Canada has long been the 51st state of the US, as they follow the US so closely politically, ecumenically, culturally, foreign policy wise, etc. Canada has been following and listening to the US fed government even closer than some of the US states, e.g. California (leftists) & Texas (rightists). This is especially true under Trudeau who has been willingly to be part of, and to be subordinate to the US governments. He has nobody but himself to blame for the current situation.

Please note this; he speaks well, true enough. An intelligent and wise leader not so much.

I did not vote for Trump but I am a shame that Trump is president. Trump purposely destroying Biden’s “Build Back Better” he aligned with Putin. Trump staff Is part of Project 2025. These are the people who wanted a tax break, on the backs of the American people. Prime Minister Trudeau is not our enemy and I accept what he is forced for the Canadian people. We need to vote wisely to end Trump’s dictatorship and there will be 3 seats up in Congress in April.

Please also realize that, once your administration is no longer in control of our narratives in such a destructive manner, or it gets replaced by one that reverses this destructive policy, we will definitely reconsider our former relationship and we will work towards rebuilding it. \n\nIt is unfortunate for both sides here. We are aware of that. But “Canada Strong” is our way to remain forever a sovereign and free nation. Nothing more, nothing less. Always remember that.

As a Ukrainian Canadian, I feel like I've been stabbed in the back twice—first by Russia and now by USA once-close ally. I hope Americans use their democracy wisely and act urgently because if they stay silent, they risk becoming like the Russians who stood by and did nothing to protect their closest neighbors from a dictator.

The reason for this 'trade war' is not about 'trade'. It's about 'creating chaos' so that president Trump is the 'centre' of world attention. A malignant naracistic individual apparently cannot have anyone seemingly to be 'doing better' or being more successful than he is. Canada ?? is a very successful nation and because of its economic success it is creating envy and apparently hatred in certain individuals who view the success of Canada ?? as a threat to themselves. The USA now apparently cannot see the value of a strong and stable economy as its near neighbours. Thats why apparently there are some who now want to crash the Canadian economy and when times then 'get tough' the blame and responsibility for this chaos will be accepted by whom. Presidents and Prime Ministers come and go. Once their 'term is over' they simply 'walk away'. World leaders need to be men or women of integrity and honesty who 'do the right thing'. With 'great power' comes 'great responsibility'. You only 'give responsibility' to someone who has the wisdom and expertise and understanding in order to both 'hold' and 'govern' wisely and without fear or favor. Maybe its time for others in positions of authority in other institutions to step in and 'take control'. You would never let a child drive a super car on the highway so how much 'damage' has to happen before a world leader is not 'held to account' and his 'hands removed' from the steering wheel before there is a motor accident so large that the freeway is rendered unless and has to be totally shut down your. You cannot have total power in the hands of individuals who apparently do not possess the necessary skills knowledge and experience and wisdom that is required to fulfil the role they were elected to fulfil. I was almost born in Canada but because of an thyroid illness they did not aprove my mom to come to Canada (late 50`s) So my dad and grandfather decided to stay in the Netherlands. I have a soft spot for Canada........ could have been my home country. Good luck to all of us against dictators and bullies in this world. Who would have thought this will happen after 80 years of peace after a terrible world war and now becoming a threath again because of a few, so called wise men but actually todlers that never want to give in.
