CNN is not a trusted news source, I have not heard one citizen of Canada speak highly of Trudeau, You are not in a trade war with the US you are throwing a tantrum and will loose

I wish Democratic leaders in America would speak to the public like this -- explain what Trump is doing and why it's harmful to America. Democrats keep saying they're not in power, but why don't they use the power of the microphone every single day. This was a powerful statement by Trudeau.

Why is it that CNN insists on cutting the audio off while Trudeau is speaking? We would like to hear the questions he is asked and his responses, not the opinions of their staff. They can easily share their opinions afterwards, when we can easily switch channels.

Kudos to the PM Trudeau for speaking out against Trump tariffs. Mr. Trudeau sees what the Trump voters fail to see prior to the elections. Trump is using the excuse of stopping drugs coming into the country. When in reality his tariffs will only benefit corporations. These tariffs will be passed down to the consumers who will pay for them. If everyone who voted for Trump weren't deaf and blind we would not have to now worry more about inflation and higher prices. All those who blamed Biden for increased prices should have looked back at the pandemic that Trump failed to acknowledge.

I'm an American with some family ties to Canada and I'm deeply ashamed of how my government under Trump is systematically destroying it's historic relationships with almost all our allies. Trump and his cronies are only interested in the use of raw power to dominate the current geo-political reality. Trudeau can speak very eloquently and not get any results. The housing situation is a very big crisis and he almost resigned from the party and green energy regulations are not helping. At the very least Tarrifs will help Canada become stronger and tougher and self-reliant.

I will miss my Prime Minister Trudeau. He speaks for me, and I know, many others . . . .we aren't interested in buying American goods. We aren't interested in visiting the states. We are focused, at this point, on our own economy. In the last month I have discovered a few gems, produced by local businesses within 100 miles of where I live. Healthier for my family, healthier for my economy. More expensive, yah, a little. But in the long run, it will make us a stronger economy, a stronger nation.

I get all the commentary lifting Trudeau up but when i heard that he is like on his last couple of days of his term i couldn't help but feel that noone so far anyways has come out and let lose with the hard hitting, proper Grammer and clean nice language be dammed, no not anyone to speak to this wannabe hard guy which this guy absolutely is not - trust me , and i get it he is 80 years old, but if you watch him in his 60s and 50's and going back to his youth he never could bust a grape; just all bluster , daddy's money, and when it came time to pay some rent .. he'd pay someone else to do it. I'm somewhat confused though. Canadians have been suffering under high prices for years now and Trudeau never did anything to combat this. Now we want to speak up against the tariffs which is an additional price burden on top of existing outrageous costs. If we solve for tariffs, whats the plan to solve for the ridiculously high living costs.
