One thing I find cool about Canadian federal speeches is that they conduct it in both English and French - Canada’s official languages. Their politicians are mostly bilingual because they are required to be. That’s kinda cool.

Ohioan here. Mr. Trudeau is such a mature, smart, and reasonable man, and straight to the point. I agree with him on everything except for one thing. He called Donald, smart. I’m sorry Mr. Trudeau, but I must disagree. Donald is not smart. In fact, Donald is not fit to hold office. Donald, must be removed from office along with the rest of his clan.

And seeing that he is insulting people and allies left and right I personally would love for other leaders inventing fitting names for him paying him back in kind. I think Trudeau is the only one Canadian guilty of this problem. A French official disguised as a religious man was involved in drug trafficking with the Miami baggage handlers. He even commissioned the baggage handler to commit domestic terrorism for the benefit of France. Air Force pilots died as kamikazes to destroy the drugs while CLEANTOWN prevented the FBI from raiding Arkansas as usual under the pretext of religion. The worst thing is that this pretext did not prevent women and children from being burned in the Davidians as the ASOVs do in Ukraine. Submitting to the French government when they are going to have an import tax is allowing French products to pass through Canada to avoid paying tax. To be sure that this does not happen, they do not need a vassal of France who follows the liars, and this is not a hypothesis, it is a fact that a Canadian, either disguised customs, or director of 2 wheels, can confirm not the arrest of the baggage handler who traced the trail but the domestic HATRED of these so-called gentry French, the friend of the haters of the KKK of France is not a quality of security and alliance against hatred and sure that the taxe will be apply to the hatred.

Americans obviously didn’t understand what tariffs are, didn’t get that it’s an import tax which they must pay on goods and products they buy from Canada, a tax which tRump collects from Americans and uses to pay for tax-cuts for the richest citizens. But one more thing Americans don’t get is that before this fateful day an unofficial boycott against ALL US goods has been growing since tRump insulted Canada’s Prime Minister and threatened Canada’s sovereignty—whereas Canada’s official countervails ( which only kicked-in today )only target certain US goods, not ALL of them like ordinary Canadians are doing in growing numbers right now—in fact, the imposition of tRump’s tariffs today has only made the unofficial boycott bigger and more organized. It’s heartening that so many nations have solicited Canada, offering alternative sources for common US exports to Canada —citrus fruits, pharmaceuticals, and other manufactures, to name a few.\n\nI don’t think Canadians even realize how big this unofficial boycott is getting because it’s growing so fast. I’ve never seen a surge in Canadian patriotism like this. Never in my seven decades —which includes the two Referenda on Quebec separation. And there’s a federal election approaching when all partisans will be one-upping each other in the patriotism department—which manifests in more boycotts of US goods and hospitality services.\n\n Americans should know that the unofficial boycott is more harmful to US exporters than the official targeted countervails because it features immediate and longterm diminishment of Canadian purchases of US goods—all retailers know it’s very hard to recover lost customers once they’ve found alternatives (and the added patriotic effect only makes it worse). Included is diminishment of Canadian visits to the USA. I know from much-welcomed temp Mexican construction workers in BC (where I live) that they view Canadians completely differently from our mutual US neighbours—and now that affection is growing like never before. \n\nI’m continually amazed at how uninformed Americans are about tariffs—and misinformed by tRump and his goofy, preposterous, and ridiculous fantasy of world-domination. I loved the speech of PM Trudeau- but one thing he kept saying is wrong. Our government did not do this - One man did this via executive orders. He does not care who he hurts. He does not care about the American people. Trump only cares about himself and his relationship with Mother Russia and Putin. TRUMP doesn't want peace. He is thriving on the chaos that he and Musk are initiating. Trump needs to be impeached immediately but our Congresmaen and women, who are supposed to represent their populations are too scared to do anything other than what Trump tells them to do. Our Government is supported to have a Check and Balance function, but none of the branches have the guts to stand up to TRump. I really believe that Trump's American first policy is to end up as America ALONE.

To be honest Jack Daniels is a crap whiskey, one of the worst on the market. So its absence from the shelves is not such a bad thing.

Justin stop being diplomatic. It’s time to cut tramp off period. The world is large deals are to be made there is never any deals with an imbecile and an individual that is by far one of the dumbest thing that America has voted for.

One thing is remarkable. He spells out all these while assuring the Canadian people the government will stand by them through the tough moments and expand benefits to mitigate the situation. I don’t know if Americans will be getting the same treatment from the federal government.

I voted for Trump, but it's hard not to agree with Trudeau on this even though I find this guy to be extremely unpleasant. There's no reason to start trade wars all over the world and in particular with our neighbors. It's one thing to threaten tariffs and a very different thing to actually apply them. If you do it has to be accompanied by a lot of diplomacy so that the other country is not overreacting, but Trump has been super combative prompting our neighbors to respond in kind to save face. While past deals may not have been great for US, this is not the way to handle our differences. Billionaires like Trump and his friends will be fine, but the majority of ordinary folks in the US and Canada will suffer. Very dumb, indeed.

The only one thing Trump is around for is to make everybody else his minions, that is what he works for to get his kicks from - all the Trump willie show is about that and that is his only card. He doesn't do politics or economics or any of that. He does his 'You Have To Be Minions' willie show, and he does fall out of his pants when people can't be tricked. - That is the one red line he can be identified for. Sure, there is danger as long as the citizens in the U.S. haven't got rid of this cancer cell. It is the modern Adolf Hitler. So make sure to get past him in the shortest time possible - with the smallest damage caused - by any chance. Observation and criticism towards this fascistoid psychopath is surely unavoidable, but it is also what he wants us to do: to spend all our time and attention on him. So let's focus most of our time and effort on building and strengthening what we know that needs to be there instead of this fascist. Improving Unity amongst us. And never bowing to any of the global bullies and fascists. People who can't build on their own turf, communicate their points in a civilised manner, but need to get physically violent instead, militarily, economically, institutionally, at the cost of other people's lives - are not on our agenda. // We will not bow to bully threats - not in our small worlds, and not globally either.
