Yes Disgusting Canadian Politics and Policies are forcing Canadians to move out.

Coast to coast it's the same story: Liberal govt let useless 'paper mill' schools (mostly run by Indian scammers) fill the country with these kids with BS sales promotion of a path to PR status (most don't need or care about becoming citizens lol). The Liberals are toying with granting them PR status, but they know this will likely cost them the election. These kids are creating housing capacity problems, creating overcrowding on transit and in healthcare. Local charities are slammed with extra mouths to feed, and grocery stores are experiencing a spike in shoplifting because these kids did not come with enough money to house and feed themselves. The student visa program has been abused by criminals of course, so there's a spike in gangster activity and even a political assassination in Surrey BC. It's a crap show and the solution is for 500,000 of them to head home ASAP. (Yes, this may create a temporary shortage of fast food workers and delivery people, but I'll take my chances.)

But still we have best Canadians who born here and they are well educated and polite . Soon as Im came here I’m noticed that those people are best in the world . I’m vote for them for the lovely people in the world . For that Im will stay in Canada .Yes it’s true that here is not available jobs , it’s true that the health care are making you do not come to the hospital , even once I’m nearly died they just send me home to die just because they didn’t have the empty bed . And the nurses weren’t nice . But I’m not angry about it, because I’m have seen how hard are they working.But for myself it’s important to see the kind Canadians ,and I’m will try to make the place better.

This is a worldwide phenomenon. Since the early 80's reactionary forces, the rich, the politically connected, became successful in fooling the middle class into voting themselves out of the middle class. It's too late now for the middle class to put progressives in power and expect real change. The reactionary forces are the real deep state that control the money and power. They are able to stop any action toward income equality that would build a new middle class by scaring and angering an easilty led electorate into voting against their own best interests. Yes, the future doesn't bode well for Canadians, Americans, French, Germans, Australians, Japanese, well you get the picture.

Politics aside, no country seems to be doing well… yes Biden and troudoieu (however you spell it) both suck, but even if we had different leaders, I think we’d be in a similar situation..

As a Canadian this video is only touching the tip of the iceberg. #1 Canada was built by immigrants (like my late grandparents) for immigrants, Immigrants regardless if they are here on a work or study permit are not the problem but the solution, always have been and always will be. Yes the part of the problem can be attributed to an inadequate affordable housing and yes the federal government does deserve blame for that. However as the 2nd largest nation in the world by land mass yet with a population less than California, we have a lot of underdeveloped areas from the Pacific to the Atlantic, and that is also the fault of the federal government regardless of political stripe. Regardless if people come to Canada to work or study, the federal government needs to make it more attractive to them to reside outside the BIG 3 cities of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver which have become overwhelmed with immigrants hence the strain on housing and healthcare

Right now is probably the worst time to come here. With global recession and post-pandemic hardship, everyone is feeling the pinch. Small businesses are closing down as they could not repay back the relief loans given by the government during the pandemic. Trudeau’s policy of immigration through the educational stream and admitting so many refugees from Syria and Ukraine have caused massive rent increase - too many people chasing after lower real estate supply. Because people are feeling the pinch, crimes are up and homelessness has become a serious issue. But, here are the (long-term) advantages of living here, vs. The Philippines:\n- free healthcare - no matter how rich you are back home, wealth can be depleted if a major illness strikes;\n- free education for your kids up to highschool and opportunity for your kids to enter worldclass universities after highschool;\n- government programs that actually work - Worker rights are upheld, doleouts when you lose your job, 12-month mat/paternity leave, doleout/govt match when you save for yr kid’s university educ, tax rebates for whatever you save for retirement, retirement income even if you never held a job, infrastructures are maintained, transparency and stability of political system; \n- safer environment - yes, greater crimes lately, but still one of the safest places to live. I live in greater Toronto, and sometimes we forget to lock our door at night or leave a bicycle outside and nothing happens;\n- commitment to the environment - the country adheres to protecting the envt. You can drink water from the faucet. Strict laws on recycling and waste disposal. Greenbelt protection on forest and conservation park areas, even in the cities. Canada also has the world’s biggest water supply...in today’s global climate change, were decades away from water wars;\n- a beautiful country with friendly, humble and relaxed people who observe work-life balance

Yes. Canada is not like what used to be as a good country to immigrate to in mid or late 1970s. Unfortunately, job opportunities, salary, wages have not kept us with high cost of living in cities like Toronto and Vancouver. Also, road infrastruture have not kept 12:12 up with population growth. People should do research, check out more before immigrating to Canada these days. If you are moving to Canada for peace and political stability, then yes. Otherwise, think twice! Also, the requirement for Canadian employers to ask for Canadian experience has existed since at least the 70s. But it is absurd and stupid for employers to ask job applicants for Canadian experience since the world is highly interconnected through internet these days. Provided you are working in western world or English speaking countries, job functions and management styles are basically very similar whether it is high tech industry, banking, investment companies etc.

I didn't like the traffic jams, air pollution, the political goondaas, the rapes and killings of innocent girls, the hypocrisy in the general public and leadership, the government red tape, the Prime Minister of a country coming to power on the basis of Digital economy and the entire population running each and every real estate transaction using black money. The Prime Minister of a country promising 100 developed cities and delivering just 10 cities with uncontrollable air pollution and traffic jams and failed infrastructure, the 1.5 billion people just act like mute spectators, yes I am proud I quit and chose Canada at age 46 from a country that can never come out of its slave mentality and hypocrisy in each and every deal. I am proud of bringing my family to Canada and giving a respectable life to my wife and my 2 daughters, and most importantly breathing pure Oxygen, a rare luxury in my home country...

I lived in Toronto during 2 different periods. 1988-1991 (Leaside and Yonge/Davisville) and then in early 2011 to late 2013 (east Scarborough and then Bayview/Sheppard). Yes, the city has changed dramatically. Even from my 2013 move from there. Grossly overbuilt. the hockey team should be called the Toronto Condo Leafs. Services strained. Poor funding. Poor political leadership. And I won't even touch the hot button issues. I noticed changes in 2012-3 and the start of polarization. Toronto has immense wealth and also immense poverty as we see now. Then again, big cities all over North America have the same issue.

I lived here since 1961. The biggest negative changes have occurred over the last 25 years. Yes a million condos bringing tons of new city tax revenue (wasted) but so unreasonably expensive, as so many new immigrants naturally flock to Toronto and need housing. Which\nmeans traffic sucks, too many downtown roads closed, unused bike lanes steal car travel lanes. Toronto is generally dirtier and meaner than in 60s, 70s, 80s, even 90s. People are less friendly, less polite, less caring, and reside in self contained cultural enclaves. I used to ride the subway daily till 1990s, but i was shocked by my recent ride, with delays, so overcrowded slow service and bummy looking passengers now, scary. Quite a negative unwelcoming transformation!?

I have family in Canada, and there are pros & cons of being there, and yes, weather & inflation are two important factors. There are Muslim communities in Canada, but it all depends where you’re at. I do understand the prevalent anti Muslim attitude/atmosphere, I live in the US and there are certain areas where I would not feel safe declaring my religion and having my wife & daughter wearing hijab, it’s sad, but we as Muslims in North America have to act as the pioneers and make our fellow Americans understand better our religion & our view points regarding the political & religious differences we have.

if one wants to be in an islamic religious country and hear bells ringing for call to prayer daily, yes its not going to match your lifestyle living in western countries of course. however there is no excuse for people to be scared to practice their religion freely. what is happening in Gaza i wish it wasn't happening at all no matter what political spectrum or thought one follows, i don't believe there should ever be wars and i wish the fighting on the ground would stop, wishful thinking and idealistic thinking i know.

Trudeau's push for mass migration is part of the problem, increasing housing demand. Torontonians tend to vote Liberal and NDP, and therein lies the problem. They keep funding NGOs that profit from homelessness and drug addiction, making these things worse. Also, look at who is being let in as citizens: very often people who will be a drain on the system, who increase crime and who are antisemites and potential terrorists (i.e. people from the Middle East and North Africa). Politically incorrect to say this, yes, but that doesn't make it less true.

Little off topic observation but its strange that you say you are an extreme introvert yet on video you seem super confident and outgoing. Whereas I would describe myself as the opposite, extremely social and extroverted yet too shy to film myself talking...I would stutter and be really uncomfortable.\n\nOn topic, yes we have become cold to outsiders and I think you are correct in that the climate of political correctness has essentially choked any kind of openness as we have been taught since multiculturalism was made state policy to never ask certain questions or we are racist so to er on the side of safety we just don't say anything to newcomers anymore. That would be for the young demographic of Canadians but for older Canadians it is more due to resentment and anger, the reasons you list for wanting to leave Canada have all been caused BY immigration into Canada at such high rates and so older Canadians whom never voted for these changes to our immigration policies and whose voices never get heard are mad, mad their parents were able to buy a home in Vancouver for $50k with a basic blue collar job 2 generations ago now the same house is $3 million dollars. Or that we can no longer communicate with our neighbours because non of them speak english well or that we are constantly being called racist either by implication or outright by our media, academia and government. Or that our parents were able to afford university with zero debt afterwards now you leave with $100k+ in debt and the classrooms are 80% foreigner. Our the hundreds of thousands of Canadians who have been pushed into living in tents because sky high immigration has made their home town unaffordable etc Their anger is misdirected I know that, but it is understandable and will get worse. The future for Canada now is probably breaking into small countries because diversity has no future.

I'm Canadian and cannot understand why ANYONE would EVER want to move to the US. Where you can be shot at anytime, where social injustice reins and racism rules. Where the country is heading for fascism. Give me peaceful, polite beautiful, free Canada (did I mention safe?) any day and I will happily pay more for groceries, YES there are some things that need changing, but that requires voters who actually want improvements.

I married my spouse and moved to the United States from Canada. Before, I didn't give the US much thought and merely loved travelling to a few of the locations. Having said that, even after spending five years there, I have never witnessed a country and a population as divided as the US. You proudly display your flag, yet you're so racist, illiterate, and a bible-thumper that it disgusts me. The United States is not the most free country in the world, despite what the public believes and thinks. In reality, it is also depressing to observe how the healthcare system handles people. The social safety net is completely missing, and by that I mean that most jobs don't pay for maternity leaves or vacations unless you work at a senior level or for a high-end company. The political system is so rigged that it is understandable why people are tired of voting every two years, and perhaps even every year. Most certainly, especially since your elections begin almost exactly when the previous one finished. I suppose I could go on forever, but I'll stop here. Although Canada is not perfect, is not free from controversy or problems, and is not the best at everything, we are able to concede defeat, acknowledge that someone was wrong or that we might have done better, work together with one another, and express that we are SORRY. Yes, it is a word that is never used in the US, and that is also the issue. I'm pleased to be back in Canada, where I belong, and I regret ever leaving. Yes, returning to Canada feels peaceful and inviting compared to travelling to the US, where every trip involves an interrogation to ensure that you don't remain too long. There is no need to worry because I won't be returning to stay, only visit, as previously.

I moved from small town British Columbia to Houston Texas about 32 years ago. Was very lucky to be able to live in several different states in those 32 years. In the beginning of 2023 I moved back up to Canada (temporarily) and I cannot wait to get back to United States. \n\nAlthough I love Canada, because it is my homeland, it is simply not anything close to what the United States is. While, both countries have their warts, the United States is, and always will be, simply better in measurable every way.\n\nWhen I hear somebody talk about the free healthcare in Canada, I remind them that there are no doctors available. I remind them how high their taxes are and how long of a wait there is to get any sort of operation. Yes, it’s more expensive than the United States, but for my dollar the care is better and I can get it quicker.\n\nDon’t even get me started about the economy up here, it’s ridiculous.\n\nCanadians are polite? I drive a car with US plates and I’ve been told to go back to where I came from more times than I can count. You might say I must be a jerk to have that got a response but I assure you. I’m like anyone else I have my moments, but overall I’m a pretty chill person.\n\nCan’t wait to get back.

You're a good guy, Tyler...and very brave to take on such a dicey subject as comparisons between Canada and The United States. We are two distinctly different cultures. Currently, America is more than frightening. The political system has really become a total mess. A two-party system (basically YES or NO) does not cater to the many grey areas of politics. The choice right now seems to be Fascist or Liberal. That's it! It was not like that during most of my professional life. Thanks to my job, I had a Green Card. But, I also could travel with little difficulty...especially in the South and Mid-West. Why? Well, because I had blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin. I never got used to states where everyone was walking around with a gun. It scared the hell out of me. As a commercial film director and writer, (unique services - hence the Green Card) I worked just about everywhere in the US. The North East is the most similar to Canada. But get down south, and people were literally walking around with holsters and revolvers on their hips. I never felt completely safe. But America is also a great country full of opportunities and if you are educated and a professional, the money is also great. All Canadians love their Healthcare and Social Safety Net. Generally, I think Canadians are more socially evolved and better educated. Your educational system is awful. And the Bible Belt States are anything but Christian. It's hate and fear-based. But the past 7 years have been the worst since the Trump Cult era began. Trump and his Mega Cult could destroy what was once a wonderful country.

Canadian (Albertan here) - yes, i don't think i'd move to the States unless it was reasonably close (maybe Montana) with fewer people - i'd like to identify as a Hermit :). I motorcycle and have travelled majority of the States, from coast to coast, and i really do like the country side and scenery, and history, that you run through. I do a 4000-6000 mile tripe every year or two - did Tennessee last year, and Colorado this summer. A lot of absolutely amazing country really, and yes some really great people as well. Have run into some real odd people as well and some places i wanted to get out of pretty quick. I do like the fact the US hasn't bought into this woke agenda and politically correctness - it's absolutely nuts up here. I like the gun laws in the States, too bad we're so screwed over that in Canada. Gotta love Trump - may be a bit of a bozo but hey - the guy lays it out and owns his shit, every other polititician plays the blame game and does everything politically correct... End of day, i'd prefer to stay in Canada, either Alberta or British Columbia.

Hi Tyler, born and raised Cdn here. I have American relatives and ancestors. I spent a lot of time going to the States to visit them when I was young and US felt like our big brother back then. Nice, clean, safe, fun and just big. Heck, when I was 15 I even took the Greyhound bus from Toronto to San Francisco. I've been back a few times but last was in 2015. Lkg to come back maybe this Christmas. I know media is biased but to give you some explanation, we don't have guns up here to the extent you guys do. Of course we have crime and sick things do happen up here but, we don't have to fear that every single person we come in to contact w is packin a gun. And the news intensifies our fear of that one aspect of your country's culture. And yes, the amount of mass shootings at schools terrifies us. I am sad to also see the political extremism in the US now. I miss the US of my childhood and certainly do agree, small town rural people are salt of the earth there. I even found New Yorkers nicer than Torontonians.

When I travelled there to check on my husband’s rental properties (yes, he is a Canadian who owns properties in the U.S.) I was always surprised at our employees, tenants, who treated us as second class citizens, as “CrazyCanucks”, and mostly, incredulous that we could actually legally own American companies….and yes, we paid all taxes due. \nThe U.S. is a beautiful country but, unfortunately, all too often, there is a superiority attitude that permeates every exchange…a we (Americans), vs them (Canadians) approach. As with many other Canadians we knew who had businesses in the U.S., our experience as Canadians doing business in the U.S., was also theirs. \nI will end by acknowledging that I know many beautiful & amazing Americans that I have come to love and immensely respect. I also have Canadian relatives who live in the U.S. and have dual citizenship. I respect them, therefore respect their decision to make the U.S. their home. \nLast but not least, the U.S. rarely acknowledge us, Canadians, as their neighbour, their political ally and they always mention other countries as allies but very rarely acknowledge Canada as an important one. \nI LOVE Canada and all that it stands for. ❤️??❤️ I will always stay in Canada.

Children getting shot is not a “touchy subject.” It’s an insane problem. And yes, there are children shot daily! Dude, there is no where on the planet where there are children and humans shot on anywhere CLOSE to the scale that it happens in the US.\n\nAnyway, move to the States? Not on your life! Diversity and minorities acceptance is relatively better in Canada. As an immigrant, the US would have been a big yes had it been thr 1990s but sadly, the perception to US changed drastically after then and would not want to live in the US even if given a job offer in Boston ( a beautiful city i fell in love with). Just because of what is happening on the political scene. If I need to leave Canada, it would be for Europe where work/life balance, public transit and culture of enjoying life prevails. American corporate culture is depressing.

For all the amazing things the US has to offer, right now we don't even want to visit there, let alone move there. We've talked about it a lot, but nope. In Canada, generally speaking (although there are exceptions to every rule) we have no idea what political leaning our neighbors favor. Political campaigns last no more than 51 days; they do not start the day after the last election and go on for years. This way, elected officials actually do some work instead of campaigning. Right now, the politics in the US, as well as the judiciary, are literally insane. Gun violence in the US is insane, as is the attitude towards guns. It shouldn't take a shooting that affects you personally to make you care about it, and it's not just at schools. The US has had 28 mass killings, with 140 victims, in 6 months... but the problem is that no one down there cares about that enough to stop it, or even discuss ways to stop it. The politics is so sold out to corporations that what is good for the people just doesn't matter. It is capitalism run amok. Environmental protections? They are an inconvenience, and most of them were rolled back a few years ago under the presidency of He Who Must Not Be Named. So politics, elections, shootings... but wait. There's more. I have a wonderful friend in the US who has amazing health care, and yet when he got cancer, he was screwed. We do pay a health care premium up here, but it is a drop in the bucket compared to what people in the US pay for private insurance. Yes, you have the best hospitals in the world, but it doesn't matter if you can't afford to walk in the door. Now dump the intolerance -- racism, homophobia, religious zealots, misogyny (yes, I am talking women's rights, equal pay, access to health care, etc) -- throw in the crazies with guns, and now ask the question again. I absolutely know that Canada is not perfect, and that the tolerances and attitudes towards all these subjects differs from region to region, but overall we are a country that tries to respect the rights and needs of others, that has empathy for others, that wants to help others, and that is a pretty firm foundation to make us want to stay here. (please don't interpret this as all Americans and all areas of the US have no respect etc... but the predominant issues of health care, politics, religion, corporate greed, and violence, now all supported by a bat-crap crazy SCOTUS, sadly spills and taints it all. I know there are amazing, generous, kind people all over the US, but I don't know where the crazies are or where they might pop up).

As Canadian I moved to US and ave been here several decades, wouldn't move back if you paid me, yes things aren't perfect in US but I'd rather have this than what goes on in Canada. I follow Canadian politics pretty closely and the Dictator gives me the creeps.

First of all, the United States is a country of misfortune for me, I'm sorry if it sounds abrupt, but how I see it!\n\nHonestly I think that for the reputation of the country and their people, it will never change if the question of weapons is not settled! (Yes again the weapons) Because that's what comes back the most how many people there are in the cemeteries who didn't ask for anything and who died by a bullet lost by the mass killings in the schools or by psychologically crazy speaking who should have ever had a gun in their hands! Whenever the question is asked it is always the reason for patriotism or the constitutional right to bear arms!\n\nThere is absolutely nothing normal and natural about going to Walmart and walking out with a rifle or a semi-automatic weapon without more regulations or investigation of the person who wants to buy the weapon in question. Never in the life does it exist in Quebec or even in any similar place in Canada! I have a lot of American friends and some friends live close to the shootings, I feel that Americans are desensitized to the violence. The USA has some pretty sceneries but health care, politics, social welfare, and racism/discrimination are very much more pronounced. I remember visiting Texas and many people carry guns, that scares me because I don't know what their mental health state would be, and if I make a slight mistake and said sorry, would that person shoot me if their mental health state is not that stable? Yes, American gun laws need to be revamped big time for sure.

Maybe Canadians are more concerned about gun violence than Tyler feels they need to be, BUT HERE IS WHY! \n\nAccording to USA today and Forbes magazine there have been more than 300 mass shootings so far this year and 200 people were shot on the 4th of July alone. These articles are dated July, 2023. A mass shooting was defined as 4 or more people killed or injured. There is a bbc article from May 2023 that states 48,830 people died of gun violence in 2021 in the US; that’s the population of a small city in Canada. Half those deaths were suicides, which occur because the guns are available. All of these articles mention the shear number of guns in the US, more guns than people, 120 guns per 100 people. So yes, I think Tyler is exhibiting his American bias and has become desensitized. His statements that it’s only in some places and to choose carefully where you live because violence isn’t every where are not borne out by the stats. These shootings happen in all corners of the country and every time they do people are shocked that it could happen in their safe little town. Think back to Columbine, Sandy Hook, Parkland, Uvalde these were not violent communities yet their schools were targeted. \n\nThe gun culture is high on the list of reasons I wouldn’t move to the US but do is politics, women’s rights, anti 2SLGBTQ legislation, health care, environmental protection laws ( or lack there of), lack of social programs, etc. Canada certainly isn’t perfect but I’ll take it warts and all over a US option. Don’t get me wrong I love to visit the US but living there is a whole different ball of wax. Thanks but no.

Yes it is a beautiful country with lots of really nice people and friends and i have visited quite a bit but the pluses are far less than the negatives. You forgot 1 major point-\nAt least here in Canada, we don't have to live in fear of gun violence. We don't send our children only for them to be massacred in their schools. At least our politics doesn't revolve around Jesus, guns and abortion (though our politicians are also crap). At least we don't have to break bad to pay for even simple medical procedures. At least our cities aren't overrun by homeless while our rural areas are not overrun by hillybillies. \n\nWhile yes in general Americans are richer, the fact is that only the top 10 percent live better. Not the homeless piling up in the cities, not the 3rd world shanties in the Appalachians and south and certainly not the thousands living in the American jail system. Let me tell you, Americans live the worst life out of all. In much poorer Spain, people still have universal education till university, good healthcare, good public transportation system and they don't have to eat the frozen crap most Americans eat. Spanish people eat fresh meat, fruits, cheese and vegetables and drink some of the best wine, despite earning much less than Americans and working astonishingly low hours. Some good points were touched on. We need solutions! What does this mean?\n\n- We need some immigration discipline. Yes, it's great to let immigration in, especially ones that pay taxes, but it's overburdening both the rental/housing demand (which needs opposing pressure to lower prices) as well as healthcare demand, which is not being properly addressed. Instead our healthcare system is flooded. And it's inefficient and expensive as is already. We just need to tame the number of people we allow in, and grow our ability to self-sustain first.\n- It's too late now, but government policies to give out money during COVID was poorly executed, yet plentiful. When 40% of currency was printed in the last year/two, no doubt we will have inflation. This was never touched upon in the video. Resources/social supports should have been provided rather than just straight up $$$. There was an excess of money given to places they shouldn't have been. We saw a boom in industries like say hobbies and games, showing additional money being wasted where it should have been used for food and shelter. \n- Canadian government is not trying to be as aggressive to retain Canadian companies. We are heavily dependent on US corporations and hence the brain drain as well. Salaries do not compare, especially when remote work is now possible. \n\nWe are already deep in the hole and need to be more financially responsible. I'd strongly disagree with the last statement in this video that we are perceived as corrupt (there's been lots of civil unrest because of government misspending). We are civil and polite, but that's not what helps economies grow, as OCED forecasts as well.

A man came to my job looking for work. Unfortunately we where not hiring. I asked him politely are you legal to work here because I know some people that are hiring. Yes and if these people truly believed in God and Jesus they wouldn't run from their countries but actually stay on the ground and stand strong in their faith that God and Jesus are going to help them persevere through all this. As a fully disabled American citizen with a child that doesn't even get $1,000 a month and there's no available housing at all where I live no waiting list to go on people on SSI disability don't get any extra housing help we're not offered separate housing are put on separate lists and low-income Able Body people or the migrants jumping the Border but I was born and raised here paid taxes and worked until my body literally couldn't anymore but I don't hear anybody bitching and screaming and crying about the fact that my son and I would be on the streets if it hadn't been for one of my family members stepping up and giving his housing after a lifetime restraining order issued during my pregnancy on my son's biological do do with domestic abuse situation. I'm also US citizen that spent time in the Wards in Houston and projects and other cities and if you don't think that we don't have the same gun violence drug trafficking human trafficking gangs take it over cartels taking over neighborhoods and communities than you're freaking lying to yourself and everybody else. Remember God is a father that's how he's been represented and talked about in the Bible and Jesus was a man without a doubt no biological transgender question ability there. People need to remember that part of being a fair and loving. Is also teaching and discipline and these children following rules. I don't believe hearing God and Jesus telling all these people run from your countries and not have faith that I'm actually going to fix things for you and go run to somebody else actually go run to the United States where all those stuff is traveling through. Don't you get it the politicians don't want people knowing that a lot of the people that are homeless on the street are people that are disabled and aren't disabled because they have mental health problems I know that's the narrative they've been trying to stuff down people's throats.

This whole situation is untenable. It is devastating to the migrants that have to leave their homes and try to enter either the United States or Canada to apply for asylum. No amount of border protections or treaties or walls will solve the problem. And that problem is the political, economic, and social conditions in their countries of origin. In my opinion, Canada and the United States (more so the United States) need to step up to see if there’s any way to help politically and economically stabilize those so people would not need to leave their homes in search of a better life. Yes, it would cost money… But there would be definite dividends in the future as we would no longer have to invest as much money on our borders. I very much realize not only the complexity of the problems in Latin American countries, but also the complexity of what I am suggesting. But everything we have done so far has been useless, so we need to change our thinking.

Also agree with warm southern hospitality in the US, lived in TN, SC, GA and the people were so warm. \nThe thing about Canadian politics being boring might not be such a bad thing LOL.
