It's a shame people in Western countries go to jail for defending themselves. The Police need to look the other way & let's fight it out for good and all. Unfortunately it won't happen unless the political institutions collapse.

I speak for myself and not on behalf of anyone.\n\nFirstly, in any such situation be it any religion, caste etc, before reacting, imagine if this was happening to your own son/daughter, your own brother/sister. \n\nSecondly what faith one chooses to practice and how they embrace it, be it wearing a kirpan, a burqa, or keeping a shika(choti), etc, especially opinions like what one can or cannot wear/do, lead to more harm than good. We don't live there, it's not our religion, it's not our life, then who are we to condemn and be opinionated about them.\n\nThirdly, whether the kirpan should be allowed inside an educational campus can only be determined by the campus authorities, the local police and the Sikh community representatives there.\n\nYes, he could have and should have worn it on the inside just like so many Brahmins wear the sacred white thread (yajnopavita).\n\nHe could have taken prior permission from the college authorities to freely wear it if possible and all this could have been avoided. Maybe he doesn't get the permission to wear it, who knows, there are countless possibilities.\n\nAnd lastly, I've come across so many comments labelling the Sikhs as Khalistanis, then if there's some other incident, commenting that people of so and so faith are terrorists, etc.\n\nBy all means, please call us Khalistanis, please call us terrorists, call us anything you like, but we'll continue to respect and love everyone.\n\nIt's a shame that our Jawaans are dying on the border fighting for their country, fighting for our country, fighting for us and we are creating divisions amongst ourselves. Petty name calling and what not.\n\nWe are Indians first, any Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, or Parsi...Indian getting harassed is my brother/sister getting harassed. As a former LP supervisor for walmart it's the yts that are the ones who steal the most physically and financially lol they are the mvps because black Friday, Christmas eve n big sales they max out their credit cards getting big ticket items n report the cards lost or stolen which falls back on walmart and others stores as a product loss n financial loss.. blks n latinas or yt women wit blk men or mixed children get stopped at 500-700 cards transactions. Yes seriously it's a shame but true

It's expensive everywhere this days. Actually I live in UK but I'm from Poland. Petrol now cost £1.45 plus! My rent is £1000 for one bed flat. Then add bills £1250. Then add petrol and car insurance.. I'm fucked end of the month. Living on credit card. Im a nurse and I earn £1800. I use to pay £200 for my small rental room.. I get paid the same as 10 years ago but everything else has gin up double! And my lovely Poland.. Its the same. I use to be able to have an amazing holiday there for £200 now £500 is nothing.. Don't worry prices rocketing all over the world. Shame that we don't get paid more! Because I like my job.

Having 3 degrees including a MSc. I can confirm that it's hard to get even an acknowledgement from the employer. Lack of Canadian experience or education comes in way and almost feels like discrimination . So many people have to ditch their dreams for a survival job. It's a trade off not everyone is comfortable doing. It's a shame so much human capital is lost but it also provides cheap stable labour so I'm sure they won't complain.

It's very easy to say I proud on my India and I love my India but the reality of life in India very terrible and very bad.\nNow the situation is like rich people getting more rich and poor people going more worst poor\nAnd in future India have nothing but increasing prices of Dollar currency & euro & pound \nmassive corruptions...cases &\nWe pay tax but we don't know where our tax money goes still we have dirty roads and no proper women safety & i shame to say this capital of India Delhi city is the rape capital city of India.\nIncreasing price of petrol desil & gas....Hindu & Muslims fightings.\nThat's why millions of people specially from north India and all over India want to go other country like Canada & never wanna come back & cool weather for Indians not a big deal if you ware three to four layers for four months that sets

It's Islamists that are a blood stain on this country where thousands upon thousands of men and women gave their lives for our freedoms and rights but now look at what these people have brought to this beautiful country. It's a lot more negative than positive and its only going to get worse. They've brought grief with them everywhere they migrate to. After this video the good people of Canada have spoken, but who is really listening. It's just a crying shame. Their religion and ideologies are a disgrace not only unto them but unto the human race itself. Where is the goodness of this religion in our society, and where is the respectfulness and productivity when we allow these people into our country. I feel so very sad for this great country's future.

I don't understand how we welcome Canadians to our communities without forcing them to leave their religion but we face that when we come to Canada. **Terrorism has no religion**\n\nIn the past, christians had some terrorist groups and it was crazy but it's ignorant to say Christianity is about terrorism! Now we have crazy groups but that's not us! they use the name of islam and they manipulate verses to do their greedy ugly work.\n\nBTW Canadians should feel ashamed, because they treat Native Amercians like shit, and they still do << quoted from white Canadians! \nthey took their land,,, took children away from their parents to foster homes. this is taught in Canadian universities in a class called Aboriginal Studies.\n\nturn off the TV and go read about islam. I have a white Canadian friend who converted into islam. and she is VERY happy about it.. and i have so many other non muslim friends... we love each other and care for each other.
