Trump wants to make Canada the 51st state (to get the natural resources and despoil the country by drilling for oil). Does he really imagine that this is going to endear Canadians to America. Is he planning to deteriorate the relationship so that eventually he invades Canada? Because the tariffs make absolutely no sense for the reasons Trump has given.

Canada, the Ukraine, Greenland and Panama are stepping stones to that end goal.

I am an American who am horrified by the actions of this oligarch who has aligned himself with Putin. As a country we should be ashamed - especially those who voted this evil criminal and his cronies back into office. Canada should permanently end all trade with America. To start with, end all energy exports to the Eastern Seaboard and bring the entire Eastern Seaboard to an immediate and compete standstill. American shipping and port traffic, all railroad traffic, all airline traffic relies on importing Canadian energy so cut off the supply and brine the entire Eastern Seaboard to an immediate halt.

I know I will get attacked in the comments for this, but I grew up in the US watched many presidents come and go, and I have never seen the country that I live in turn so corrupt and evil in my life we have been lied to by our president. A man I did not vote for and it almost feels like it is turning into a fascist regime. What Trump seems to try to get at most is the unfair act of the USMCA. Most trades benefited Canada, while Canada refused to provide the same fair trades. Yet failed to support our own people when we need it, especially to clear up our own debts. Sadly, America is falling behind due to poor handling of Government Democrat corruption. I am neutral as both parties don't always provide the best solution for everyone. You have to pick who can help the American people. Europe buys energy from Russia, and Canada is only giving 650 million dollars in weapons over three years, while America has supplied hundreds of billions of dollars in aid and military equipment.
