Thanks a lot for such an informative video. This is my first video on Canada PR process. I don't think I have any questions on the process. Brilliant!! One quick question, myself and wife both are Chartered Accountants (CA), age 46& 45. I guess that's the reason our CRS is coming low (around 380-390). We are yet to go for IELTS. Just to confirm my understanding..PNP is the only way forward. Right? Do we need to create both Express Entry profile and in parallel apply in PNP program??

Thanks, My son was born in Houston but currently we are living in Canada. Me and my wife are Canadian only. I am wondering if we need to move back to Houston for my son’s university in US in the future. What do you think? Which option is better for my son’s future opportunities by going to Canadian university or American university? Thanks for your opinion.

I will say I have been lucky in Calgary (moved to Alberta in 2011; became perm res in 2018) with my healthcare. I have a great liver specialist and family doctor as well as a backup. I just fell and cut the back of my head Monday (2 staples but nicely done; I do not feel any pain). I know that is not common for people. I think some of it is timing based on the comments. It will only get better if we quit USing it (i.e. politicizing it). As an ex-pat watching that dumpster fire, moving to Canada in 2010 (first year in YVR) was the right step for me (however, that said, being that I am plain white looking male, I know that made it so easy at least until I applied for Perm Res. Then, being a white american worked against me). Luckily, I had been involved with a Canadian citizen several years whom sponsored me for Perm Res. I really enjoy seeing your POV in your videos. Thanks The Fifth Estate! We need you guys here in the US! lol Anyway, it seems you Canadians follow the same bad patterns as the US, including doing this. This is not good. Not only that, in the end, there are no real winners. Only losers. Greed is never satisfied and is in constant need of feeding, needing of new victims. This applies to greedy schools in need of new bodies, to homeowners over charging for houses. Canada will end up with newly homeless that needs housing, to unpaid debt that is saddled upon taxpayers. And worse of all, the victims..who traveled all this way, only to end up with debt, and an unfortunate life lesson.

I have many friends in Canada, and my clients appreciated my work. However, I found it very risky continuing to live in Ontario / Canada, and couldn’t continue doing any business where there is no fair legal protection and do not respect the basic human rights of ethnic minorities.\n\nThere are too many fraudulent organizations, individuals, legal professionals, and public servants with authority. People with fiduciary duty openly lie, abuse their authority, commonly downplay the significance of their criminal acts, and together they seem to be trying to maintain their status quo biases.\n\nI have emigrated from Canada a year ago to protect my health and life, but am still concerned about the safety of my good friends who live in Ontario/Canada because of the corrupt legal system there. \n\nSpecific examples of what I have experienced: \n\n[Employment Case] \n- Punished by ‘the system’ for pointing out the risk of clients' data manipulation by the upper management of a company; investigations by the Ministry of Labour were biased and incomplete; the legal proceedings by OLRB was interrupted and biased; they have suppressed/buried the evidences that I have provided; they did not share all case files with the applicant(me) but among all other parties until one minute before 5pm on the last day of the statute of limitation; the Vice Chair had interrupted the direct negotiation between the parties and closed the case by canceling the hearing; the Board’s lawyer told, 'sue the Ontario government if you have any issue'; \n\n[Civil Case/Lawyer Malpractice] \n- Ignored by the system when filed a complaint about the fraudulent practices (to LSO) and a fraudulent charge of over 10K without any itemized invoice (to the Superior Court of Justice [SCJ]) made by a contingency lawyer after failing to respond to the opposing party by deadline, failing to negotiate, and abandoning the client(me); the lawyer is apparently a son of board members / public servants of the province and the country, according to a paralegal who I met for the first time at the Fee Assessment Hearing “by chance” and claimed himself as my counsel to the Court clerks and telling them to send all documents to him (I’ve never asked nor retained him); LSO refused to investigate my reporting; the Commissioner had refused to accept a critical evidence, and refused to investigate without reason; the Fee Assessment Officer at SCJ was biased by giving privilege to the lawyer at the hearing, and interrupted the hearing without waiting my response; (the lawyer wrote an online article then about LSO and said “There are too many unacceptable practices that are being tolerated or ignored by the Law Society - from improper marketing to improper contingency retainer agreements. The regulatory penalties for such breaches are essentially non-existent, and these practices will continue until there are adequate enforcement measures in place.” He appeared to be talking about himself. He had threatened to pay the unreasonable fee over 10K for the unfinished contingency case, withdrew the amount anyway from my credit-card, and refused to provide the case files to me/client, while OLRB Vice Chair had ordered to cancel the hearing after interrupting the direct negotiation with the opposing party; they all refused to share the records of communications that had occurred without my knowlege/presence.)\n\n[Residential Tenancy/Public Health&Safety Case]\n- Punished by the system for requesting the property owner to eradicate health hazards (toxic mold, pests, and dusts) from my living space in a residential rental property; LTB proceedings was biased and unfair, interrupted multiple times when I spoke and suppressed the use of my evidences in the hearing (e.g., a letter from a medical doctor, warning the danger of continued exposure to toxic mold), downplayed the risks of exposure to asbestos/lead and the obvious contraventions of the laws [OHSA, RTA, and municipal Property Standards by-laws] by the property owner; LTB suggested the [former] Tenant to pay for the order reviews only to decline those reviews; LTB's selective omissions of evidences that are inconvenient to the other party/ the property owner; my basic human rights were clearly violated -- no response from LTB, Tribunals Ontario, nor Human Rights Tribunals; the property owner, municipal Property Standards office, and LTB have colluded, needlessly delayed the proceedings, and closed the case after 2.5 years without issuing any order against the property owner’s contraventions of the laws, while I had continued to suffer from the prolonged exposures to health hazards (I have paid the rent in full for over a decade without any delay, even during the Covid lockdown, out of my retirement savings [I was not eligible for the government financial support during the lockdown -- no income, but some retirement savings]). At least two of sixteen units in the building had their balconies literally falling apart; the walls have cracks and friable materials in the living space; my neighbors were afraid of falling through the cracks on the balconies from the upper floors — you never hear about these things in news because they are all colluded and do not issue any official orders.\n\n[Healthcare Issue]\n- I left Canada before Nov. 30, 2021, as I had serious reactions to the first Covid vaccine-shot (my immune system was compromised, affected by the continued exposures to health hazards in my apartment) but my physician had refused to diagnose them then — there was no proof of my adverse reactions to the first shot; later the physician had made lies and terminated the doctor-patient relationship; I was required to take the second-shot, or else… I have disposed / gave away of my belongings within two weeks and left the country to protect my health and life -- fled from Canada.\n\nReported to CBC, but they do not reply. \nPosted Gogle Reviews, but they are deleted.

Only place this NYer would ever consider in Canada is the province Alberta. NO thanks to big cities...anywhere.

Have a doubt, since you got the Express entry PR through PNP program, are there any restrictions in terms of working in different cities in Canada such as we have to work only in Ontario in your case) and resident in Ontario only, things like this?? thanks for the honest observations. I appreciate it. I have noticed many comments that employment may not be the best in Canada. However, employment is not the only way to make money. Anyone can be self-employed/small-business owner, big business owner or an investor, according to Robert Kiyosaki. I guess, Canada may not be the best country for employment opportunity, but can be the best for retirement after you have gained enough passive income from investments in different businesses.

Hi Jason, I have a few questions regarding PR for Canada.\n- I did not qualify for CLB7 in IELTS & scored only 6.5 (two times) which does not allow me to apply for express entry profile. So with 6.5 rating can i apply for PNP program. My best bet is to apply for Alberta since thats the only state i can think of? I am a little confused with this. Please do let me know thanks.

Both me and my wife have Master’s degrees. Problem is I got a CLB 8 band getting us a totalk CRS score of 402 only. I wanted to write IELTS again but not able to get test dates here in the USA; earliest is May 2021. \nNow, I also know of two other ways of improving CRS; PNP from Alberta and BC Tech Program.\nHere are a few questions popping in my head:\nWould it be a good idea to create an Express Entry profile with 402 score and wait for Alberta to pick us for PNP? \nWhat happens if I submit my Express Entry profile and later I get a better IELTS score and want to submit that profile?\nI’m obviously using the Alberta PNP only for PR, so what are restrictions on us to stay/work in Alberta? Our plan is settle down in Vancouver, BC. \nI just found out about the BC Tech program from one of your videos and planning to prepare and apply for jobs there. Back in 2001 when I was a customs officer I was already seeing fraudulent stamps in China passports, and special coaching to try to sneak into Canada. I only caught them because thanks to my background, I know the language, as well as some strokes of luck. There must have been tens of thousands that have gotten easily through the borders over the last two decades with impunity. Pathetic sentences like these are part of the reason why.

As a black man I rather live among the white than among these so called punjabis...just look how they treat each other in India, the North Indians don't want to have nothing to do with South indians all because they are a little darker...in Canada here they would rather employ only Punjabi, and no other race...if an Indian girl married a black man look how they will treat her. They would kill her and have nothing to do with her...and then you all talk about how whites are racist, oh please cry me a river....I rather live among the white people than among some of you...atleast white would employ a black man...these so called punjabis hardly ever employ a black man...if you all dont want to mix why come to canada...canada is a multi culture, please stay in India please and thanks!
