Why are we surprised? To the people that voted for the people who had no plans to stop illegal immigration why don’t you invite them to live with you? Mexico shoots people at the Guatemalan border and we have people saying it should be illegal to stop these people. We have no hope because we have no back bone.

All of those people that cross illegally are detained and returned. Don't be fooled by the scare tactics they use every single time it's getting close to elections. Then if they win, you hear nothing about it for three years. Immigration, gays, abortion and police funding or defunding are the tactics these idealess Republicans use only when it's time to vote. Or did illegal immigration stop under trump? Or LGBTQ community? Or abortion? It's all bullshit. They don't show the days and nights when literally no one is crossing the border.

Should just dismantle the bridge and replace it with a drawbridge or something that can be retracted.\n\nThis is an invasion. This happened because President Biden has not put in place a REAL immigration policy to put a stop to these migraines simply crossing the border and being set free in the US. They just walking into America and being let loose and go free. This is craziness.

This is absolutely disgusting thanks to Biden and thanks to democrats. Your horrible policy’s have caused a mass invasion across our borders for false promises of everything free when dems are in power. Most are human trafficked and smuggled with drugs into OUR country. 1000s of these ppl die and 1000s of children go missing. We need tougher immigration policy’s to stop this. We can not afford them. Most will go on our social programs and other will steal citizen’s identity and small percent will actually work and do it cheaper which makes getting a job for actual citizens harder. Not even including the free housing and food and every other thing they get to take care of them as well. This needs to stop

Hopefully this will deter immigrants from using usa as an interim stop to get to canada. Biden ended Title 42, which means most of these illegals will probably bussed to other us cities so taxpayers can take care of them. Looks like Canada is trying to do what Trump did for 4 years in the usa, deter illegal immigration.

It seems like a good, strong border wall might stop illegal immigration.

Sad part is that any “anti” immigration stance is just unamerican. But this is obviously out of control. Make an Ellis island type facility on the border. Take their name and info with a waiting period to find any criminal records or prior deportations. Give people the chance to do it legally and stop treating them like cattle in make shift camps. It makes me happy to see all the comments of legal immigrants to the US who are angered by this. Personally I have no issues with legal immigration from any country and I respect it and I'll break bread with you cuz your an American now like me. I think legal immigrants are a breath of fresh air and we can have some support coming from the Hispanic community against illegal immigration. Sm people think if your hard on illegal immigration your racist against Hispanics but that's not it at all. We need more legal immigrants with this mindset to help diversify the republican party and help to stop democrats from labeling it as a racist party. Now adays so many people aren't republican solely because they aren't white and think the democratic party is more favorable to anyone of color. But the republican party favors Americans period regardless of race. Illegal immigration is bad even if America was in a totally different place and bordered a white nation we still wouldn't want em in here just as much. If Canada had a curropt authoritan government and they were all illegally immigrating here than it'd be them we'd be having these disputes with. This is not a racial thing, this is about breaking the law and hurting the US economy.

Over 300,000 homeless veterans wander the streets searching for food and shelter currently. Dying at an estimated rate of 22 a day due to self inflicted harm….the system in place to take care of them and provide comprehensive medical care is crippled and broken….every SINGLE ONE of these men and women has a head full of bad memories and experiences from defending their country in war (some missing limbs)….can’t hold a job and have trouble finding a job….NOONE is making substantial and reinforced efforts to care for these brave men and women. Yet, if you cross that border illegally you’re given shelter (free stay at 5star hotels in NYC sound nice)…comprehensive medical care…food stamps and even job placement for some. And in some cases, we’re providing that help to individuals who are simply making a pit stop between Mexico and Canada because it’s better for them there according to some. Frankly, we have enough issues that are swallowing us whole and need to focus on building up and caring for our own citizens and force stop mass migration, strongly enforce deportation as well as employing more case workers to help with legal immigration process. We spend all this money sending to Ukraine and yet here we are, cutting our own throats to save someone else’s hand. I have no issue with legal immigration and asylum but you need to go through the process like those before you. I know this is asking a lot but it IS possibly to make it work

If we want to stop mass immigration we must create opportunities where mass immigration emanate from. America is the land of plenty and immigration. It is a fabricated mechanism for wealth creation. It's original purpose was intended for exclusive and not inclusive purposes. The earth was created for impossible exclusivity. No individual can physically exist infinitely, so why attempt to control resources that existed before those who try. trying to control earth is like trying to control any other planet in our universe. What if the boarder guard start to shoot , then what ! Can’t try to over run and bombard people in their own country and if they over power the guards they can take their weapons, that definitely is not a good look ! There is a process that people have to follow and if the guard doesn’t stop them , then when would it stop because news travel fast and every other immigrants will head to that part of the boarder and rush in , can’t have all those people who have not been ID running a muck in the country because that would break down every day security because some of those people are criminals and others will turn into criminals just to be able to survive ! That is organized and orchestrated by the Republicans to embarrass , Biden government, that just showed that most republicans are not really patriots, they will break down the fiber of this country just to get their point across , they are using immigration to turn the American people against Biden government ! All that is happening because of Trump indictment ! Hmm ?

I've been saying it for years, buidling a wall, or tightening immigration is a waste of time when you can just put machine gun emplacements with interlocking fields of fire all over the border. You don't even have to cover all of the border, just catch a few groups of law breakers trying to climb the new lead based wall on camera, they'll stop coming.

Solution. Instead of sending $77 billion dollars to a lost war to Ukraine. Use that $$ to create jobs in Central/South America. That way you stop immigration and we can take advantage of their cheap labor. Which is the only way we can compete against China. \nYou are welcome!!!!!????????

Then overhaul our social safety net programs from coast to coast to coast and get all the free loaders off it and back to work. Ya Ya we're sweet. Why don't you Yanks stop the immigration flow like you want Mexico and the South to do! It must be real bad in the US to have so many people with nothing, to fear to live in the US.

Well the governments of Canada have made it illegal for us to express our views. As a white English Canadian I don't think most of us hate people because they came from abroad. If people came to Canada and actually became Canadians I don't think 90% of people have an issue with that. The problem is people are coming here and are not assimilating. Especially the people from Asian and African nations. But this is not surprising to me because their culture is so different from ours. I would prefer immigrants came from northern Europe especially the British Isles and France due to having a shared history, values, and culture similar to Canada. \n\nThe other issue is mass immigration mostly only benefits wealthy people because they get cheap labour. People coming from countries with a much lower standard of living are used to earning less and living with less so they depress wages for working people here. The so called skilled immigrants that our government tells us will solve all of our nations problems are not. No one recognizes their skills here so they end up taking jobs away from other Canadians. \n\nI think Canada's solution would be to stop relying on foreigners and invest in Canadian people. I would cut immigration levels by 75%. I would limit immigrant applicants to make up only 5% from one country. Also we should only allow Canadian citizens to own property. Dual citizenship should be eliminated. You should only be loyal to Canada. \n\nThe government should also stop spending money on Black lives Matter, criminals, drug addicts, and other socialist non-sense. Government spending and taxes should be cut in half and free enterprise should be encouraged. We should be using money towards infrastructure and education. We should be training Canadians to become engineers, doctors, and skilled tradesmen. I would rather invest in our own people that try to accommodate foreigners.

Stop inviting more people until we get the ones that are here a home, health care, education and a job. Once we get that under control, people will have kids again and invite others again at a manageable number. Immigration is not essential.
