The pregnant woman, the reason she probably moved back is because all Canadians get paid maternity leave for 1 year, and I think extended coverage you can get up to 18 months, after having a kid. It's not your full pay, but a good chunk of it. As long as you were employed for a certain time before giving birth, or reaching a certain stage in your pregnancy Im not sure EXACTLY how it works. America you get 3 months off... unpaid. Forcing most parents with no benefit from work to struggle financially just to watch their kid, or hire expensive help, and have a stranger watch and raise your 3 month old for half the time.

Hey there, you fine American... Just to let you understand, our system is FAR from perfect, but it's still easy access and quick service IF you don't need a rare specialist or a not so rare one). Sometimes, it ends up in a tragedy, but MOST times, it allows for the neediest to get it first. \nAs far as having children here, we have a NEGATIVE birthrate, so our government PAYS us to have children. My son grew up in Quebec, and they have a double everything. Double taxes (not that bad after the tax deductions and credits), but they also Double the safety net and services, compared to the rest of Canada. Not only was childbirth free, so were the pre-natal courses and everything else, AND we got around 1000$/mo in childcare benefits, until he turned 18, with full of tax credits per kid. Plus, daycare was 5$/day back then, it's 7$/day almost 20 years later.. Pretty citizen friendly. \nThings MIGHT be changing though. Our conservatives are taking their talking points from the US GOP since COVID, and they are all-in to please their Oil lobby overlords and donators out in our prairies region. The Alberta Premier is a far-right conspiracy nutcase and her new pet-project is Capitalist healthcare (among her trolley of lunacies). SAME place the far-right rednecks always come at us from. I watch these videos of immigrants going to Canada, the US,UK, and Australia. You have to listen to them complain about how hard it is where they are from and in their new country. But, they don’t give a flying fudge about how hard we have been working our whole lives. So basically I am listening to grown folks whine about work. I can just go to work for that.

As a Canadian who lived in the US (and all over the US) for over five years, I just wanted to comment on this video. \n\nIn your video, you seem to be shocked with Canadians reactions to school shootings and health care in the US. Much like Americans paint all of Canada with one brush, Canadians do the same. We watch American news channels more than Canadian news channels, and we read news from American sources more than Canadian sources. American news really is designed to scare people, and Canadians are easily scared! Not all of us consume only American news sources, but most of us do, and that’s just simply based on the fact that Google, Facebook, CNN, ABC, etc. are American companies. Yes of course there are safe communities and cities in the US, and yes of course if you have a good job you probably don’t have to worry much about health care.\n\nDuring my time in the US, I lived in Miami, Chicago and Seattle. I didn’t like Miami. It’s kind of another world down there. Seattle was ok. Chicago though… I absolutely loved living there. And if given the opportunity, that is where I would live for the rest of my life. People will say “Chicago! It’s so violent and problems blah blah”, but like you said, there are areas, even in big cities, that are super safe and fun to live in. \n\nI live in Toronto now, and I wouldn’t hesitate to move back to Chicago if given the opportunity. My god yes, this exactly what I'm seeing as a born and raised Canadian. I just work hard, have most of my money taken and limits to me to just working 40+ hours a week so I can go home and watch some youtube. Everything you're saying doesn't just apply to immigrants. People born and raised here are seeing how screwed they're getting, and we're supporting everyone who is coming here, or need more medical, or income support, or have a bunch of kids and are single, and that's is all you get to do.

Your video just popped up and I was drawn to watch it. I have been in Sydney for 7 years. Same pathway in - a student visa, but I got PR through my studies soon after my graduation and now a citizen. Yes, I agree that Australian permanent residency is tough, but I also realise that not equipping yourself with the right information creates a hurdle for many people. If PR is the goal, the SOL and every other related information leading from that list should be your manual. Let that information guide your decisions. However, I concur that Australia's stance on immigration is confusing - harping on about skilled shortages and wanting to attract the right people, but also keeping them in limbo for ages. One of the top issues is being black. Seen as black and identified as black when you leave a predominantly Black Country. \nWhen I watch the various Realestate shows of white people buying property abroad as second home or just packing up and moving. I always say it must be nice! Because the reality is they can see them self almost everywhere unless they choose to go into a remote area then that’s the only exception but even then as long they learn the language and respect the culture they are good they are liked welcomed and even seen as fascinating. Not saying they don’t have to struggle but the colour of their skin is the least! \nAmerica is great if your trying to be self made, be your own business owner, and other random ventures you want to dabble in. But to just go there and be a regular teacher, doctor, lawyer, engineer to the low and middle class you’ll end up with the same financial issues and struggles as a result. You gotta now cater to the rich and famous wealthy people but then it’s back to never being home and not enough time for family. \nThe reality is if we could make the money we make here in North America and Uk back home in in the Caribbean and specific countries in Africa it would be a dream come true and that goes for other communist countries too. You truly have to know what makes you happy. Make money but enjoy life it might mean living below your means even though you can can afford a bit better life style. People do it all the time back home (not because they want to I know) but for some reason when you move abroad a one bedroom for your single self is to small, the car under $24k isn’t good enough, you don’t want your kids to share a room so you need a bigger house and the list goes on and on. \nCanada is boring if your not in a major city with money to spend you know why? Because people forget the population of the entire country of Canada is only a 3rd, 4th, 10th of the population of certain countries that immigrants came from and in the case of the US population it’s 100x more than Canada. So of course there’s more opportunities there. \nAnd finally imagine if more countries didn’t need visas to travel? They really would just come to make money and go back home or live bicoastal. Even just the freedom of travel half of the immigrants would of settled elsewhere before the year was up or go back home.

The first time I arrived in Vancouver in 2018, I was shocked. As soon as I left the airport door, I saw tissue, disposable glasses, and other garbage left in the city. The further I went, the more I saw them. Before I moved to Canada, I lived in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Serbia, The United States, and for a short time in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Netherland, Germany, and England, but I have never seen the amount of garbage that people leave in different Canadian cities. Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec are no less than Vancouver. Canadian and Canada Governments don't care about this tragedy. I think everything that says about Canada as a clean and powerful culture is not true. You don't need to travel to Canada to see this. Just watch some videos about walking in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec. You will find the truth. Impossible for you to walk in a Canadian city and you don't see the dark side of that. Everywhere you will see garbage. You will never see this in Europe, Australia, the United States, Japan, and Korea. This amount of waste is not even seen in Malaysian, Indonesian, or Thailand cities. It is impossible for you to use public transport and not see a lot of garbage at stations or on the route. You will be surprised to find a lot of garbage even in the woods - by the rivers and on the beaches in Canada. I wish the Canadians woke up and had no enmity with their country.

I have to disagree with all the comments. We lived in Texas for about 3 years. It was horrible. Jobs were scarce and its dangerous. Every night we had to watch our backs. Crime is incredibly high. We didn't feel safe. And the health care. Oh boy it's bad. If you don't have good coverage your not getting health treatment. We never had the funds to see a doctor because it was just too damn expensive. We moved to Toronto. Couldn't be happier. We don't have to worry about the crime so we feel safe. Sure the health care is slow that's true but at least it's free we don't have to pay a dime to see a doctor. And plus. WEED IS LEGAL. I can smoke all the weed I want here without facing any questioning by the authorities. So I think it's not fair for you guys to talk bad about this great country.

At least on APTN they don't hold anything back, and you might just be surprised how real racism really is in cxnxdx. From the black shoplifters I knew from r/Shoplifting back before it was shut down it was common knowledge that there was racial profiling. To be honest, this whole video seems so biased. I couldn't watch it past the 10 minute mark.\n First of all, if the white guy had been the first to tell the manager that he was interested in the apartments, then of course that same manager is going to tell the 2nd person (asian guy) that the availability is limited. He already HAS a potential renter, why would he need more? The 1st guy already chose one of the apartments, so of course the Asian guy would have less options.\nSecondly, and I'm sorry to say this, but statistically there are more black shoplifting cases than with any other race. It's sad, but true. These retailers are just trying to protect their assets, and it's their right.\nThirdly, that lady was in the wrong, for one, because if a security person is asking to inspect your purse on THEIR retail grounds and you have nothing to hide, then why are you being uncooperative? That just makes you look worse.

As a retired Police Officer I pay attention to people who spend alot of time in certain isles without a shopping cart. And I think he was carrying a shopping bag. I'm black. I have seen white people walk through the grocery store eating chips, packaged danish and drinking soda, finish eating and leave the wrappings on a shelf, never thinking about paying. I saw a young black mother in CVS take toothpaste and drop it in the baby dag in the back of the baby carriage, without paying. If you work in a store they are told to watch out for shoplifters. I've seen video of white people joking they can go shoplifting anytime because the store employees or security are so busy watching black people. Unfortunately minorities are watched more. If I go in my handbage, or backpack I go into the main isle where everyone can see what I'm doing. They don't need to guess what I'm doing. That's just me.

Who hasn't been watched in a store? They will indeed watch you if you stay in one area too long, look around too long, have different types of bags, have your coats thrown over items in a basket, etc. Anyone can make themselves be watched just by their own behaviours. But I agree that landlords should be able to choose the tenants they want. They take great risks renting and it should be their right. I believe everyone racially profiles and they also profile white people against other whites, depending how they look. Even animals do that sometimes it appears.\n\nAnybody like the CBC, Oprah, or anyone who wants can make it appear that certain groups are biased against as well, but rarely will those people do surveys on store clerks who experience reverse discrimination very often themselves.

And of course, their people would naturally know who to vote for.\nIf you realised, the terrorist attacks are not as frequent as 2016/2017. Its part of their damage control phase.\nBut they will still continue to do what they are supposed to do, escalation of demands, coming together to get rid of people of threat to them, crying victimhood and playing the race card, until they have established sharia law in every nation. If you think sharia laws is only meant for them, you are so wrong. They can legitimately get rid of us simply by applying their laws. Its a very very very big Trojan horse. Every country that receives these immigrants experience the same set of problems, and it always end with them trying to establish sharia law. Ask yourself this, they all come from different countries, they all end up in different countries and yet they all say the same thing, at almost the same time? Its a worldwide movement. Lebanon also used to accept refugees. And they are applying the same proven formula this time.\n\nI had seen a video before about someone saying they started this worldwide plan somewhere around 1995, but i had forgotten which video it was already.\n\nAll non-islamic countries should come together secretly and derive a once and for all plan. I don't know what Sharia Law/ Islam is all about to hate it that much. We have Muslims in our country. At least around 20% of the population. Maybe more than Australia... but there are as many different interpretation of Islam and Sharia Law, as the Bible and Christian denominations. What you probably have is the Radical Extremist type.... The type that doesn't accept differences in culture and the population they are in. They are the minority who wants to have the majority rule... We also have problems with Radical Islam and majority of the Muslim population in my country does not accept them that much. There are certainly discrimination against Muslim, but not as much as most western countries does. My advise is to not to generalize Muslims as one type of people. There are people in that community that does not believe in extremist interpretation of the law. Second, deport or watch radical extremist as they are dangerous to any multicultural society, like the white supremacist and Neo- Nazis in the US. Some of them are citizens. Deporting your own citizen to a different country is far-fetched. Third, accept them as part of a sub- culture, having their own ways within their group, yet under the laws of the nation they are living. The way they dress, polygamy, and women's rights are just some issues that Westerners usually cringe about. But there are other religions who practice these as well. Lastly, stop hating each other because your hate will empower extremism. \nReligion is either you are born with it until you are old/ mature enough to choose or an independent choice.

It makes me angry when I see women wearing that on their faces. And if you watch this video, the woman not wearing it says her life is being threatened by muslims because she speaks out against wearing it. So that just proves these women don't have a choice and are being oppressed to wear it. Make it illegal.

I hope these idiots in this video who claim to be Muslims watch this and read these comments to know what they have achieved. Shame on them. What they are doing is just what thugs do and then they have the audacity to attach Islam's name with it. Go to Pakistan and implement it there or better yet go to Burma or Gaza and liberate the Muslims there. But you won't coz you're cowards. Here you do it coz it's probably one of the most tolerant countries in the world to all races and religions.
