Stupid politician's statement that USA and Europe should allow Indians to live there without a visa is quite unrealistic. Here in California I have met many wonderful Indian nationals; however, many assist and support the concept of illegally immigrating to the US. One woman I know, from Delhi, married one guy then divorced him, and then within a year married and divorced another man. the main concept of any foreign govt giving permanent residency is whether you fulfil the need for them, so this is good for people who have some skills and can positively contribute but anyone who just wants to go for the sake of going there is not going to get anything , they better study and then return .. this is nothing different from UK, its very hard to get Tier 2 visa in UK unless your job is in shortage or in the occupation list but the difference is that Canada has been very lenient in the past allowing people clearing just 10 years of schooling also getting student visas, this has not happened in UK as people come to study bachelor's or master when they have completed full 12+ years of schooling in their home country.. may be it was needed then in Canada but now its not the same case..so if govt is taking this step its first in the interest of the local people including the ones who have gained citizenship with proper procedure..

I thought the whole concept of Canadian immigration is to seek new settlements in other provinces that are lacking population. I wonder if the government are doing that to put immigrants in those provinces and to build a strong Canadian society, with a strong-hold economically throughout the country. But that includes having the immigrants agreeing to setup bases in rural areas that needs a build-up. It's literally a settlers 2.0. But I see that as an escape from another place that has nothing. No is pressured to doing anything, it's just being transparent in what will happen. And in another way, the citizens of Canada will see it as giving into the country.

I have a question about the West imposing their style of democracy on Africa and the Middle East. Many of the so called dictators that were deposed by the US and allies, were in countries with functioning autocracies, governed by religious ideologies and culture that were centuries old and deeply embedded in the fabric of those societies. All that has happened is the creation of a power vacuum, quickly filled with religious zealots and extremists. Western styled democracy may well have diluted the cultural norms and religious dictates that kept those societies organised and functional. By introducing and forcing Western concepts and liberal ideologies onto those countries, they have succeeded in dividing once proud nations, scattering them all over the planet and diluting their identity. Immigrants come from ALL countries. So it's not one group over another. This isn't about race. I know, very hard for the Left to grasp that concept. It's about integration. About our own Canadian culture. Our own Canadian values. Brampton Ontario, Surrey BC, Richmond Hill BC, Markham Ontario and so on. When new immigrants are told they don't have to integrate into Canadian culture, learn our languages English or French, share our Canadian values, or wave our Canadian flag. But instead, they are allowed to build their own mini countries within our Canadian borders, then Canadians are slowly losing Canada. One city at a time.

Did a little bit of research on this just last week. \nThe mayor, needs to step up, something fierce. \nThis is nonsense. It cannot be sustained. Our citizens will leave, and the new people coming, will turn America. \nWhere is his head at? \nSpeaking for me, they already destroyed the dryers where I do my clothes. I cannot afford people living here who choose to be ignorant. \nThey have no concept of community and don't wish to apparently. I could go further, I am choosing to keep my mouth shut. \n\nWhatever religion they have, I'd like to file a complaint with their god.
