I am a lifelong Republican and I try to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ; I voted for Mr. Trump in 2016 over the following years I have come to see that Trump co-opts any tool he believes will allow him to collect wealth, influence, and legal immunity for himself. His boorish manners, crude rhetoric, misogyny and racism are so antithetical to the Savior I love that I have committed to being a straight ticket Democrat until balance returns to the governance of my nation.
