Trudeau is a clown. This is a guy who thwarts free speech and jailed his own people and took their money away during peaceful protests. Canada has enjoyed a a trade surplus against us forever. They also do not have to pay for military since they are right next to us. They should be doing whatever we want. Canada was sending recyclable trash to the Philippines. When the trash arrived it was not recyclable. Philippine president said stop sending but Canada continued to send it. So finally he said if you send one more ship, we will declare no war on you. And if that happened, without US help, even the Philippines would destroy Canada in a war. Way more fighting aged males and Canada has a worthless military. Canada has a GDP of 5-10% of US. So Trudeau acting tough is hilarious. Like a chihuahua barking at a grisly bear. If push came to shove, in the time of US war need, the US would simply take whatever it wanted from Canada. That's what happens when you don't develop your own substantial military-just like Europe now.

I am a Republican leaning American who did not vote for Trump (never voted for him), and I urge every country to stand up to bullying tactics of Trump. I am relatively rich, so this fluctuating market or rising egg prices will not affect me; poorer people than me will be affected greatly. And ironically, these poorer people voted for Trump. I just don't understand it because if I am a poor American, I would have voted for Bernie Sanders because at least the guy has some integrity unlike most politicians. And I am sorry to say I would have voted for Kamala Harris if she were not so dumb. Even though I lean Republican in that my values align more with Republican ideals, I consider whether a candidate has strong integrity and found none in Trump and Kamala Harris.

This guy, as well as every Liberal on earth are completely and utterly clueless and idiotic!! Trump isn't taking sides with Putin! Trump understands that BOTH Zelenskyy and Putin must sit down and agree to a peace agreement... THAT'S IT! Putin is ready.. but Zelenskyy doesn't want to even try.. for one simple reason.. MONEY! he knows that if the war ends, the gravy train called American money comes to an end... Billions of dollars is unaccounted for! Let's put our thinking caps on for just a moment.. where do you think that money disappeared to? Billions of dollars doesn't just vanish in thin air! So now that Trump is putting an end to Zelenskyy's gravy train and has called for the war to end, for people to stop dying and for peace to happen.. that makes him on Putin's side!?!? Good lord .. if this were Obama or even Biden getting this deal done in the same fashion, the media and these same liberals would be calling them heroes! They would be up for the Nobel Peace prize! And liberals wonder why they lost so terribly in November!!!

We are no in good shape economically to support other countries' economies. We need companies to come back to produce in the USA and those extra charges are an incentive to start producing again in the USA. After our economy is better, we can make new deals. \nAbout Fentanyl, it is funny that he said that it was all good and after that, saying just in the last months implemented all kinds of security measures. LOL \nHe speaks nice, but he is not a smart guy. Putting tariffs back to the USA makes it worse with Donald Trump. Donald Trump is a businessman, he can keep increasing the taxes and in the end, Canada will be hurt more than the USA. I suggest to peacefully open a negotiation with Trump, not to fight back at the same level... don't take it personally, it is just business.

Just so it's known but America has never been self-sufficient. We have always been reliant on others with good trade and fairness towards each other. My grandparents went through ww2 and had to go through rations on everything from gas, oil to food and tires. You got a book for everything and had to tear them out to get your products. I have always been a proud American citizen. My paternal side of my family has been traced back to the Mayflower and I have ancestors and family that have served in the Revolutionary War, the American Civil War, WWl, WWll, Vietnam, the Gulf, and Afghanistan. This country has made many mistakes and has had much shame throughout its existence for various things but this is the first time and U.S. president has turned his back on our friends and allies in favor of an evil authoritarian leader named Vladimir Putin who strokes his massive ego and gives him elusions of power and respect from Putin when in reality Putin is playing Trump like a fiddle. And that tight rope spans from one high rise building to another - the senate and house chambers of the US legislature. The midterms are coming soon and if President Trump loses the house and senate, that tight rope could snap! And all those shock and awe executive orders etc. could come back to haunt him like a boomerang thumping his head.\n\nNever in my wildest imagination would I ever imagine Canadians harboring bad feelings towards the USA! This is 180 degrees opposite of how things were when Ronald Reagan and Brian Mulroney were in the political arena!

As soon as Trudeau or any other Canadian Liberal MP says, “Let me be crystal clear,” or refer to clarity, you can be sure that there is dishonesty happening! This guy has been working on Canada’s destruction for 9 years. He has given away Billions of taxpayers hard earned dollars to those of his choosing, as though it were his to give. He has been financially running Canada into the ground with the help of his financial advisor, Mark Carney. He has let The Canadian Armed Forces disintegrate for lack of funding, while choosing to refuse payment to NATO and those who help to defend Canada. He and his Government have been involved with billion dollar scandals and have become a major force of “Legalized Crime!” Now he wants to lay the blame for his poor leadership on the US. Unfortunately, many Canadians don’t see the truth! The Canadian News Media support the Government and suppress the truth by backing the Government Propaganda and by twisting the truth into untruth! It’s a childish game being played by an entitled child who doesn’t care about the people he was supposed to be leading. I voted for Trump, but it's hard not to agree with Trudeau on this even though I find this guy to be extremely unpleasant. There's no reason to start trade wars all over the world and in particular with our neighbors. It's one thing to threaten tariffs and a very different thing to actually apply them. If you do it has to be accompanied by a lot of diplomacy so that the other country is not overreacting, but Trump has been super combative prompting our neighbors to respond in kind to save face. While past deals may not have been great for US, this is not the way to handle our differences. Billionaires like Trump and his friends will be fine, but the majority of ordinary folks in the US and Canada will suffer. Very dumb, indeed.
