Yeah as a Canadian who lives in the Greater Toronto Area, I can appreciate how immigration as a concept is good. But Canada is at a point now where a large influx of immigrants are shocking our economy and dropping our quality of life. And the majority of these immigrants come from one country. No hate to India, as a half Indian myself, but when you bring these people over in droves, they feel it unnecessary to assimilate as they all coalesce with each other - where they feel comfortable. So you have the majority of them who don't speak our language, who don't carry our values, and don't feel that any of it is required. And it makes you feel, as a Canadian like you're being taken over. We want a lower immigration rate, and we want a greater spread of people from across the world. I don't want Canada to become India.

White peole think they are too good to work at timhortons. Literally brown ones are the inky ones who want to work there. And on top of that they’ll be working two jobs at a time. Keep the people who work and pay taxes get rid of all those who don’t (homeless drug addicts)

Mortgage fraud has also increased DRASTICALLY since the influx of new immigrants coming to Canada within the last 10 years. And who is doing the fraud? 95% of the fraud cases are new immigrants from India. There are many good people that come from india, but there are FAR more than don't assimilate, have no interest in ever assimilating, and they abuse our social systems, stealing from every Canadian as well as cause our quality of life to drastically drop. Our healthcare systems are beyond overloaded and bursting at the seams, our housing prices have skyrocketed, our house and auto insurance rates have also gone through the roof. And speaking of going through the roof, numerous houses were lit on fire late last year from new immigrants irresponsibly lighting off MASSIVE amounts of fireworks during Diwali, then you have the crowds of Indian families going to our previously pristine beaches and digging pits, which they then proceeded to use as their bathroom. People were actually selling "Beach $hitter" t-shirts because the problem was getting so common. Immigration is ok, but the amount of people the Canadian government has allowed into Canada, ALL from totally different cultural origins, in such a short amount of time was never, and will never be sustainable. In my opinion, Canada needs to full stop close its borders to anyone immigrating for at minimum 5-10 years, to allow the countries infostructure time to catch up with the masses of people who have already come into the country. But that will never happen with the liberals at the helm, they would literally get rid of the whole concept of a "border" if they could. Elbows up ya dorks!

Because the liberals allow it. Corporations love the influx of cheap disposable labor. Best part is that so many people have this idea that voting liberal is voting for The Good Guys. Feels so good to virtue signal and then complain how you struggle to feed your kids while corporations have been making record profits year after year.

Major reason for so much immigration of Indians is because here in india to get a well paying job and a well settled life you need to be educated and skilled. Whereas in countrys such as canada it is more easy to have a good living with less efforts and less education. Therefore they prefer moving out of country than working hard in there own country. And in the case of Brampton they saw an opportunity and demand for businesses and workforce so they grabbed there opportunity. Because at that time there was not much going on in Brampton when indians started immigrating . So you can say indians are the reason Brampton has grown gradually. But i do think now it is too crowded and people haven't stopped coming. Now there are no requirements as such. So that is why more useless indians are moving in canada nowadays.

Indians are generally good people some might have issues but hey no one ain't perfect. Now the issue is I prefer migrants to assimilate e.g. I am a japanese migrant in canada so I decided to do things to be canadian speak English, Go skiing and live like everyone else Not building my own japan town or whatever. Also the second issue is Mass migration because these people once they come they start promoting it back home so more people come so it pretty much a point of no return. Also using the canada for a stop over for usa is very weird reason but don't do that that just sets a bad example to your people

I’m Punjabi, Indian and my parents came in the 1970s assimilated, and became hard working people and earned a name and reputation! The Indians coming in now are degenerates, entitied to PR and the they don’t act like students they want to drive around in jeep wranglers and chargers in plazas and fight with one another like morons! They have brought the Sikh people name down. Sadly there’s two parts, the good Indians are taken advantage of and their employers take advantage and they have to live in rental properties with tons of people living at once but in the end there’s a lot to uncover!

as a child of immigrants from south east asia that was born and raised in brampton i have to say these indians have ruined this city, and i do feel bad for the good ones that came here because they were scammed by thier own kind and promised a bunch of lies, n then getting scammed once again when they r here by thier kind. really shows u what kind of people they are.

Here is a aggressively neutral take as a Canadian elementary school teacher in an area with an extremely high Indian population (around half our school is ethnically Indian). It is also my own opinion, and some opinions on the internet suck: The good: Cultural integration IS possible (the Indian families are more into hockey than the white families where I live), tons of cross-cultural friendships, beautiful blend of cultural celebrations, top achievers are almost always second-generation immigrants, kids are growing up to love their parents' culture while also loving Canada's, many fantastic families who engage their children well and raise them very respectfully, religious temples that will feed an amazing meal to ANYBODY who walks into them (as long as you cover your hair), low rates of family trauma (drugs, abuse, divorce, etc.), families that take care of their elders The rough: Not all families are interested in being Canadian (some families just send their kids to Indian speaking private schools, live in Indian areas, and only seem to practice Indian ways of life - what's even the point?), many Indian families retreated into their home-lives during Covid which removed their children from integration opportunities, a very small percentage of the families are absolutely TERRIBLE at parenting and treat their sons and daughters with different levels of respect, multi-family households pay a single property tax which makes the contribution per taxpayer much smaller (while social benefits are equal to anybody else), some crime such as extortion and gang activity has been imported into the country, some individuals' disregard for rules and laws (setting fireworks on Diwali in the middle of a dry, grassy field is just plain stupid), some Indian communities seem to vote blindly for their own ilk during local elections without any regard for policy or experience, LMIA immigration program has been corrupted by the nepotism of bad actors and the greed of large corporations (wages can be federally subsidized which makes it cheaper to hire immigrants than the 16 year old down the street). Many of these families were simply making good choices for their own family, so don't blame the people themselves for this - blame the government that allowed it to fester unsustainably. I'll continue to stick up for the majority of these beautiful families though - haters be darned! Watching these kids grow up gives me some hope for humanity!

What invasion? We all came here legally with passports and valid visas. WE work jobs, help our community, isnt that canadian enough? The temples and gurudwaras of Brapmton literally offer free food and drinks to anyone and everyone, regardless of their race, sexuality, gender. It’s good to hear some are thinking of leaving to the US. I truly wish for their success. I worked at a college that became a diploma mill in Vancouver and you couldn’t go to the men’s room without seeing 3 or 4 dudes hanging out. Foreign students also take from the food banks enough to have 1st year students now banned and many people no longer donate. I generally have great experiences Indian people, and have travelled India extensively, but if you let in too many of one type the native population will have a hard time and the immigrants themselves won’t integrate and build their own society. Hey! Im a sikh that was born in canada, with my parents, grand father, great grand father also being in this beutiful country. I wanted to start of by saying a couple of things. My home was in brampton for a long time and I have personally seen the safety gone down, my family used to come back from trips with our garage open and everything would be completely fine. The long term sikhs and indians came and actually contributing positively and that can be seen with how good canada was pre 2020. Immigration too an extent was good, but mass immigration was never a good idea. In 2018-2019 the old time punjabi community was heavily against so many students coming in, so much so people that were indian had "no students" signs when renting their basements. It's sad to see people that came here running things so badly and ruining the effort and contributions made by many(I even face the consqeunces of things I have never done). Remeber don't be afraid to call out people for their bullshit, but also dont bash innocent people. Now many ppl came to canada and have done good like sikhs having the highest donors of blood, plasma, and platelets. We also giveway a lot in charity and food. A good news is Canada is cracking down on these bad people and quickly, and many good people who came are returning back home. I have seen a lot of videos online, but please remember algorithms and pushed media make things seem worse than they actually are. My message is I'm sorry for how these people are acting, my recent trip to Canada(brampton) I saw better quality service and more white folk too. Stay safe and god bless!

The last generation of Sikhs were good. Worked hard. Assimilated into the Canadian culture. The new ones were a bum rush by Trudeau to keep the GDP numbers up while he robbed the country. I have Sikh friends who feel the same way. They feel like the new “students” and business subsidy abusers are ruining everything the old immigrants built. I live in Brampton. And all I can say is thanks for visiting and spreading the word on this problem. I was born in Brampton, and my mother tells me about how much it's changed. Many of my friends and family friends have moved to other neighborhoods POST mosques being put up near their homes. And let's not talk about employment and foreign "students". I was lucky to get a job last summer at a family owned small business Ice Cream store right after high school. We even got a review saying we weren't diverse enough despite us being a group of White, East Asian and Black employees lol. And many people say if your not Indian and your getting your drivers test, you go out of Brampton to do the test because you'll likely get discriminated by who is running the test. It's absolutely absurd. It sounds like tin foil hat sh*t, but if you live here like me everything comes full circle. But ofc there are good ones, but they are typically the westernized ones, who have assimilated, they play or watch hockey and have developed a Canadian accent. But the majority haven't assimilated, they are likely first generation, and they do things like stuff 15+ people in one suburban home. And just small things like staring at you in public (idk why their community stares you down), they spit on sidewalks, and they use some crazy a$$ spices when they cook. The smell carries over for blocks and you know your in deep Brampton territory when your driving and that smell of spicy curry hits you and you gotta roll up them windows lol. It's a nasty smell. This mass migration is a huge issue and needs awareness.

The thing is, when you bring up people who faced discrimination and serious problems in their home countries—like not having access to a decent standard of living, proper culture, or good education—it makes everything so much harder for them when they arrive in a new country too.I also want to talk about jobs in Canada, bruh. All the industries seem dominated by specific ethnic groups that have basically taken them over. For example, in construction, you mostly see Spanish or Portuguese crews who only speak their own language on the job. And Indians—they've pretty much taken over all the Walmarts and fast-food chains in Canada.They should've kept Canada truly multicultural instead of letting it turn into this. 7:27 I read that article fully and it also said: “While nearly half of those surveyed said they felt quality of life in Canada’s fastest-growing big city had decreased in the past three years, 79 per cent of residents rated quality of life in Brampton as good or very good.” So the quality of life decrease is minimal and the article cites public safety, crime, and affordability of housing as concerns, but doesn’t specify Indian immigration as being the reason nor the racist implications that Tyler is trying to get at.. This is a classic correlation doesn’t mean causation example. If you read further into that article, people generally say that the quality of life is overall better compared to their survey in 2019. Straight up, Tyler here is cherry-picking data as a means of pushing the right wing narrative that Indians are bad and fueling hatred for them when the real reason is lack of better reform or change from the Canadian govt and Canadas corporations. Not that different from the US tbh.

In Canada, we imported almost 10% of our population is the last five years, the majority of whom came from India. There's no doubt that Indian culture is not the same as Canadian culture, and importing such a massive number so quickly means we are far more likely to see those cultures bumping up against each other, rather than giving them a chance to assimilate and blend. Like any good cook, I know if you try to add the eggs too quickly and in too much of a hurry, you get scrambled eggs in weak sauce, not a thick creamy custard. Same principle applies to immigration. We need to give people the time and chance to learn and absorb our culture and values, else we end up with ghettos and a weakened society.

No offence to the amazing Indian people, as a Canadian I find the majority very helpful and good for our country. However, things changed 2015- onwards- there are large scam companies now that bring unqualified people by taking money from them and creating fake student permits for them. The issue with that is that these people are OK with subpar living standards and offer their services for less than minimum wage and this creates a shadow/ cash-based economy where taxes go unreported and quality of life does not improve. This is not good for anyone- not the Canadians and older immigrants who lose jobs to these people and must pay higher taxes to maintain the infrastructure needed for a larger population. Not to mention how these new immigrants are a bit uncultured and almost like the "red-necks" of India- they throw garbage around, do not learn English, never make friendships with other races/ethnicities.

So for all the racists cheering about this, most of the people I personally know that are being deported are from places like New Zealand and the UK. A few have weird specialized jobs that are not going to be filled by some random college graduate. So. Good job, i guess.

Discuting! There is family who were in Québec for 2-3 years and learn french, have a job and there children go to school and now are afraid to be deported! Beautiful thing about we Hindus or Sikhs is that we don't enforce our culture to anyone. If it was Islam, Brampton would have become a no go zone or a mini Islamic country. You might ask me, why don't they assimilate with locals? Well, we are culturally different and our skin colours are different. Assimilation at large scale requires common ground. In work places, people assimilate but Race Mixing at large scale is also not good for the society. I was in niagara ontario last weekend and back in October. Its all indian, i mean 7 out of 10 people were indian, store and resturant owners, employees, tourists, residents all indians, very very few whites or english being spoken. I even tried to get pizza from a place called pizza depot, it was indian run and owned. The pizza was good but it seemed as though every which way i turned i couldnt support anything actually canadian.

The problem is immigration back in day was a luxury in India so only riches made it outside and they were rich compared to others after independence because they were more pro british and served them. So it was easy for them to immigrate and assimilate into your culture. Now you see many poor people also immigrating because immigration became more accessible, its just like the touchscreen phones, before only rich people had them, but later and now everyone has it. Plus your overly liberal and the stupid point system lets anyone enter the country if they meet a specific criteria, they barely check their english, background, crime record, etc. Also, living in India is a survival, or a nightmare for short. Especially for the poor people in the up north, and so they go to these shady agents who claim that they can send him or her to Canada, UK, Australia where ever they want in exchange for some money. Sometimes these agents turnout to be scams and sometimes not, then these students apply to some fake university that has no campus in Canada and select a course thats easy. Then once approved they come to canada, don’t go to university and make some other indian friends who say they have contacts with some job providers and through that the students get their jobs at the fast food joints and shopping malls. The mindset with which these students come to Canada is that I want to get a simple job as soon as I land in Canada and through that job I can get a PR. They never go to assimilate or discover the culture, they come because the country looks nice, has resources, and will provide them with a good salary so that they send some money back home to their parents as compared to low paying jobs in India, which too are super competitive. They still like the indian way of life, the culture, the food, the attire, just not in India. Thats why you’ll never see these students eating at anything other than a Indian Punjabi Restaurant or a fast food joint, they will never make white friends, they will never try to change the way they speak and look at Canadians, they will never try to change their driving habits. In conclusion, more poor people and students migrating, paired with their mindset of “I want everything to be Indian just not in India but in a place that looks better” paired with their low interest in actually learning and working better jobs is what makes them a bad immigrant group. But thats not to say that all are like that its only some and mostly Punjabis/ other North Indians that have this mindset. The reason why the Indian group in USA is much better and successful is because they are mostly of south indian descent. Those people are far more educated, actually respect the law of the land. And fun fact: The stereotypical Indian Accent originated from USA mainly and reason why many indians say that they don’t speak in that accent is because that particular stereotypical accent is present in Indian people who come from the states of Andra Pradesh and Telegana, which is is where most of the Indians in USA are actually from. Sorry for the long ass comment and some writing mishaps, I really lose my writing quality when I’m writing long comments.

This video is clearly biased. The individuals making disparaging remarks about Indians do not represent the broader community — every society has both good and bad people. What the video fails to recognize is that Indians are among the hardest-working and most enterprising contributors to Brampton’s economy. Content like this unfairly damages the reputation of our city. As a proud Brampton resident, I can confidently say that Brampton stands out as a welcoming and supportive place for immigrants, students, skilled workers, business owners, and seniors alike.

Good. Canada does not have enough jobs for its own. All those people unemployed & on social assistance can now take those jobs given to foreigners - especially with minimum wage being so high now. Employers need to employ people within, not outside the country!!!! All these jobs held by foreigners are draining Canada of $$$ because they are not putting their earnings back into the economy, they are sending it back home. Whereas, Canadians invest right back into our own economy. We buy & invest in Canada.

Well, you Quebec will regret soon, including your economy. These decisions don't work like that. There will be maybe short-term benefits that will turn out against your economy pretty soon. 30 + years in this city and i have seen the changes. I dont want to single out students but they are the main reason for it. Fake car insurances and expensive cars they cant afford. Results in my insurance being higher by default. Many students coming here and not studying but getting on trucks as soon as they get their license makes brampton one of if not the most city with trucking companies . Sheridan college with its low standards dooms the city. Multiculturalism is good but when people ruin that for others for their own cash grab methods makes this city extremely expensive to live in.

Some have abused our good will. Liberals have made it better for corporations to hire immigrants as they only have to pay a portion and liberals forcing taxpayers to pay the rest for the cost up to 17-20$ an hr!!!! We have to bring like before people who contribute to society and can stand on two feet but we have too many munchers and now under liberals 14 years of power we have the rich who avoid taxes the poor who can’t afford taxes and the nee middle class who pays all the taxes to pay for the rest. Good journalism, it's good to get out and hear what people are thinking. In viewing, it occurs to me that it's hard for white people, and maybe Christians, to understand some Asians. I'm an American, so-called white American, and love Sanatana Dharm, or what most people call Hinduism - that term should soon be forgotten. Anyway, this video shows a variety of people called Indians but whom are vastly different in belief. So much so, they maybe fighting in India but abroad, they stick together. Islam and most Indian philosophies (they are not religions as there is no overarching institution or organization) feed the "devotees" several times a day...it is a part of the culture, shared meals with those who share faith. The Indians, they basically want a better life and will send money home. Muslims will buy land through a trust and then buy more and more. I don't know about Canada, but there are no such cultures in America - well, the Church has bought a lot of land but does nothing to serve people. The Mormons have land and a strong daily schedule, some community churches have very strong programs, but as a whole, The Church has done nothing to make itself appealing and therefore, there's no opposite or equal force. What to do? and as far as assimilating, yes, they should, but to what? Should they start playing hockey, drinking beer, etc. The second gen might. The West has lost it's way and religion isn't the solution but a culture not so decadent would be a good start.

Brampledesh…I knew it! I was there a few years ago and I didn’t see any other race.. I stayed at a friend’s small cottage ground. Which they are or we’re trying to take over the land. It was so bizarre all these new houses and people then a street away a small entrance surrounded by trees and cottages. So a mass migeration movement happen that every sikh families were moving in Cannada for good quality of Life....

As an Indian who's living in india never went to Canada even once this should be the responsibility of the government don't promote mass immigration govt should take a stand against these people if they are not paying taxes not working properly not following rules etc it's your govt and Canadian people's responsibility but in the recent Times I've never seen the worst canadian govt till date its really bad you guys should do something about your govt they are not in good trade relations with anyone around the world recent example usa

I don't think most Canadians have a problem with Indians. I think we have a problem with our government who is not able to enforce a policy that puts the country first. Immigration built Canada and good immigration creates jobs and opportunities. What we're seeing is the government exploiting everyone who built his country. A lot of Indians work here for cheap labour because the government and other regulatory bodies turn a blind eye if it means they can gain the trust and votes of the people they are essentially lying to. This is the fault of Canadians. The whole concept of Multiculturalism is a façade. What the hell did you all think would happen when you bring a bunch of people to the country but tell them they can hold on to their own beliefs and cultures? Fast-forward a few decades and now look at the mess it has created.

Why would they not accept coming here if they see potential for a brighter future ? This dependency is projected to lead to the implementation of digital identification systems, biometric tracking, and other dystopian technological measures. To be here as a citizen today, I had to pay CAD$35.000 for a two years program in Toronto. But to get the study visa I had to prove a lot of things, including money, proof that I had paid the college (at least 1st year), English, a Bachelor degree (education), a clear criminal history, and what attach me to my country. I had to study hard, and only after graduation I could have 3y work permit. By working in Canada I could get more point to become a permanent resident. After 2y having my PR, I could get the citizenship, but I had to prove I pay taxes, clear criminal history, and other things that show I would be a good citizen. So, I worked (and still work) hard, I am currently in two jobs and at school taking my masters, I respect the laws, I respect the culture (I never tried to impose mine), and I pay over CAD$10.000 in taxes per year on my income. That said, I feel as a slap on my face when fraudulent and dishonest people are able to be here cheating the system in any way. Some people may say I am an immigrant against immigration. NO, I am in favor of people taking the right path to immigrate, and make real contributions for this country, not coming to be scammers and criminals.

When government leaders focus on population and economic growth that's usually is a sign that they aren't balancing the budget correctly. They're trying to increase tax revenue without increasing taxes. I'd look closer at government corruption. Overpopulation destroys the environment. Canada is one of the few places on earth that still has an environment. Russia and Australia are the other ones. Russia's strategy is to look sort of like an ogre and it's too cold. Australia's strategy is to look like they harbor too many dangerous animals and the land is too arid. Canada's strategy is to keep higher taxes than the USA and it's too cold. People tend to gravitate toward lower tax and warmer places. Fewer people is better, it doesn't matter what their race is. So, I guess, people who are not trusting them knew something that I didn't... I never worked cash never tried to misrepresent myself to IRCC and this is what I am made feel... while 100s of people did cash jobs, saved money and today are getting PRs... still I am trying my best to stay legally, without exploiting loopholes... but, I feel scammed by the canadian dream.

I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I will share some words of wisdom by the late Lee Kwan Yew: “Whoever governs Singapore (LKY was the PM and founding father of Singapore) must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards, this is your life and mine. I've spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I'm in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” I hope the clownish weakling politicians in Canada (and, in much of the western world nowadays) can be enlightened a little bit.

I'm in NYC, my neighborhood is literally every kind of immigrant, Filipino, Jamaican, West Indian, Indian, Haitian... all low to middle class, with some who really _saved_ up working for their 30-50 years here. Kids born or here since little kids, educated and making good money with few exceptions. And so of course the neighborhood.. looks just like any neighborhood in America (albeit denser and more traffic). Must be all that 'wokeness' in NYC.
