Old European immigrants hate the Indian immigrants, old Indian immigrants hate the new Indian immigrants--seems like the common denominator is that everyone hates change. Which is their right, but it just feels ridiculous looking in from the outside.

In the meantime, my family and I are struggling to pay for the international tuition of a future surgeon and engineer, and our migration process has been delayed due to the actions of many fraudulent individuals who have destroyed the entire system. At the same time, my taxes are funding all those lazy drug addicts on the streets. This is ridiculous.

This is a horrible situation on both ends and the fact that its all 100% administration failure is sad. Its not fair to anyone not even the immigrants. They keep bringing in more people then the economy can afford to live here I frankly find it ridiculous. I want to know whats driving these policies to continue. My parents came to canada 25 years ago, they payed thousands of dollars to get status here. Now people are getting in as cheap labour that can't even afford to live here so they dogpile 10-15 people in the same 2-3 bedroom apartments or houses and the infrastructure is still being built on the logic of single families when in the reality thr opposite is happening we have sudden crowding because rent is unaffordable due to the massive influx of people, including canadian born nationals that are forced to live in these environments if they don't have support- Its crazy why not close your borders stabilize rebuild infrastructure then slowly work on immigration policies again when the housing market and job market are stable again. Theres absolutely no reason to cite labour shortages when theres an unemployment rate and homeless people everywhere- close the borders- get homes built, throw heavy incentives to join and get educated on any productive field that has a shortage upto and including providing shelter to canadian citizens that decide to pursue these fields and are homeless. Have a fast track rotating incentive down to the year along with guaranteed on job training for all occupations. Such a simple solution so stupid we can't execute it. Too busy squabbling liberal conservative baseline rhetoric that we made ourselves blind to the human cost in our own borders.

The problem is actually two problems, both are huge, both are ridiculous and both are either cause and or allowed by the federal government: 1. Cutting funding to higher education - this has been policy for the past 5 administrations and seems like a thing in common between the liberal idiots and the conservative idiots. This makes these institutes incentivized to use international students to subsidize Canadian education and their own expansions. 2. The government letting immigration go through such a process. It’s crazy that people who go through this system cannot be vetted more properly.

Workers actually being valued and needed instead of competing for not even enough jobs? Oooh, so scary. Many come with fake study visa, then go to downtown Toronto and do uber eats on their moped/ebikes. They drive extremely recklessly, often without lights at night or stopping in the middle of the bike lanes glued to their phone. Its absolutely ridiculous the amount of close calls i have had with them, going down the wrong way, running stop signs and red lights.

I don't see this as a social problem, Canadians are from everywhere, we are not inherently racist because we are voicing the mess Canada is turning into. It's a Political problem. The last governments have quietly opened up immigration without providing infrastructure to support them. Taxpayers dollars have been dolled out for new immigrant's housing and living. This is akin to welfare in that there is no incentive to begin to work and make your own life when the federal government is supporting them with our tax dollars...and first generation Canadians are afraid to speak up for fear of sounding racist. I am a Canadian born and bred. I ask these questions, could we, as Canadians, go to India or China or any other country to live and act the way these people do, say the things that they say and get away with it. Do you think I, as a white Canadian, could go to India (for example)and demand they change their traditions and religions because it doesn't suit me? Everybody knows the answer is no. Don’t get injured, get any older or anything like that and unable to work in this country now as you’re much better off passing away.

I'm waiting 16-18 months for spine MRIs that I'm supposed to have every 6-12months due to severe degeneration of my discs. It's ridiculous. I can't work, social assistance rates are so low that I have to cram myself and my kids into a 2-bedroom and even then it's over my max ODSP , actually closer to my full Child tax. A friend of mine who immigrated here recently needed help looking for a place and I asked what her budget was for rent and she told me the government will cover up too $5,000 per month rent payments. I was blown away and this is a single young woman who barely speaks English friend or not this is ridiculous.
