As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. Both countries benefited from having a good relationship and now the great US has no one willing to challenge Mr Trump on this idiotic move, America is alienating themselves from a lot of countries and regular Americans are the ones who are going to suffer from this fall-out, the rich won't be affected but regular working class folks your stress is going to get a whole lot worse and that's unfortunate. Hopefully US wises up sooner rather than later and stop blaming immigration for their problems it's poor governing and politicians that have us looking at each other as enemies rather than humans with the same struggle and issues. They have money to send annually overseas but none to improve the life of their citizens in need, that should tell you something. People that don't look like you aren't your enemies, people who try to harm you, undermine you are your enemies. All these years US has a trade deficit of 1 trillion dollars every year. With tariffs we could have recovered 250 billion every year. That is a lot of money. As a Canadian, even though I have disagreements with our Prime Minister, he is OUR Prime Minister, and I am glad he is so clearly and strongly saying to the US government and US citizens that we are done playing around. The Canadian economy is in a stronger position to survive and recover from a trade war than the US. Couldn't make the March Forth rally today, took down by a migraine. Bad one too. \nI've been trying to get a doctor to fix my lower jaw bone, likely with a bone graft, as my left lower jaw is disintegrating and being reabsorbed by my body's auto immune response. \nI just got word today that with the pending cuts to Medicare, that I will likely have to pay for this procedure myself, to the tune of over $150,000 plus dentures, rehab, etc. \nThank you Amerika, I'm going to lose my face, and likely my housing, my food assistance, my SSDI, and quite likely my very life, because greedy billionaires own your ignorance.
