to Canada. There is no 'dream' here anymore. it is hell. And even if you find a decent job, you will be ask to do the job of 4 peoples and taking your vacation will be near impossible without losing it. If you are not dying in your country, don't come here. Respecting people's rights to choose what they believe and practice - but saddened that so many people\nfollow religions and do not truly research the symbolism, the history, the connections - no one should \nbe attacked for wearing a head covering etc - at the same time Muslims, like many other religious\ngroups just follow what the leaders say - and - if they truly researched they would find out that \nfollowing men and clerics is not wise and not even what our Creator wants for us.\n\nI was raised in a large world wide accessible religion - then, when I saw and heard things that\ndid not add up - I prayed for truth and then pro-actively researched - I compared the teachings\nof that religion from materials with in and from out with - and drew my conclusions - I also\nbeleive that I was led to find some very useful information not of myself - I learned enough\nto make an informed decision to leave that religion. My journey after that has not been an\neasy one as there is a lot of conflicting information and factions in this world - but over time\nmy original decision has been re-enforced by facts - I also came across the origins of Islam\nand who controls it - and that would be a surprise to many - and likewise would surprise\nother people in other religions ( including the popular New Age / Eastern Mystic religions)\nare all run by the same group world wide - and The New Age / Eastern Mysticism have\nbeen marketed as some kind of non religious freedom - but are, in fact religions with\ndogmas and leaders.\n\nThe Truth has set me free - I continue to study and to have faith alone in our Creator alone\nand I try to continue to learn what I can about the world and about spiritual things - to aid\nmy understanding and discernment. Not sure why I got this in my recommendations but I gave it a watch. I would agree with most reasons for your wanting to leave, even as a non-muslim. But what bothers me is how many Muslims are discontented with the social values and economics this federal government has been promoting and implementing - but they helped elect that govt. They threw their support behind the current federal govt because they seemed Muslim-friendly, while at the same time that same government promoted things that contradicted Islamic social values. Also , its my opinion, that govt is responsible for the runaway cost-of-living via inflation because of their horrible fiscal policies.

Dubai. Yes it’s not perfect and more westernized but at least you live in a civil society there. \n\nWhy Dubai is super attractive is because of the ease of setup there to get residency if you know what you’re doing. It can be done rapidly for you and your family. Before you know it you’re looking for a rental there and ready to move. \n\nIve also decided to migrate out of Canada for the reason of seeking a better environment for the sake of maintaining Eman for my wife, children and myself. high cost of living it makes sense to leave Canada all together . You are taxed to death in Canada every thing cost more Canada is a great place if you all ready have lots of money . But if you don’t it’s hard. I find it so weird when they ask for Canadian experience when you just came to Canada I blame the employer they make it difficult for people to get hired and in return people leave to find a job in a different country I did the same thing came to Canada to look for work working in IT and I didn’t get IT job because I did t have any Canadian experience. After two years of working at a job that was not even what I studied I left Canada and found a job that I studied for I got a good job in America Long island New York and never looked back……. I get paid double then I would have if I had gotten a job in Canada any way ….. forget Canadian experience it’s not worth moving to Canada the country has changed. You pay more for everything in the states you get things for a lot less . Car insurance in Canada is so expensive……… do t get me started on the winter ?

Everywhere is the same in terms of inflations , infect having friends in Europe I know is even worse over there . I think your problem is you want to live your life very Islamic , you want everything around you being about religious in your case Islam . That's your choice as we all have a choice , even what I really want to say to you is get a life lol but the only Muslim country even they are changing and thanks god for that for you to move to is Saudi Arabia and good luck to you cause you need it kind of over there lol

People are leaving everywhere to go somewhere increasingly , it seems. Whilst I respect individuals rights to pursue a life in another country , if they are unhappy in their present life...I feel many are missing the point. The majority of countries , face the same problems . It is a global economy and there is no escape from global warming , economic crises and mass immigration, which are common problems in most (if not all) western democracies. Until there are global solutions to deal with these problems , these problems will continue to exist wherever you go.

I left Canada for the same reasons. I am now happily living in Greece. The only thing I want to tell you is that the hijab is not a part of revelation or the Quran. Hijab means to cover the openings (pockets). The hijab is controversial because it was invented during the Abbasids and is not mentioned in the Quran.

I am not from North America. But I too think Toronto is a fine city. Once upon a time maybe back in the 1970s,80s 90s and early 2000s would have been one of the best cities in the world to live in but these days not anymore. Still looks the same like in the past but it has changed the high cost of living and other changes mean standard of living has dropped in the last 10 years. Still a nice city though but hopefully it will bounce back to how the city was in the distant past 2 decades ago and earlier.

I can confirm that income and sales taxes in Canada are not high by world standards when looking to countries beyond the USA. Where I live in Poland, income taxes might appear lower on paper (12% and 32%), but there is an additional healthcare premium of 9% that is above and beyond income taxes that ultimately makes the 'taxes' paid about the same. Not to mention 23% sales taxes that many don't think about as it is included in the price.

The real facts about Islam ,Muslims should honestly think about \n\n  Muslims have alot of trouble debating and arguing certain facts and sources,  and it's  because Islam was started by Satan , Gibril that appeared to Mahamed , was the devil in disguise .  \nDid you know there is a Verses    in the bible , \n\n2 corinthians 11-14\nIt says,\nFor SATAN himself can TRANSFORMS into an angel of light.\n\n\nAlso in Galatians 1-8\n But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel OTHER than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s CURSE !!- \nDidn't Mohamed preach a different gospel?? \n\nIf Mahamed new the gospels and these, verses,, he would have been more careful that Gibril doesn't say something that contradicts other scriptures, or  the past prophets as muslims\n,will tell you they believe IN ALL THE PROPHETS , so  if he heard something  he woould have thought,\nif Allahs words cannot change (sura 18 27) \n\nAnd sura 3.3 says \nHe has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.(ALLAH CONFIRMED THEM SO THEY ARE TRUE) \n\nWhy is this angel saying\njesus didn't die? ? \nAnd Denying he's  son of God ???\n       The most difficult thing to justify logically about this if Jesus didn't die on the cross,\n  they were switched on the cross with someone else,  essentially you are saying that God trick his disciples into thinking  it  was Jesus on the cross, \nso we then believe he was  raised from the dead,b/c God tricked his disciplines REALLY , and by tricking his,disciplines he  mislead millions of Christians?\n     What's more reasonable to assume,  God tricked his disciples and millions of people ? \nOr that Mohammed was  fooled. \n\nBut poor Muslims get confused because the quran has taken characters of the torah and gospels and put them in the quran to give it historical credibility, and make it look continuous \n       But everything the  quran says ,is not consistent with other prophets,\n  and muslims  can't figure out that maybe Mohamed was fooled?? \nThats why they say like\nthere are errors in the torah and gospels , but there isn't , how can there be when you say you believe in all the prophets !!, so God didn't protect the words of his other prophets only Mohameds  ?\n\n\nAnd Satan did exactly the samething with prophet Joseph  smith in the Mormon Church  \n         An angel called Moroni , appeared to him and told him all religions are wrong ,I'm here to tell you ths truth. \n      And he told him ,there's are millions of Gods and you can become a God , if  Joseph Smith knew the scriptures ,he would know there is a verse that says in  \nActual,quote- \n\nProphet Joseph Smith, Jr., History of the Church, v. 6, pp. 307, 308 \n\n“If we should take a million of worlds like this and number their particles, we should find that there are more Gods than there are particles of matter in those worlds.”\n\n\nBut.... ....\nIsaha 43 10  says......\nYe are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me...\n\n\nSo he or have used his,logic and thought God would not contradict himself, why is this Angel Moroni saying there many Gods and you can become one, and isaha is saying , \nno gods before or after me..? \n\n     And if he knew 2 -corinthians 11-14, that Satan can transform  himself into and angel of light,  and \n\nGalations,1-8 \n But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! \n\nhe would have realised he is being deceived..\n    Now you can understand and follow me ,when I talk about Joseph Smith being fooled and being a false prophet , \nbut because you were raised in Islam and are emotionally involved, you can't see it.  \nIf you are being honest with yourself, Satan pulled the same trick on Mahamed  . \n\nPROOF IS HERE \nProphet isaha said\nIn 7.14\n14 So the Lord himself will give you this sign: A virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and she will name him Immanuel [GOD IS,WITH US,). \n\nIn luke 1.32 Gabriel says to Mary \nHe will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.
