New Yorkers voted for these politicians and DAs so let them live in the cesspool they created. I feel sorry for the Americans who can't afford to move.

Do not feel sorry for Canada. I am Canadian. Canadians voted for the Liberal Socialist Government they have 3 times. The youth wanted marijuana legalized. The union governments wanted to tax the corporation to be the highest of the G-7, tax their citizens, attack investors, to fund their rediculous social programs, paid sick days, stat holidays, benefits, pension plans etc .....and now no one in their right mind would open a business or invest in Canada..... No, Canadians are getting what they voted for and deserve....Good Luck to them, I have found a new and friendly country to do business and invest in. Oh, and it has beautiful weather all year round. You could not pay me enough to invest in Canada again:)

New York went from Bad to Worse with Cuomo to Hochul. They had the chance to elect Lee Zeldin, but they chose Horseface Hochul. It's hard for me to feel sorry for them, even though I know it was mostly the city and not the state.

I'm sorry, I have no sympathy for individuals who want to break our laws and then demand that we take care of them. Why should we feel bad how about criminals who are breaking our laws? We have individuals who are living in the streets, we have veterans who are not being taken care of, and a host of other things let the government has failed to do. Being an Indian and who lived abroad (legally) for half a decade i will only say this you shouldn’t be migrating to a country illegally,if you are there illegally you should be ready for getting treated as someone who broke the law.The Indian government statement read its just protocol which is actually true.As a fellow indian i do feel sorry for the people who got deported but again you weren’t there legally,You should have expected this to be a possibility when you took the decision to cross the border illegally.

I almost moved to the US with my parents when I was a kid but was crying because I didn’t want to go. I am so glad that we didn’t move there. We don’t want to go there for many reasons, free healthcare, a good education system because we pay our teachers well and have good quality teachers, we don’t carry guns and don’t want them, thereby our streets are safer. We don’t have mass murders, school killings and all that fear. We don’t have the racial and ethnic prejudice that there is in the US. I have travelled a lot for my company and personal to the US. I was scared and didn’t feel comfortable at all. We know so much more about US geography and history and the US knows nothing about us. Complete ignorance. Well I have no plans to ever visit again. I love our people, our freedom and our culture. We are nothing like the Americans (sorry). I am staying in my beautiful country! I feel safe and happy here! We don’t want the American dream, we are living the Canadian dream!

I look across the river every morning to look at Michigan. I feel sorry for the guy who voted for Trump that’s now out of a job but elections have consequences. Funny, it only took Trump 11 days to screw the North American economy. It’s like we are casinos. Who looses money running a casino?

I'm reading.\n Some of the comments. I know my opinion may not matter. But it may eh inside some people. I hope I guess the way that I would look at this is being in their shoes. It's completely different than ours. We are given opportunities from birth. Basically to common deer, the life that we would like to have well, at least most of us are. In the United States, people from degrading. Or degraded countries are not giving those opportunities. So I would imagine over the years. Any type of hope that they had for a great country is depleted. Solidarity in countries like that is not accepted it would be suppressed. It would be stormed on and smashed out by the you. That was an excellent news report and puts some light on the real situation . I do feel sorry for those who were under temporary protection orders that should have just applied for citizenship as soon as possible and the majority would have got it . Many of these people were let down by the Biden administration , their community leaders and immigration advisors that should have helped and encouraged them to apply , but alas now it's too late . I know a bit about this kind of thing because my Mother and Father lied to me as a child and told me I was a citizen when I was not . I only found out when I joined the Army and they picked it up . There was no problem as I immediately applied to become a citizen and it was accepted .\nI don't know how many official documents I signed and told a lie about being a citizen , it gave me nightmares . Never lie to your children about that kind of thing .

The system is BROKEN. Tenants like this one are abusing the backlogs, landlords like this one want pitty when they are clearly MAKING INCOME on these rentals but are NOT paying taxes on those earnings yet, everyone else has to pay taxes on what little they earn. PLUS, there are landlords such as mine that has decided to take away my basement after renting the WHOLE house so he can build another unit so he can make more money but all he's offered is to keep my rent at the same price, no increase. I have to put up with losing space, parking, dealing with deathly noise for who knows how long just so he can make more money????? He should have made a clear contract around this plan he had to add another unit when he rented it to me. Sadly, landlords have become very greedy, I don't know where they get so much money to buy multiple homes but most families in Canada today can't afford the outrageous downpayments being asked to own a home!!!! I don't necessarily feel sorry for landlords. NOW pay taxes on your income from these homes and you have more of a right to complain I say.

Our country was founded on revolution.We didn't like the oppression of the English we overthrew them and created our country.... These dysfunctional countries people should do the same... It is not America's job to take care of the world... I feel sorry for these people , but we have our own citizens who are homeless and hungry...

Your opinion is interesting, I am a European citizen, but I am sorry that you do not mention the good and conveniences that exist in this hospitable country, including the prosperous lifestyle that exists in Western society and freedom of speech. Not enough people are being sent back. Also, I don’t feel sorry for them because when my parents came to Canada, they went through the proper channels and filled out all the paperwork they needed to. As soon as they got here they found jobs which was in abundance at the time. So trying fake anything just to come here is unfair to the others who do it the legal way.

I’m sorry, but never would I move to the US for all of the reasons already given in the video. I have a good friend in Massachusetts and I keep asking him when he’s going to come home to Canada. I really think Trump is going to be President again and I think it is time for my friend and his son to come on home. I feel really sorry for the people who are desperate to find basic security and stability in their lives. However, addressing each case individually is not a solution to the broader issue. The global situation is likely to worsen in the future, and with the increasing rate of illegal immigration, we risk losing the cultural integrity of Europe. I empathize with these people and want to help them, but many carry a hostile ideology, and for some, their only hope for a better future lies in the establishment of Islamic rule. It's a sad and complex situation.
