I am sorry, if this harsh but America can't fix the world and we aren't responsible for those from other countries. It really annoys me that all we hear is poor immigrants and immigrants rights. Sice Biden has taken office the housing crisis has gotten out of the control. Why? Simple math, you move in billions of people, equal population what you already have, but can't increase housing, they have to go somewhere. With the government helping migraints, more is going to them than our own. What is happening is they are pushing out people in migraint held cities and displacing existing residents. So those disbled , elderly, veterans and drug addicted people who are being displaced are being forced to smaller communities that don't have the infrastructure in place to cope with so many displaced people. Then you end up with a huge issue of Homeless people trying to live in Tents in the middle of winter. j You have a vast number of elderly women taking to van life because they can't afford to live any other way. Would you like to your Grandma living in Van, constantly on the go? YOu are being UNAmerican in your news reporting, when you fail to give fair reporting and do equal amount of investigating into who this actually affects amount the American people. Far as I am concerned you need to be shut down, because you are enemy of the US.

The kind of deportation Trump has been talking about has gone beyond people that are here illegally. Trump has expanded it to include what he calls 'undocumented' migrants. That group includes people waiting for their asylum hearings, DACA recipients and protected status migrants/refugees, and people that have already had their asylum hearings, but are awaiting their citizenship hearings. \nAs for the narrative about 'murderers' and 'violent/horrible' criminals being in our country, it's like....wait...what??? Now, if you KNOW a person is a convicted murderer or horrible criminal, WHY would you allow them into or allow them to stay in this country to begin with? And, you'd kind of have to allow them to stay, otherwise, how the hell would you know how many of them are here?? Or who they are?? You can bet your butt that Pres. Biden didn't allow any people like this, that weren't in our prison system, yet 'known' to remain on US soil. That's not how it works! Not to mention, a large portion of the 13 to 15,000 number that Trump and the Right keep tossing out there, are from when Trump was in office! NOT during Pres. Biden's administration! \nIt's all been a lie manufactured for one purpose: to scare monger Trump's base. And it worked. Now Trump 'has a mandate' to put on an insane, cruel, probably hugely illegal 'show', of him rounding up large numbers of people and shipping them off to who the hell knows where..... whether they were here illegally or not. (he's already vowed to deport the 20,000 Haitians in Springfield, even tho they entered the country, LEGALLY, while TRUMP was president! HE is the one that signed their protected status into law!) Trump's deportation extravaganza is going to be ugly, brutal, bloody, grim and senselessly cruel, to a great many people that more likely than not, have no reason to be deported.

I can see services and consumer products going up and of course you will have another liar in the WH press secretary room blaming the Biden administration for it. Same old story. It will probably be a story similar to the border wall, Mexico will pay for it. Where's the wall and when did Mexico pay for the part that was built? Ah, let's not mention that all those privately owned jails and detention centers (many owned by wealthy reps) will be ripping off the federal government/you the taxpayer. They will overcharge for lodging, food, blankets, you name it.  \nRemember, you might want deport all the illegal immigrants, but there are international laws as well. The countries that you might want to deport those immigrants might say, no. we don't want them. So, then, they become the responsibility of the US Government. Those people will be in limbo, meanwhile, we the taxpayers will paying for housing, feeding, clothing, them and their health care. \n\nOh, we haven't talked about climate change.... migration to the northern wealthier countries won't stop due to climate change. It won't stop here or in Europe. But, no many people are talking about it or preparing for it. \n\nNow the Reps have control of the executive branch, the congress (both chambers), and the Supreme Court is in his pocket. So, there will be no one to blame but themselves if they don't fix what they say they will fix: Immigration, ACA, the Economy, and more.

When Jesus was on this earth he preached in fields and those who wanted to hear listened and those who didn't walked away and he did not stop them and he did not go into pagan temples where people were having sex with animals and tell them to stop it. God gave us free will for a reason. If they walk away and don't want to listen then leave them alone. Leave them alone. Mind your own business. Get a life. Worry about your own sins that you are trying to avoid by focusing on the sins of others.

The problem I see is that Trump and Vance call people who are living in the US legally, “illegals“. I wonder how many legal residents they are going to deport.

If you entered or are staying in the US illegally, you are a criminal simple as that and what they call family separation is a consequence of their actions just like it happens for US citizen, if a father commits a crime he will be separated from his family when he goes to jail, whats the point here?

What they should do is hit pause on immigration. I believe they should grandfather in those who arrived prior to a specified year.\n\nI’m sure the majority is ok with immigration. Other countries have stricter policies than we do and they’re thriving. and I believe don’t have as many issues as we do. \n\nAmerica leaders need to look into how other successful countries are running things and see how they can implement or improve on those.

Problem with Indians is that they can’t see their own succeeding. If someone from kerela succeeds we mock their culture, call them names, someone from Punjab succeeds we mock their religion and culture, same with Haryanvis, gujratis. Where there are no regional differences, there are caste differences in the states of up and Bihar which has stopped them from developing. I also came to Canada in 2006 as an immigrant with my 2 bags and started my new life with empty handed which almost all Indians had started on their time. Yes it’s very hard to adopt other cultures 100% for first generation. But have you think how this new immigrants have their own house and good jobs or business. Why their kids achieved higher education without any loan because their parents worked 7 days without looking around so called culture. They believe in work hard and focus on their family and kids and in extra time visit temple or Gurudwara just to keep live their believes. Do you know how many places where you find 3 times free hot food for everyone in Brampton at Gurudwara and Temple without looking at his originality. \nDon’t think the immigrants are coming here are poor in their country or helpless like refugees. Most of are millionaires in India but in Indian culture the stupid thoughts is to earn for next 7 generations so because of that greediness they work here 7 days and that’s why they are not homeless. As they have some values of their Indian culture they have not drug addictions.\nNot 100% Indian are good and loyal or honest. There are few which you can find in any culture or religion.\nSo in bottom line immigrants are here because of govt policies and invitations. They are not came as refugees. You can’t forced anyone where they have to stay and in how many percentage. Many people don’t live in GTA or ran away from GTA because they can’t afford house and can’t stand in competitive market. First teach your kids to atleast complete high school. The statistics of white kids dropping out of high school is so high and yet they complain of stealing jobs. And the few children who do complete high school won't even go to college or do their post grad. And the ones who actually go until that level will study in ivy league colleges that too in the US. And those kids will never come back to Canada and work after that. They will get a job in US itself. So stop complaining that Indian students steal jobs when they are the only ones available for those jobs that require a college or post grad qualification.

But today Ontario with 18% acceptance of international students to medical school (of course they went back to their countries to practice,leaving us short of family doctors) has now ban this practise to medical schools. My friends daughters had to go to Caribbean’s and UK to study and eventually has to stay there because they met their partners there and also could not convert their degrees to return to Canada. Canada only accept 400 out of 1400 doctors to come back here per year.

Close the borders. ZERO refugees, ZERO Indians. Canada should be CLOSED. Would you have your own family and children suffer while you took care of someone elses instead?? Mz Lyan, both my parents are Chinese-Cantonese. They fought WW2 and earned their right as naturalized Canadians. I have spent many years in the US working high tech jobs and married an American. I love being Canadian and both my parents are planted in Ottawa. Canada has never question my Citizenship. My only beef with the Hong Kong Chinese money has made it impossible to afford living in Vancouver.\n\nLeave if you must but Canada will always welcome it's Commonwealth citizens.

Just look into the speeches of Pannun who teh US says India tried to kill. India will not not budge on this issue. Relations with US and Canada can only improve only if they stop allowing their citizens to carry our terror activties against India on their soil. This is the truth, no matter what pro-US Indians are trying to tell you.\n\nIndia's best strategy is to leverage its relationship with the US to boost its economic growth, even if it means enduring some short-term humiliation. At the same time, India should focus on achieving self-reliance in critical technologies and operating systems and creating its own social media platforms, among others. That is the only solution.

I'm an immigrant as well, but not from India. I experienced culture shock when I arrived in Canada, but I managed to adjust to the “Canadian ways.” While I haven't fully adapted since I wasn't born and raised here, I've been living here for years. It's important to respect and be polite to Canadians. It feels like they are welcoming us into their home, so we should be respectful, mindful, and considerate. Most Canadians I've met are very nice and polite.

We are a German-American family who moved to Germany from Prague 12 years ago. When we arrived we had zero assets, now we are financially independent and secure for life. My wife is American and finds Germany far superior to the US with regards to safety (gun-control), public transport quality, health-care, paid vacations and social services. I am surprised by the comments here, as I find real estate really cheap in Germany compared to other Western countries and it's a great place to buy real estate to rent out and get the tax advantages. Sure, income tax is high in Germany, but as a family you also get a lot in return for it and there are massive benefits for disabled people and children (Kindergeld), while education is also free and health-care is universal as well. Everybody wanting to move elsewhere has to consider whereever they go they will be taking themselves - and if complaining is a passion, you will be doing that everywhere you go.

I spent years learning German, traveled throughout Germany, took courses in Germany to get up to between the B1/2 level, have a college degree, look German, German heritage… and was consistently treated like I didn’t belong and shouldn’t stay. With the skills and certifications I’ll have at the end of my graduate education, I will be able to make 2-3x as much in my home country as I could in Germany with fewer taxes and lower home prices. Why would anyone other than a low-skilled worker with few options ever want to move to Germany? The US, Canada, the UK, and even France are far better destinations for skilled workers, and yet the German bureaucracy still acts like every Italian and Turk has nothing better to do than learn German and work at a VW factory in Stuttgart.\n\nReally, Germany and the Germans just don’t get it, and at this point I doubt they ever will. They didn’t even want the Russlanddeutsch back after the end of the Cold War.

I am a Canadian Indian who came here in 1974, I was 8 years old when I came to Canada, back in my generation we respected the Canadian value system and culture and appreciation for the Country, we didn't come here with the mentality to dominate a country that accepted and open their doors to immigrants, I feel this young generations of today lack respect, manners, they have a strong sense of entitlement and a superiority complex that doesn't blend in with the Canadian culture please go back to India as it's not fair that we paid our taxes here for so many years and you come to take our jobs and dominate us and think you're so much smarter than Canadians if this is the case why are you flocking to our Country, please stay in your own Country and be better over there, this is not Indian so don't change the Canadian value system to be like India, I'm so disappointed with your unwanted behaviors and how you ruined our Country!

Dear Hind Hassan why I never seen any of your videos on topics like criminality in Europe caused by immigrants? Drugs, rapes, religion based assaults, homophobic or xenophobic attacks, violence and sexism against females?! Hm ? You always just advocates for this poor immigrants who try to flee war zones!! Where in the heck is war in Afghanistan now? Isn’t status of war refugee obtained by the law that they can apply for asylum in first safe country? If they doesn’t do ir then they are not refugees, they are economic migrants and therefore without right to demand the entry to Europe!! Me as well as European citizen if I want to go out of EU and we have no free visa policy with that country I need to apply for Visa, I do not go simply to the border with that country and requesting the entry out of nowhere!! There are certain legal procedures what applies even to us westerners and we need to follow them as well!!!

It blows me away every time they exploit how “entitled” they’re! As a professional, I have some problems, but mostly they are bearable.\n\nWhat is not though, is that I'm paying sometimes the price of the uncontrollable welcome of illegal immigrants, that built a stereotype in the Germans mindset.\n\nI'm treated sometimes as an illegal immigrant although I work on a top company in Germany and have upper level salary in my industry.\n\nGermany has damaged the attractiveness for professionals. On the other hand, in US one can't feel that.

In Canada, there is not enough housing and jobs are scarce, especially for anyone at the entry level or basic wage. We've been absolutely swamped. This is not the fault of the immigrants or the students, it's the fault of our extremely stupid and short sighted government. Most of those immigrants I encounter are good people, polite and considerate. But some, well I understand where the complaints about rude and inconsiderate behaviour come from, because it only takes a few bad experiences to get people angry. I've experienced it myself, but most of it (from my experience) seems to be from students who are very loud and impolite on public transit. The housing situation here is INSANE, prices are sky high and very little to choose from. A lot of seniors now can only afford to rent a room (after having worked all their lives and very little to show for it), and prices are up about 50% from only 5 years ago. The government says inflation is a fraction of what it is in real life, and living expenses have exploded. As I understand it, some people made a lot of money offering services to bring students and low wage workers in, with no consideration to the damage they were doing to all of us who were born and raised here - they wanted to make their million dollars. Another problem is that once someone arrives here, what they find is NOT what they were led to believe. What students and immigrants are told they need to live here is an absolute lie, living here in Canada has become very expensive. Many workers are severely under paid, and never even see the legal minimum wage, and the problem with that is, almost no Canadian will be hired on to those jobs - the reasons are that imported foreign workers will work below minimum wage because they are trapped here, and the Canadians already know that they will only struggle if they take jobs that pay so poorly. So yes, a lot of Canadians are VERY angry, and you really can't blame them. Once again, the Canadian government is responsible for much of this, and crooked employers who are willing to take advantage of low wage labour. It's an absolute mess.

The grass is always greener. We are not the US thank god. Greed over benefits over better education and in general a greater social safety net. The large centres in Canada have had there real estate exploited by big business and wannabee real estate tycoons it like the many other schemes that came before are looking to exploit working class people and that has made more difficult for people that doesnt mena Canada doesnt have opportunity. Those who leave are all looking for the brass ring it doesnt mean the US is the answer for some people it is. Funny we all expect what we need should be ours for the taking and we think if we dont grt it thay we are being cheated. The US is a larger market and if you have what they need you are likely to get more for it because of quality competition is high. It is here too just not as much choice. No one is holding you here things go in cycles eventually the real estate will find a level and people will start in better positions. No, the US doesn’t have universal health care but there are insurance plans and the care is enormously better. My girlfriend had 4th stage throat cancer. In Calgary the doctors at some point told her there was nothing more they could do for her and to get her affairs in order. Her father sent her to the Anderson Clinic in Houston - yes it was expensive but they treated her, saved her life and that was 24 years ago. \nIt’s common in our emergency rooms to wait up to 12 hours to be seen. \nOur system isn’t progressive and doctors and nurses don’t get paid near as well as in the States. That being said, I am happy that I don’t have to pay to see the doctor or have a stay in the hospital. \nCost of Living: Once upon a time it was good - housing was cheap and many companies had the full range of benefits and salaries were equal to the cost of living. Now these same companies have stripped the benefits by hiring people under contract so they don’t have to give them benefits. \nRents are through the roof and in Calgary there are no rent caps. Buying a decent house in a decent neighbourhood is impossible unless you inherit or make a six figure income. This, in no small part, has created a homelessness crisis that never had been seen in such numbers before. Crime also is getting worse by the day. Canada was once known as a safe country. This is no longer the case.\nEverything is very expensive and the tax very high. Plus, we have to suffer winter! Where I live, the joke is that we have two seasons - July and winter!\nI still like my city (not love) but I am retired and own two houses - one inherited and the other bought when it was affordable (32 years ago). Calgary would not be a place I would live if I was a newcomer. Vancouver is beautiful but you really pay for it. \nTrudeau has helped make a big mess of things with immigration and lax criminal laws.
