From the USA: Why is it right for Canada to tariff us more than we tariff them? Trump pointed out that there was a 200 billion a year tariff deficit for the USA. Some say that number is inflated and the real number is somewhere around the 70 billion mark in Canada's favor. No one disagrees that the US has a huge tariff deficit with Canada. So, the USA is just leveling the playing field. It's time to truly have level trade with the rest of the world, not just Canada. No more free lunch from the US to the world. We want free and fair trade, but for that to happen we must tariff other countries goods at exactly the same level they tariff our goods.

The latest would be Trump's tariffs starting today, March 4, 2025. Trudeau always disappears during a crisis, leaving us to fend for ourselves - (1) COVID, he was at the cottage using every excuse not to be accountable for anything or using unconstitutional powers to crush a protest he didn't know how to handle, (2) Chinese spies, he's ignoring our intelligence service, (3) federal worker strike, he's in NYC at some gala.... I could go on but there's a reason we're hurting so bad.\n\nWe have zero federal leadership, and a federal government that makes things worse for us with things like: over-regulation, subsidizing media to keep us misinformed, nerfing select natural resource sectors but favoring others (oil and gas suffer, while coal is fine... probably because we sell it to China, but I digress), letting criminal out of jail, uncontrolled immigration, passing policies like the FHSA that drive home prices higher and higher, and of course, more and more taxes. I could go on about the billions in taxpayers' money the government blows - it's like a black hole - or the fact that MPs keep getting raises - April 1 is their fifth since COVID - and most federal and government employees are all getting raises at a time when the rest of us are learning to get by with less and less because we're taxed so much and housing, groceries, etc. are so unaffordable.\n\nI have applied for US citizenship. I am a white Canadian have family and friends in the USA and I tried to move to the usa back in the early 2000's because I had a job could not do it because I was not allowed but it seems if you are other then white it is so much easier and everyone said I should go now because Trudeau is a dictator and that I am a law abiding Conservative that wants to leave Canada because our PM is nothing but a POS Liberal that is robbing the hard working real Canadians and cutting us off of having a good job because of DEI. I'm from Canada, and unfortunately, our liberal government is letting this happen. Believe me when I say the rest of Canada feels that way. We have no way of sharing our beliefs because this liberal government has shut our media down as well. Canada has been under socialism for a while now.

I am Québécois, and things here are quite different from the rest of Canada. For example, we have a law here that clearly forbids wearing religious signs when in a position of authority. Even a teacher, because they are a figure of authority for their students, could not wear the Roman collar, a cassock, a hijab, a niqab or anything else of the sort while in school. In the streets or any other public place, there is no problem at all. Everyone is welcomed to express their difference of culture or religion in the way they dress or in whatever other way. They are treated with the same respect and kindness as anywhere else in Canada. It is only that the separation of religion and state, and religion and authority is paramount here. Everybody is free and can express themsleves freely. But don't use that freedom to impose your views onto others. \nSo, when American judges are chosen for the federal court specifically because of their christian fundamentalist biases, it doesn't resonate well at all for me or the majority of Québécois. When the rights of the LGBTQ+ community are being questioned or jeopardised. Or a previous federal judgement like Roe v Wade is being overturned for religious reasons... it is a definite turn off for all of the Québec people to even remotely consider the United States as a destination to emigrate to (supposing that one would want to leave our beautiful country).\nMore and more, America, that used to be recognized as the land of the free, appears to be retrograde and restrictive and definitely not so free.

But you have to understand again in your Canada water video. Canada has a lot less population. That being taxes are higher in Canada but more land for your dollar. Less GDP do to a smaller number of people which also becomes a factor of Canada not making the 2% GDP to NATO. There's alot of factors on why Canada does what it does. It's not that we don't want to keep up with the rest of the world. It's that it's very hard to with such a small population.

Millionaires and billionaires and the politicians they’ve bought have spent the last 50 years fighting to destroy wages, unions, educational system, acces to healthcare and fought to avoid taxes for themselves leaving ordinary Americans with the bill. What we in the rest of the western world see as basic rights and essential services is in America seen as “communism” \n\nThe consequences of this is that Americans are suffering and causing a huge demand for drugs both prescription and illegal drugs.\n\nTariffing Mexico and Canada makes no f sense when the peoblem is America and Americans. For many years USA and Mexico have worked together to combat drugs and cartels, there is no need to put tariffs on them.\n\nDrugs will continue to enter USA as long as there is a demand for it, including Musk and Trump jr. The only ones who can fix this is America itself.

Trump should really look hard into the last time the US went to war with CANADA it really didn't end well for US. We are really only nice when treated with respect as we treat others. We, Indians, put ourselves down.\n\nThey are;\n1) Out of 100 Indiands traveled abroad either for tourism or business, only 50 returns home, and the rest try to find jobs to live there.\n\n2) Many Indians forge documents or produce fake documents to get visas.\n\n3) Where the Indians go, they bring pan and pan parag items and spit sll over the place, especially the North Indians. South Indians are much better.\n\n4) We, Indians, can go any lower to get a job abroad at low pay. So, we put our own grades down.\n\nThere are numerous examples I know of. Let me cite a few below.\n\n1) In one of the Western countries, a few years ago, a real Punjabi brother and sister who staged fake a marriage, got a marriage certificate, and other documents only to migrate there. The government eventually found put and deported them.\n\n2) Canada deported a few hundred Gujarati students when the US border security found them not speaking in English. On investigation, it was found that they all came with fake IELTS certificate.\n\nThere are many incidents we get to witness the day after the day. So, we can't blame other countries. It's us who made us very cheap in the international market. Because of those Indians, the entire innocent, honest, and talented Indians community is affected.

We were military so lived right across Canada, and I can tell you the worst province in Canada is Saskatchewan. I don't have enough thumbs to turn down. The people are Very unfriendly. Think there better than everyone else, and if you need compassion from the police you won't find it there. I was with a group of military wives once and we all had to say the best and worst posting we ever had. Everyone said Saskatchewan was the worst. Nova Scotia and B. C the best. . The rest of the country is great. The Maritime provinces are the friendliest. Retired widow now and live in a small town Ontario. It's very nice here.

Indians have changed the lifestyle on the ground in canada. They feel relaxed and as if canada their country. They speak urdu everywhere and just help each other and they bought half of canada. Why we dont bring muslims they are way better and they adapt to canada. Indians will never adapt and have changed the canadian culture thats why we are running. They just work and talk about money no life and have made rest of population depressed with their smell and attitude. Get them out now. Get arabs and latinos and free palestine.

Canadians are the MOST chill and accepting welcoming peaceful ppl known Worldwide for it throughout history! BUT!!!! We aren’t THAT polite when ppl come here from other countries and feel entitled to take full advantage of us for THEIR benefits with ZERO care or concern for the ppl who worked and paid into a system they’re now taking from without contributing a damn thing to it themselves!!! This isn’t EVERYONES right to have just because they demand it!!! Canada owes the rest of the world NOTHING!!!!
