Looking on Google maps it’s very easy to zoom in on all the sections where people can walk from one road or hiking track in Canada to a USA road. They could even enter using a kayak or canoe. ?

whats happening is people are coming here, mostly Indians, are coming to Canada as students... then when their student visa is over they claim asylum... when their asylum is eventually denied which can take a while they walk across the border and do it all over again... I believe that is the majority of who is walking across the border to the USA ... Elections and change are coming to Canada soon, but this is so shameful.

When you cross a land border, there is no Exit barrier, only an Entry barrier. Essentially they check you on the way in and can turn you around. Why is it up to Canada to stop people leaving vs the USA stopping people coming in? Getting Canadian visa is very easy under Truduea Liberals, Liberals approved millions of visitors/ students/ temporary workers visa every year without proper vetting, most of these people coming from North India, so for them it’s easy to land in Canada and then they cross to US. I used to think Pres. Trump was being too hard on Canada then I got a look at the tariffs they impose on our goods. Some as high as 250%. I think Trump just wants a level playing field and a lot of help from Canada on the border. I think Poilievre feels the need to talk tough in response but I think he really wants the same things as Trump.
