Something I've been thinking about. Trump keeps deporting people back to Canada and Mexico, but he also wants to make Canada a part of America (not sure if he wants to do the same with Mexico). How is he going to keep the people he wants to keep out if they become part of the country? What happens to the border and those people?

News Flash: this is happening all over the world. Not just in America. People have been illegally invading other countries all around the world for decades. Especially Canada, the UK, Germany, Sweden, etc.

I live in Vermont, and I know there are miles of open field, where the border has NO indication of where Vermont and Canada borders are..just an open field.

There's something strange going on here!!! It,s not hard to find vid,s of illegals crossing from the U/S into Canada and police acting like bell hops helping them with there luggage. Seen exactly that on a utube vid out of Quebec,and there are many others of them crossing 20 to 40 at a time other places.??????

whats happening is people are coming here, mostly Indians, are coming to Canada as students... then when their student visa is over they claim asylum... when their asylum is eventually denied which can take a while they walk across the border and do it all over again... I believe that is the majority of who is walking across the border to the USA ... Elections and change are coming to Canada soon, but this is so shameful.

When you cross a land border, there is no Exit barrier, only an Entry barrier. Essentially they check you on the way in and can turn you around. Why is it up to Canada to stop people leaving vs the USA stopping people coming in? About 20-30 years ago - before MJ was legal - Canada had to stop USA migrants crossing from WA into BC with illegal MJ the USA couldn’t have cared less.

Im not so sure of the info coming across. Ive seen staggering numbers of immigrants coming north from the US into Quebec and Ontario for a number of years. Quebec had to set up shelters and programs to accommodate how many were coming up into Canada. Watching the RCMP helping them come into Canada, taking their luggage and guiding them Those officers should be charged with being an accomplice to a crime.. that would stop the police from helping bring them in... Maybe it changed and now they are going south?.. but getting to Canada isnt as simple as coming up through warmer weather countries and going south in Winter would be a major issue through snow and weather. Not so sold on the numbers coming from Canada going south though.

Typically a border is patrolled by both sides... if migrants are getting into US from Canada isn't it the responsibility of both countries to patrol the border? why is this only a Canadian problem?
