This is a major reason the southern border states educational system is so poor. The schools are required by federal law to educate illegals free and they don't even speak English. This is heartbreaking. What the Venezuelan people are going through is starving due to the mass corruption of their leaders. It used to be a flourishing country. I don't have the answers, but I do know is that we should have compassion.

As a Venezuelan who migrated and still travels in the proper ways I can surely say many there want true help. Venezuela is insane compared to what you people even live whit, best work you can get there will make you up to 90-120 bucks a month, no food in supermarkets, some insanely expensive which will make you choose between buy bread or tuna and rice for a whole month ( imagine not being able to eat your favorite meats or prefered food FOR MONTHS, EVEN SOME YEARS) , if you are a professional or educated of course the opportunity grows up but not in a socialist country. as we know you can be a socialist in a capitalist system but not the opposite and this is a fact. Those people are genuinely scared with no home back in their country as for many houses and private properties have been removed with force, some of you sure will be wondering how or why not to follow the main curse to migrate? I had to spend 3 days sleeping on a huge queue with many other people also sleeping in the streets to get our passport(that's was the easy part, 4 years to get the date to finally get that fucker passport.), something so simply done in other countries which such ease, not to mention the whole cost for a passport (I knew people who paid aroundn 700usd to get it asap). \n\nPlease don't pitty these people nor hate on any inmigrants, some families there really wish for a future, and again as someone who had the opportunity to do my papers. What's happened to canada is what is happening to all countries with woke leadership. We have made wedge issues a priority despite the fact they don't tangibly matter. Resources go into absolute nothing of value. We declared a climate emergency despite being less than 1% of global emissions. This has caused us to literally turn down lucrative LNG contracts that would have reduced the emissions of coal burning nations by 50%. It has made us insane. We sold all our gold and are printing money while expecting the entire middle class to bear the burden of this money printing. Billions have to Ukraine and nobody even knows why.

People think that owning investment properties means you're some sort of god. If we didn't have any resources our entire economy would be focussed on building homes. The thing is, the houses that builders build in this country are terrible. They don't insulate well, the materials used are crap, the workmanship is poor. People on average now take out mortgages 6-7x their income. To keep property booming we open the floodgates for immigrants. The societal landscape of our country is changing for the worse. Looking around Melbourne and Sydney, most people are either Chinese or Indian now. These people run away from their countries (which they think are crap compared to the West) and then they buy houses here resulting in people born in Australia losing out.\n\nThe entire thing is a god damn ponzi scheme.

Canada still uses 70s and 80s mentality when operating the country.\nImmigration is important, but is managed extremely poorly. Many new migrants struggle to find a home and to get the proper documents to establish themselves, like the rest of us.\nCanada allowed foreign buyers to buy properties and lands, which have driven the housing market to an insane level we see today. Canadians have to go into debt just to have a roof.\nThe current government spend too much time/money trying to look morally correct than actually doing his freaking job to balance the economy. Thank the Democrats for letting this happen. We cannot support the people we have now so how are these people going to get the help they need? People need to wake up and see that this administration doesn't give a damn about you or this country.

Build towns that are surrounded by walls give them a small space to live and build factories. Allow these people to have a small check and live and work in those small cities say in the middle of nowhere. Make them work for 1 year in those places and as long as they do good not crime and show up for work and take care of there living space then allow them to become citizens. That way you weed out the criminals and non hard workers. In 1 year you will have a good idea of who should be staying. Also its them paying for there spot and contributing to the us economy. Once they become contributing members of society and they get on there feet out of each check they will take a small amount to pay for all the resources that were used to help them. Also I belive the majority of the ones let in should be women and the young children. If I don't get free help working full time struggling they shouldn't either. Let's make america a manufacturing power house like we're were in the past and the only reason we are a super power now. Also do the same thing for criminals and the homeless teach them worth ethic and how to follow laws instead of giving them handouts to go buy more dope

it's funny I moved to Canada a little over a year ago and I want to move back to Australia for some of the reasons you want to leave Australia and more. Housing affordability here is a pipe dream unless you like living near mountains and want a laid back life like the life in Perth, in Calgary. But Calgary's job market is not great and that pretty much extends to every province except Ontario and BC. Living cost in Canada is very high... compared to what I experienced in AU, this is more expensive than living in Sydney. (I live in Toronto but this extends to Vancouver as well.) The healthcare system is weak, inefficient and inconvenient. Bureaucracy is again very slow, inconvenient and in some cases so backwards. Banking is not great, super inconvenient, not people-centric, inefficient and very much backward imo.. work-life balance or quality of life is way better in AU. Infrastructure development is slow and not great at all for a world-class country and personally, I expected better from Toronto.. (I do understand why it is the way it is right now, some justified reasons but some not so much) Things I do give props to CA... Diversity and inclusiveness is not just marketing slogan like in AU.. I don't feel like an outsider here... Its incredible. Job market is here much better than in AU. If you're moving from a country like AU, you will feel how capitalism here is made to make more money out of you every step of the way. But also, you will see how you can use that system to make alot of money. I think Canada is a great place to live if you're an entrepreneur or business person and making money is a primary requirement. But if you're someone who loves quality of life and work-life balance and want to probably own a good house, right now CA is not there. Also this doesn't mean CA isn't great, its fantastic... but compared to AU, canada comes short in many fronts. Also I love the weather here even if we have a pretty long winter.

If only there were some kind of trained and well armed group of men that could somehow guard the nation. Well, we'll just have to make one. We'll call it the National Guarders or something like that. Man, I really do love everyone who is currently in office for our government at the moment. I just love letting any & everyone into our country, not to mention the cost of groceries & gas is amazing too! I absolutely love paying almost $7.00 just for a gallon of milk. It also just makes me think about such better times that were...... I don't know, like three fucking years ago! When the average American could afford to buy groceries & gas, and any other essential as needed. \n\nNow we will find housing for all of the people illegally entering our country, while we have more than enough Veterans sleeping on the street, & not to mention that 22 Veterans a day kill them selves on average. Thank you, Democrats, seriously thank the Fuck out of you people!!!?

Okay let me get to the point I understand immigrants that migrate from other places that are suffering and so on the only thing I am against once we have immigrants in this country like us and even Canada we as US citizens and in some cases the Canadian citizens we be left in the back burner while the people that are not from here they tend to get first priority which is not they get more of the services then us citizens especially when it comes to food stamps health insurance housing jobs and so on. I understand they're human like everybody else but don't cast us to the side just to cater to them.
